The Troll is more like Brian Froud's version of a Troll than the more grotesque types we are used to from D&D & such.
Photos of the Tower's roof are coming up.
insurance companies really just want to find an excuse to 'share the blame' because that means they can really elf up your premium.
this goes doubly in cases where the other part isn't insured because they'll have a hard time of reclaining their money.
(if the guilty part is insured, they can get the money from his insurance company9
guilt in traffic accidents is kind of a very strange issue.
sure, a guy with a suspended license shouldn't be driving at all.
but if someone T-bones him it doesn't mean that he automatically gets the blame.
Neither if he T-bones someone.
at least in some countries there are 'emergency exception' laws. He could be speeding towards a hospital with a passenger that is too injured to wait for an ambulance, maybe. That means he may not even be driving illegally.
so driving with a suspended license is not an automatic guilt in an accident.
IANAL and all that...
Lessons learned today;
If The Book says to pull both driveshafts in order to remove the gearbox... they probably have a good reason...
such as there not being enough room to pull the gearbox far enough towards the left wheel to let it slip off the righthand driveshaft...
i need another chain hoist, a long-handled spanner for the wheel nuts, and the hw store doesn't open until 2pm tomorrow.
Now I'm hitting the shower1
