He kept rolling extremely high numbers, so one of the other players made a joke about it. Then one of his opponents said he wanted to try his dice. The guy got really touchy so I said I wanted to see them. He refused, so I told him he would either use my dice or be out of the game. He refused and I ejected him. Only the second time I have had to remove a player in 20+ years of running at cons.

I never use them for "real", but I've got a really unsubtle set of weighted dice. You cannot make them roll, they just crash to the table. a six everytime no matter how hard you try to make them do something else. ::D:

I know much of this is stress related,

But I'm tired, almost every day when I get home I am.

I already take vitamine D and Zink.

Eat healthy ( most of the time!) but I have no energy left.

    Any tips?

    Are you sleeping well?

If not, then despite feeling low in energy I would advise something like half an hours brisk exercise to tire you enough to get better sleep.

Dex. I have quite a few ranks in dex-based skills but the stat itself is low. I can always tell when I have to roll a dex skill untrained because that's when I fall uphill or get bitten by a barnacle (both true events).

I have ranks in Escape Artist, Ride, and Stealth.

Perhaps the Stealth feat explains things: You crept up on the barnacle, surprised it and, quite naturally, it bit you.

Fatality Numbers for vehicle crashes, all causes, United States.

    TLDR: 32K—42K per year.

Link establishes an upper limit for all fatalities, all crash causes.

Ah, I could believe this is true for USA, but when you include what spiders, snakes and other scary beasties get up to in Australia I should think deer are a long way down the world lethality list.

To go along with this, the wreck of the Japanese battleship Hiei was found off the coast of Guadalcanal just last week. Both ships were lost in the same campaign, the Solomon Islands Campaign, about 3 weeks apart. Hornet on October 26th, Hiei on November 14th. Hornet was the last US fleet carrier to be sunk, while Hiei was the first Japanese battleship to be sunk. Both were scuttled and not outright sunk in combat. It can be argued that Hornet was lost in combat, since the Japanese technically sank her, but since the ship was fully abandoned and the only reason she was still floating was because of failed torpedo detonations I think it's unfair to claim she was a combat kill.

Surely both actions were part of the extended Guadalcanal campaign? Hornet is lost during the Battle of Santa Cruz. (Finally torpedoed by the Japanese destroyers Akigumo and Makigumo. So I really think this is a legitimate battle loss.) And Hiei is sunk at the Second Battle of Guadalcanal. The land battle for Guadalcanal lasts from the landing of 1st. Marine Division on 7th. August 1942 and ends when the Japanese finally evacuate the island on 7th. February 1943.

I'm not familiar with Bears Head Mini but whoever sculpts them seems to put in a lot of effort on some of the faces. The faces on the vampire and that bard look pretty amazing. Love how the sculptor gave the bard a head tilt. On the KS page they show the green sculpt without the tilt. That one change added so much character. Then there's that bull. I never thought about getting a normal bull mini but holy cow, this one is a thing of beauty.

I think this is the nicest figure in the kickstarter too... But if you compare it to the group shot of all the figures it does look a bit.. small.

Feb 12: How good are you about using the appropriate PPE (personal protection equipment) when the situation warrants it?*

*He asks as he sits here with bronchitis like symptoms coughing up gold dust from last nights polishing endeavors without a mask on.

As I'm the ships safety officer I echo everything crankydog said, I'm pretty fanatical about this. I get to see too many people who have "It will never happen to me" attitudes stumbling off to the sick bay with broken heads and squashed thumbs.

I even read PPE catalogues for pleasure... especially when I'm spending the company's money!
