  1. Hmm.. lets see:

Warehouse 13 board game - 10 months late, still trying to resolve issues with custom d6.

Antenocities Workshop IMF vehicles: 5 months late. Company downsized and reorganized.  Still hoping this will fulfill, but no idea when.

Greebo Games, Alastoran Demons - 6 months late, but they are shipping.  Just waiting for my Bunnies & Kitties.

Bones IV - 1 month late, not worried about it.

SJG - Wizard/Melee - due to deliver this month.

Impact Miniatures Chibi Sisters of Conflict - Due in May, no reason to doubt they'll make the date.

Heresy Labs 1.2 - 3 months late, but just got notified my figures have shipped.

Book of Monsters - 3 months late, supposed to be working on art work and edits for the book.

Gangfight: generic rules: supposed to deliver this month.  I expect it's going to go late.

Hobby Holder II - supposed to deliver this month.

Summoning a Dragon and Chronicles of Run are both supposed to deliver in April.

  2. Just got an email from Greebo stating that they'd thought all the orders had been pulled and gone out, but discovered that a number of them, including mine, hadn't ported over correctly when they changed their website.  Evidently if you've been stuck at 'order confirmed' like I was, that's probably what's happened.  They stated that they're going to delay the new KS until all the orders that were stuck in limbo have been dealt with.  So one of those good news/bad news situations.  Happy that they reached out to explain what was going on!

  3. I'm kind of baffled that folks would try to glue ANY type of Bones with plastic model cement.  It's formulated to work with a specific type of polystyrene, and none of the Bones are made of that type of plastic.  To the best of my knowledge the ONLY glue recommended for use with Bones has always been Super Glue.  If you're just doing it to experiment, well okay, more power to you, but the odds of it working well are diminishingly small.

  4. Well this one is chugging along.  Just unlocked the Orc Female Boss bust (say that three times fast), and we'll probably get to the 30mm Orc Warlord today or tomorrow.  I really want the Orc Queen on beast, but since she costs almost as much as my 4 bust early deal,  I'm not sure my wallet will allow it.  Hopefully I can add on in the Pledge Manager.

So if the Dark Elf Queen on the throne is detachable, that means I could build a little perch for her on top of my Cadirith giant spider..... Then it would be rude not to use it against my players, right? ::P:

She's separate from the throne.  If you look at the pictures you can see the space between her hands and the arms of the throne and the line along her butt.  Plus they'd never be able to get it out of a mold if it was all in one piece, even with slide  mold technology there's no way to do her and the throne as a single piece.

Dang!  A little sad that these might not get here till closer to April but I know it was out of Reaper's hands and they were trying super hard to hit that delivery date.  They got pretty close and from what I understand this will probably be the closest they have gotten to on time delivery.  I also get the feeling that they are probably more disappointed than a lot of backers.

It is not their fault that I am so impatient!  I am glad that we have more of a solid idea now of when shipping will commence.

Thanks Reaper for keeping us up to date!  We almost made it without any delays and I don't think a month delay for a KS is a big deal at all!

Edit:  I just hope the backers in the KS comments handle the news ok!

Yeah, a month in Kickstarter time is the blink of an eye for delays.  ;)  I've got one that's coming up on being a year late, and another that's pushing 4+ months.

And how many figures did those baggies hold? E. g. was the whole core set in one, or was it separated by themes similar to the individual core set add ons one could buy?

But yes, seems like I need to get a bunch of ziploc bags, not opening at least half of the Bones bags seems impossible. There will be at least 3 people in attendance for the unboxing, and all are very excited

Now I just need to convince my dad of lending me his labeling machine.

I've never received a core set before, so I'm not sure about that, but all the other things I've received have been individually bagged.

Another question for the people who have done this before: are the miniatures in baggies? Are these reusable? Or should I invest in a large amount of ziploc baggies?

They come in standard sealed plastic bags.  Not re-closeable.  Probably need to buy assorted zip-locks if that's how you want to sort them out.

Hubby and I finally remembered to watch more of The Rookie, with Captain Malcom Rey- I mean, Nathan Fillion

And now, thanks to the discussion on the randomness thread about pepper spray, I can't help but roll my eyes every time they spray someone. I'm sitting here watching a perfectly enjoyable episode and they spray someone, and I'm like "lies! They would all be suffering in the tiny space! That apartment would be uninhabitable!" Y'all done went and ruined a perfectly bad Hollywood mechanic

Without having read the randomness thread, it sort of depends on what kind of delivery system their using for the pepper spray, and what kind it is.  I know of a couple of instances where it was used inside a cell or holding area and the only person who was really suffering was the person who was hit with it.  At least it worked that way with the stuff most of the guys in the department I worked for used.

Be aware that the stranger the model is shape-wise, the longer it will take to release.  Goremaw from the last KS just released in the past couple of weeks.  "normal" sized/shaped minis I expect will be released in monthly batches after all the KS fulfillment is complete.

Yeah, I was so happy to finally see Goremaw!  Now I just have to save up the  moolah to buy a copy...
