    • Minus the bulk of extra heads and the very cool base, he's actually not that much smaller than Ma'al Drakar.     For now, I need to figure out what to mount him to for painting so I have some hope of at least leaning him over while not touching him.  His feet are big enough I'm thinking of putting 2 small screws through a thin piece of plywood.  He's heavy enough without the base though...  I might just try hitting him with liner tonight and seeing how badly I mess him up as I go...     Looking forward to seeing it!
    • I personally find that most minis look better irl than on pictures. That being said this one turned out great on pics! I love the pop between green and purple. Also that rune looks awesome, you must have a super steady hand!
    •   I probably need to give thinning it another shot. I tried thinning it down with water a couple of times but it always ended up really streaky (a mix of dark and light streaks). Sounds like I didn't thin it enough. I'm really liking the new Sepia Liner though. After writing my last post I went ahead and mixed the Sepia Liner 1:1 with FolkArt Glass & Tile medium and primed up a figure. It's quite nice. Turned out looking like a light flesh wash. Wren praised that Glass and Tile medium in her "first coat is the difference" thread so I picked up a bottle last year.      I hadn't heard about the Pokorny paints before. After checking them out I think I'll get the 4 main colors (Base Gray, Earth Stone, Olive & Stone Edge). If nothing else, they should come in very handy for painting my piles of Stones dungeon tiles, the upcoming Secret Weapon Tablescapes Dungeon tiles, and the DDS2 terrain.
    • It is beatifull!! I really like her face and the freelance on the shield.   Slightly more contrast in her hair would make it even better.
