Scottish breakfast rolls. I'm sure you would enjoy it, with plenty of strong brown gravy and a good dram of whisky.

Now tell 'em about the deep-fried Mars Bar, Kurenko.

Isn't it celery that takes more calories to eat than you gain by digesting it? (And it tastes vile, but please don't tell the wife I said so.)

Very glad I indulged in the Darkreach expansion, all of these look really good. Stone Lurker and Cave Spider are so full of character, they go high on my painting list. Best of all I think, (squinting hard at the screen), that the Dark Elf Queen is separate from her throne. So much versatility! I'll be getting repeats of that when retail happens.

Omnivore. What was it Terry Pratchett said about Meat, Starch and Crunchy Bits?

I'm resigned to the fact that my car will not be going into my garage for about a year...

Randomness XV: 'tis a silly place.

And still sculpting excellent miniatures. No no, Baseball is a really expensive version of Rounders...

Thank you for the insight. I certainly hope you are right, I just worry about so many trades that seem to be liable to be automated, leaving decent people with no way to make a living. You are certainly right that there are not enough skilled builders about. It is a standing joke at home that if a builder tells you he can start work next week he must be almost useless.

I find Wargames Foundry's sets of triples very useful, so that would be what I use most often. But Scale 75's reds and yellows give MUCH better pigmentation, so I use them a lot too.

All fascinating but... another set of trade skills lost? Less skilled work available? Glad I'm not young.

    Hellboy Boardgame kickstarter by Mantic

You're right, Carnacki. And as I was weak-willed enough to go in for all the extras I have little to moan about. Especially as it will be a couple of months before I get home and even open the box for these.

I didn't realise that. Not the first time I've voiced an opinion on something I obviously know nothing about.

I wondered if this was a reply to todays question... redambrosia is printing black kittens

    Katarina, Hasslefree Miniatures

Lovely figure and good colour choices. I do hope the "problems" Hasslefree had with this kickstarter will not prevent them from doing a second one.

Somewhat aggrieved to see this is already being advertised by Wayland Games at a heavily discounted price.

Dilvish echoes my feelings exactly. They sound like a good idea if you want to make a hundred repeats of one figure. But I want a hundred different figures...

Size of box? Likely to cause a minor shift in the Earths axis of rotation.

Not if it means I have that weird upside-down smile face he is always pulling. And definitely not if it means I make unjustified accusations of child assault.

Sadly breathalyzer tests are mandatory, and regular blood tests. Since "Amoco Cadiz" and "Exxon Valdez" nearly all tankers have been dry ships. Hammock and rum tester.
