If ANYTHING shows to threaten you or your own, however, you immediately become a terrifying force to be reckoned with.
This manifests into the Walrus Patronus!
Those are the ones. Or at least some of them. They used MDMA during therapy, and found that as little as one session, which lasts about 4 hours, can have dramatic effects that last for months and actually improve for weeks after treatment. In the 60's they did work using LSD and psilocybin to treat anxiety and depression with similar results. If I remember correctly it was also LSD that was used to treat alcoholism and heroine addiction as well, with alcoholism in particular responding extremely well.
Then the crackdown on recreational drugs happened in the 70's, and the medical research got caught in the crossfire. Drugs that were showing promise in medicine were outlawed because of their recreational use, and medical studies using them were ignored as the drugs were stigmatized. But, just like with other drugs in the modern era, researchers have been raising questions about them and starting to look at that old research again. And in doing so, they're potentially changing medicine.
