    Monkey

Presenting the irrepressible Monkey, his group have journeyed to the west to represent the Guild of Harmony's Far East branch in the game Twisted. Was rather intimidated by this guy at the start, the whole set are pretty big on tiny details, but he turned out to be rather straightforward to paint. I've got to stop painting things Andrea Blue until I've figured out how to layer it properly though. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

    Urkin Shaman

Presenting the Urkin Shaman, part of the Dickensian faction in the game Twisted. Being smarter than the average Urkin, he works as Nancys right hand man, relaying her orders to the others through the ancient art of hand-puppetry. He also has an ability to "Hulk out", hence the little and large versions. Had a few issues painting this pair, there's a few areas where I never really worked out what it was meant to be, and I don't really like how the scale is a bit off on the bigger Shaman, but overall I think they look okay. As always, and comments or criticisms are warmly received.

    A little and large shaman

New to the table, I have the Shaman Urkin, both versions (in game he has the ability to 'Hulk Out'). Made a start to their skin with a basecoat of 1:1 Dwarf Skin/Dead Skin with Flesh Wash. Kind of intimidated by the task of carefully highlighting all the skin poking through the tattered clothing of big shaman, so calling it a day.

    The Hookah

Presenting The Hookah, once one of many labourers working Howard Carters archaeological dig, he gave up his name when he joined the Cult of Set. He is also part of the Egyptian faction for the game Twisted. Another mini where I wish I could've done a better job on his face, but this one had the double difficulties of not only being rather small and finely detailed but also obscured by his cultist hat. I think the rest of the mini makes up for that though, so I'm pretty pleased with him. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

    A nimble Urkin

Presenting Nimble, another member of the gang of Urkins that make up the bulk of the Dickensian faction from the game Twisted. He's got a pretty bad mold-line on his bare foot that I just couldn't get to, luckily it's hard to see. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

    Gentlefolk Highwaywoman

Presenting the Gentlefolk Highwaywoman from the Servants of the Engine faction in the game Twisted. Originally a robotic housemaid, she gained self-awareness and now robs from the rich to keep herself fuelled. A lot of fun to paint but I think I was a bit messy in places. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

    Sowerberry

Presenting Sowerberry, the ghostly undertaker of the Dickensian faction from the game Twisted. Had a lot of fun painting him, particularly all his clocks, but I don't think I'll bother making any more stamped greenstuff bases, I just can't get them looking even semi-decent. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.
  8. Presenting Porker and Library Owl:- Porker:- Library Owl:- A pair of Urkins who are part of the Dickensian faction of the game Twisted, they're also in my Steampunk People WIP thread. They were a lot of fun to paint, which is good because I have quite a few more to do! As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

    Witch-hunter Gretel

Presenting Gretel (and her monkey Hansel) a revenge-seeking witch-hunter and part of the Servants of the Engine faction from the game Twisted. She can also be found in my Steampunk People WIP thread. Super happy with how this one turned out, particularly little Hansel! As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

    Gentlefolk Blacksmith

Presenting the Gentlefolk Blacksmith, a heavy-hitting Servant of the Engine from the game Twisted. He's part of my Steampunk People WIP thread. Been looking forward to painting this one for ages (mainly because he resembles Tick-Tock from Return to Oz, that's also why he's mostly bronze). Unfortunately, I did attach his chimney a little skewed, but I think I'm liking how it looks. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

    Steampunk People Part 1

Was going to be good and get some half-painted stuff finished, but I couldn't resist the steam-powered siren song of my Twisted minis. Since I'm going to be working on these for the foreseeable future, I thought I'd WIP them in batches:- In this first batch, you've got two Urkins (Porker and Bookworm) at the front and (from left to right) Sowerberry, Gentlefolk Blacksmith and Gretel at the back. Starting with the Blacksmith, not pictured - his chimney backpack. So far I've basecoated his body in Bronze and given it a Brownshade Wash. Next time, I go crazy with a drybrush.

    Bill Sykes and Bullseye

Presenting Bill Sykes (and Bullseye!), leader of the Dickensian faction from the game Twisted. Going back to painting true-scale minis, and rather detailed ones at that, proved harder than I thought it would, but I think I did a decent job. I just wish my varnish hadn't left Bills coat so shiny. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.
  13. Been looking forward to working on some more Twisted minis for a long time (basically ever since I crushed Nightingale trying to assemble her, and realized I was just too clumsy to work with fragile resin minis any more), I'm starting with Bill Sykes and Bullseye:- Weren't as hard to assemble as I feared they might be, just letting the primer dry overnight and I can start painting!
