  3. Adrian Smith's HATE

Yes. All in all the price per miniature will be quite low. I am meh about the game. But I could sure use the figures to represent Reavers for my Firefly RPG. I just dont know what I am going to do with 102 of them. They will however be super easy to paint. buckyball
  4. What would YOU like to see taught next year

Last year there was a presentation by Kathryn Fields on 'The rise of Fantasy Miniatures'. I went and found it interesting. But I think it could be expanded in several ways. Would more people be interested in classes/presentations on the collecting side of the hobby? buckyball
  5. Photo hosting sites

I use a combination of Coolminiornot and Facebook. I have not had any problems with posting on facebook. But I really haven't posted anything I would consider objectionable. You do have to watch out for the privacy setting on facebook though. Yesterday I had linked some photos of Mithril miniatures I had painted to the Mithril fan page and had not selected public for privacy tab on my page. And that caused the link to not work on the fan page. buckyball

  13. 28mm Sci-Fi Skirmish Games?

If you want a more Flash Gordon/Buck Rogers type game, I would like to recommend Future Tales from Two Hour Wargames. If you are interested in a more solid or serious set of rules, they also have 5150. Both sets of rules use the chain reaction system. If you are not familiar with chain reaction, I think you can still download a free quickstart of the rules from their website. buckyball

  16. 7th Continent - Co-Op Board Game

I am interested in this game. A friend of mine has had a copy since it first came out, but we never play because it supposedly takes forever to play. But with the drop in drop out aspect maybe I will get a better idea of how to play. buckyball
  17. The flying brains are from Rebel Miniatures. I got quite a few of them since they came in a set of like 8. I had used them as Migo heads a few months ago, and I had several extras. buckyball
  18. I got the box yesterday and shipped it out today.

  20. Finding a replacement

Boy I wish I saw this post sooner. I was at my FLGS this afternoon, and I think they have Sandy Tan paint. They have a bunch of old Reaper stuff. If you are really hard pressed contact Robert at Collector's Paradise in Albuquerque. Their phone number is (505)332-1664. buckyball
  21. Reapercon BoGW?

I think the odds are pretty small that this would happen. If someone did just keep the box, the person who sent it to them knows who are and what their address is. I suppose they could pretend to have not received the box, but still it would be that person making the claim. And that would look a little suspicious later on. Also if you think about it, that would be a lot of hassle to go to just to scam some miniatures that you might not even want. It would be more lucrative to scam people on bartertown or the miniatures exchange. You would of course get barred as a bad trader, but you would get figures you want. buckyball
  22. Reapercon BoGW?

You know what would be awesome, is if we could work out a deal with our friends across the Atlantic to swap swag boxes. I have seen all kinds of stuff come up on ebay.uk after Salute each year. It would be a bit problematic that the conventions are months apart though. Ideally it would be best if there were a convention in Canadia like right between the two conventions. That way the shipping costs might me smaller (US to CA to UK), and the Canadians could participate. buckyball
  23. Reapercon BoGW?

I am going to Reapercon this year. I usually get some swag I don't really need. And I would be happy to add it to a growing Goodwill box that will get sent out to people who are unable to attend this year. buckyball

  25. Need a mini ID

The wizard came in a set of paints. Kind of like Reaper's learn to paint kit. If I had to guess I would say it was Grenadier. buckyball
