@Kangaroorex @Doug Sundseth @kristof65 Guys you gave me advice on the little car problem. It turns out to be static, the weather changed and suddenly no problems anymore. Weird, but happy about it. Thx for the advice

Bones mini turning sticky after a while

Strange. I have sealed most of my paitned bones in either Reaper Brush on Sealer or Army Painter Anti Shine Varnish Spray. Never had this happen before. What would happen if you resealed it with a brush on sealer? Maybe that would help?

I'm not familiar with this. Where did you display/store the mini? Under what conditions?

    The Year of The Goblin...maybe

Looking good! Goblin warfare at it's best. A regiment of Goblins armed with pikes stands ready to attack the Dwarfs , first the Goblin archers fire their hail of arrows somewhat in the right direction, killing half a regiment of Goblin warriors and one Dwarf scout that was too close to them. Then the Phalanx of Pikearmed Gobbos march forward in a disorderly fashion, thus making the so called pikewall useless. The first Goblin that makes contact with the enemy pokes his pike forward, touching a sturdy shield, barely scratching it. Upon seeing the grim face of the Dwarf warrior this Goblin drops his pike and shield and turns to flee only to get impaled by the pike of the Goblin behind him. Their Commander ( bravely leading from the rear) getting fed up with this behaviour shouts some insults. Seeing how the Dwarfs advance the Goblin Commander now bravely runs back to the main Army and yells for assistance. Trolls are let loose who in their frenzy, rampage through the Goblin Pike regiment to reach the Dwarfs, trampling and maiming the Goblins. At the same time the Wolfriders are unleashed, finally the Dwarfs are in big trouble when these two units smash into their ranks. Seeing how the battle is turning into his favour the Goblin Commander now deploys his Fanatics. These mushroom fed maniacs thwirling big spiked metal balls are deing prodded in the direction of the enemy. Completely spinning out of control they make short work of most of the Goblin regiments before reaching the Dwarfs, just before they can do any damage to the enemy most of them collapse or are being hit by their own weapon. One brave fanatic does reach the melee though and he single handedly manages to take down two Trolls before a third Troll stomps him into the ground, thereby the Troll exposes his back to the Dwarfs who take advantage of that moment and kill it. The Wolfriders have lost their momentum and are being pushed back by the stout Dwarfs. Upon seeing the Dwarfs winning the melee and advancing, the Goblin Commander unleashes his most dangerous and biggest weapon. Dhimmwid the Giant is being poked in his ankles with a pike to motivate him into the battle. The Giant runs forward, eager to trample some Stunties ( slang for Dwarfs) when a fleeing wolfrider gets in his way, the Giant trips and falls down crushing the remainder of the Goblin battleline. The Dwarf General drinks a beer to yet another glorious victory.

The gibbet coming preassembled makes painting a bit more difficult. My idea how to do this, Paint the whole darn thing bone colour, give the inside a brown wash and the skelly will be done, the paint the parts of the gibbet itself in metal. Any stains , cover in blood and or moss to show the decay/death of the poor person inside. As for removing those legs. I will use a saw that cuts through metal, that should do the trick. If needed I will put the hut on a thin base. I'm pretty good at destroying things, those legs will come off one way or another. I understand that sometimes during kickstarters changes are made to concept arts or design. In this case I would have prefered to stay with the intention of removable legs and keep that gibbet where it was shown first. In the end it will be a minor nuisance and this hut is good value, it just would have been easier. *** Sharpens Axe, just in case the saw won't work baby...***

@OneBoot Thank you. I will use some green stuff to create a little rope then. From what I have seen so far it IS a lovely hut. When I saw the concept art I already knew I wanted it to be a Necromancer/Vampire's home. That gibbet is a big part of setting the scene, I'm not happy they changed the position on that one. It will be an easy fix in the end I guess. I will also use some of the Bones III Graveyard Fence and some tombstones for the "garden" and then I could use it as a nice backdrop setting for taking pics of painted Undead and such.

Timezone difference, so I hope it's over already. Take care! Thursday morning, at work, looking out of the window and seeing the Sun. It's going to be a beautiful sunny day. So...WWHHHHHYYYYYY am I not sitting in my garden and painting? Hrmph, I vote for robots doing our jobs while we get paid for it.

THAT! Is NOT COOL! I want to cut the legs off and create a Necromancer's / Vampire Mansion, the gibbet can't hang under the house then. It should be on the original location. So now I will need to glue that, maybe use a little greenstuff to keep it attached?
