    Alien VS Predator Miniatures Games

Please think of it this way: the more retail sales manage to go out, the more rewards Prodos can afford to ship. I just hope Prodos learned their lessons well when it comes to dealing with a megacorp and their IP.

    Alien VS Predator Miniatures Games

The plan is for there to be many xenomorph expansions: Warriors (Aliens), Stalkers (similar to the Runner from A3 and Stalkers from the AvP quarter-muncher), and Infants (Alien). IIRC, those should all be in sets of five. The Crusher (Colonial Marines), Queen (Aliens), Predalien (Requiem), and Royal Guard (not sure of the release) are all planned as singles.

Well, supposedly Prodos are busy cranking out the pledges. The word is that KS shipping will be out the door mid-month, and that if we haven't received it by EOM February we are to contact them. I know that I would certainly be thrilled to find my pledge on my doorstep come mid-month!

    Horses?

I just found out about the new Dark Futures developments shortly after posting here. It's very exciting for me! But I do hope they (Warlord, WGF, somebody) continue to make some of the old sets available. Sets like the horses are one of those items that are very useful even if they aren't top-sellers.

    Horses?

Wargames Factory is no longer selling their own merchandise. Warlord has picked up some of the sets (American War of Independence, and some of the other historics), Dreamforge is rumored to have picked up WGF's WW2 figures. I haven't seen any information about who might have the horses, Dark Futures, Aliens Suns,or other loose sprue deals, which is a bit of shame. I managed to acquire one set of horses and wanted to go back for another before they closed down their operations.

The Walking Dead: All Out War

Bell of Lost Souls says that retail will be $50/£35. The promo shot shows 18 miniatures, and Mantic said (in the comments to one of their blog postings) that a dozen walkers would sound out a game nicely. Not a bad haul for the price point. Will I be in? No. Nothing against Mantic as I've never backed one of their projects, but I just don't see myself ever really getting the opportunity to play.

Glad to hear it, Nocturne. It's always good to hear when progress is being made.

    Frostgrave Terrain: Seeking Input

This makes me think of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. It's even got the outstretched hands so you can lower sacrifices into the bowels of the earth...

    Reaper Bones 3: Post-Kickstarter Discussion

I'm liking the chibi-Bones. I'm probably going to have to add a pair of the Boneses (and another set of the Bonesylvanians). The oni looks great, but I'm not in for the Pretty Deadly (nothing against it, I just don't have a use for fantasy minis right now or in the foreseeable future). I think the Skoli looks decent enough, but the Valkyrie looks like she's going to float away (due to her helium-filled breasts) which would be awkward in a fight.

    Imperial Assault

I can't guarantee that it's accurate, but I saw a note in one of the threads that the reason given was that several commercial/pro painters were using the threads to advertise and generate commissions.
  12. Only one pose for the troopers? Multiple poses would have made it far more enjoyable.

    Looking for a miniature suggestion

Oh, that's right! I'd forgotten about that one. Even afterwards, there will still be organized groups or looted armories.

    Looking for a miniature suggestion

If you don't mind assembling minis, and more of a true-scale approach is OK, then look at Wargames Factory's Survivors. They have sets for both men and women. Wargames Factory has since shuttered its own webstore, but you might be able to find them through various retailers. Warlord is supposed to be picking up on WGF's distribution, but have only put out some "beginner" sets with WGF's Revolutionary War figures. I assume[/] that Warlord will be distributing the zombie and survivor lines (the survivor line is set to include a new "biker gang" sprue when/if Warlord begins distribution of those).

    Alien VS Predator Miniatures Games

I received a newsletter from Prodos about that just today! I don't remember when they sent it, I'm awful about keeping up with email anymore. Anyway, the newsletter had a nice shot for the Queen, Crusher, Predalien, Warriors, and Hellhounds.

Your Kickstarter list. How you doing?

Pledged: Funded: Awaiting Delivery: Reaper Miniatures: Bones 3 Partial Delivery: Zed or Alive: The Zombie Miniatures Game--I believe that partial fulfillment will be as far as this gets. Alien vs. Predator: The Miniatures Game--This is getting very frustrating. I knew that Prodos was likely to have issues just by looking at Warzone, but I did not expect this. Arcana Playing Cards--I haven't been able to check out the initial decks, but I'm looking forward to it. IIRC, I'm just waiting on the full tarot expansions, and maybe a couple large boxes to house the completed decks. Completed: Calaveras Playing Cards Your Board: Create Your Own Dungeon Tiles Funded, Delivery not Expected: Seelie Playing Cards with a Touch of Faerie Magic--This truly disappoints me. More for the collapse of Dern's other projects than for Seelie in particular. I am now a grandfather, and I had hoped to be able to help teach my grandchildren with Dern's monster numbers and alphabet books. But I'll also admit that I wanted a Seelie/Unseelie set of playing cards.
  17. A pack of raptors would be a beautiful thing! It would be nice if they could be multi-pose--or at least able to easily do arm, leg, head swaps. Dinos go into many settings: pulp, fantasy, sci-fi...

I've waited over 20 years for quality xenomorphs and USCMs. Another few weeks will not kill me.

    Alien VS Predator Miniatures Games

I received one of my boxed sets as part of the initial "oops" shipments for Americans. I haven't heard anything yet from Ninja Division about box #2. I've got enough (personal) things on my plate right now that painting and modeling just isn't likely to happen, and I'm a little reluctant to get into a new project with only half my initial haul. I've thought about taking a Sharpie to the edges (I did that with some of my original Space Hulk and Dungeonquest tiles), but I can't bring myself to do it this time. I picked up some supplies from Happy Seppuku when they had their DIY dungeon tiles Kickstarter so I'm contemplating making my own board pieces instead of using the tiles supplied in the game. It's good to hear about other backers getting their boxes. I wouldn't say that I ever really "doubted" Prodos' commitment, but those long gaps with very little activity were tough to keep reading about.

    Halloween Promotion

The pharaoh and skeleton are both part of the Bones 3 releases. The familiars are new, though.

I'm not even sure that the injection plastic will happen. Reading between the lines of some of Rob's comments, it looks like Prodos were going to go with Plastic Soldier Company but that is no longer the case. But the project soldiers on.
