    Giant

Anyone backing Giant by RBJ company? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1620164718/giant-0?ref=discovery I've backed a few of their kickstarters and they communicate clearly and deliver on time. This one looks like one I'd enjoy save for the lack of funds on my side. May still try to throw a few support $$ at it though.
  2. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/grimandperilous/main-gauche-a-zweihander-grim-and-perilous-rpg-sup/description I know there are plenty of RPG players on the board, and Zweihander just won ENnies for Best Game and Product of the Year at Gen Con. I missed the first campaign, but strongly considering jumping in on this one.
  3. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/darcyperry/dungeons-of-doom-v-law-vs-chaos-star-hat-miniature In case anyone is looking. Some fun ones in here.
  4. I really enjoyed a previous project (Half-Cat, though hampered by problems with Chinese printers). This one is live, and finished in 6 days. Some seriously short flash fiction postcards. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rockpapercynic/postcards-from-impossible-worlds-the-shortest-stor
  5. The City that Dripped Blood An Adventure for Fifth Edition and Swords & Wizardry! Frog God Games is proud to announce The City that Dripped Blood, the first in a four part series centered in and around the city Temelpa. This mid-level adventure is written by D & D Legend Steve Winter, whose credits include over 30 years of best selling games, adventures, and supplements for some of the most popular RPG companies in the industry. He has played a part in many of the most beloved titles from Star Frontiers to the Fifth Edition rule books. He was a contributor most recently to the Frog God Games' Quests of Doom 4 series. Steve's incredible legacy and experience in the RPG world makes The City that Dripped Blood a perfect Indiegogo project debut title. Overview Temelpa, an ancient walled city on a forgotten trade route, thought to be abandoned ages ago, and now, the adventurers find themselves besieged within. Unable to leave their refuge, the adventurers will quickly discover the city is inhabited, not deserted as initially believed, by an ancient society. They will soon be embroiled in the affairs of a twisted caste system built on servitude and cannibalism and headed by an inter-dimensional vampiric overlord. This open-ended adventure allows the GM to unleash an array of unique monsters, factional power struggles, and intriguing plots upon the characters as they fight and scheme to stay alive, entrapped in a hostile city where they are viewed as useful pawns or a tasty exotic meal. Can the characters hold out until the siege is broken and escape with their lives? Will they champion the cause of the downtrodden and upend the social order? Or will they be the main course for the next cannibalistic feast? Welcome to the City! The Adventure The City That Dripped Blood - available in either Fifth Edition or Swords & Wizardry versions, is an adventure for mid-level characters inside you will find- New creatures and new variants NPC Cultists and unusual citizens are spread across various districts and factions. All under the shadow of the two ziggurats which stand menacing guard over the decrepit. desert city where the player characters begin. Options for and potential hooks are provided, but the design lends itself to modifications, GM tailored for their ongoing campaigns. The Tiny Print Run Why Indiegogo? Frog God Games is testing a new approach with the launch of this project- almost the inverse of how we design our crowdfunding projects on Kickstarter. We call it the 'Tiny Print Run'. Thus, Indiegogo projects by Frog God Games will- Be short in duration Be limited to a single title Have options priced between $5-$30 Have simple fulfillment process that does not use Backerkit Since 2012 our crowdfunding approach has been extravagant in every way. Ambitious with massive page counts, plus numerous add-on options and stretch goals. All supporting a primary title itself as many as 990 pages. This has resulted in Kickstarter's with memorable pledge rewards that include top-quality hardcover books with sometimes dozens of stretch goal bonuses and add-on extras. These are awesome AND they are expensive. Is Frog God Games giving up on Kickstarter? No. Far from it, in fact these smaller projects are happening in response to the feedback we have heard from both fans and 'almost' fans alike. We hear the request for less expensive options for our projects and products all the time. A second frequent desire expressed to us, whether at conventions, on social media or in email, is for a larger selection of smaller, faster-paced adventures that can be completed in 2-3 sessions and not necessitate a full two year campaign. Additionally, Frog God Games has grown in both sales and audience awareness. This opportunity will give us the additional resources to invest in the very best books in all of our formats. Thus we have launched the first of, what we hope are frequent, 'Tiny Print Run' campaigns on Indiegogo. Project Reward With the wishes of the fans in mind, this and future Indiegogo projects will fund standalone projects that are both affordable and fun. This project, as well future Tiny Print Run projects, is narrowly focused. This meansThe City that Dripped Blood will only have two reward options- 1. A softcover, full-color copy of The City that Dripped Blood which is at least 24 pages long and includes the PDF version or 2. The City that Dripped Blood in PDF There will be no paid add-on options and all additional funds raised focus on making the highest quality module the funding can buy. Supporters will select a rules system when they make the reward selection. For City that Dripped Blood that is a choice between Fifth Edition or Swords & Wizardry (other systems or system agnostic content is possible with future projects). As of the project launch The City that Dripped Blood manuscript is complete for Fifth Edition. It is currently being edited and converted to Swords & Wizardry. The module will be published, what is unknown is how much we raise to improve this release for everyone. What more supporters will mean for the project The level of quality we want to bring to The City of Dripped Blood is, at a minimum, similar softcover releases from larger companies. An example of this is a Wizards of the Coast Adventurer's League softcover. We have the potential to do even better and that is what 18 days will be focused on. The best way surpass our quality goal for every supporter (PDF only and/or Print and PDF) is- Commission more art from top artists Create more cartography pieces/offer more mapping resources Create PDF player handouts like creature cards or treasure maps Other options that are cutting edge and unique which only funding makes possible The first and most important is to invest in top-quality, custom color art beginning with the cover. At Frog God we have a dedicated gentleman named Casey Christofferson whose job it is to procure great art. His only constraint is his budget, which is were supporters like you come in. The biggest milestone will be upgrading from a planned half-page illustration to a full-page color cover by a top artist similar to the examples above. After we have enough funding for the cover we will add additional internal art pieces (possibly full page). Softcover Specific Goals The best paper we can afford. Glossy durable pages that showcase the art as it deserves. A thick, glossy cover stock Maps/charts/tables reprinted on the interior covers for reference (duplex cover printing) Signed copies and a few really special options if the funding really takes off NOTE ON AVAILABILITY: The softcover is likely to be a single print run. The number of units we print will be determined by how many supporters choose the The City of Dripped Blood softcover. We have no plans to offer the softcover for general sale after this project ends, so this is the best way to guarantee a copy for yourself in print. Shipping and Distribution Shipping is simple for those who select the a softcover copy of The City of Dripped Blood. Softcover Shipping $5 shipping fee will be added upon checkout for supporters in the United States. $15 shipping fee will be added upon checkout for supporters in the European Union, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. The PDF that comes with the softcover option will be fulfilled as outlined below. PDF Distribution The digital copies will be fulfilled using the Frog God Games Website. There will be no pledge manager so once the book or PDF is ready we will fulfill using contact information from Indiegogo. Link to project!
  6. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1858050352/slightly-damneds-bookification-project About Whatchu Doin'!? Slightly Damned is a webcomic that debuted in 2004 and can be read for free (always!) at sdamned.com! It is the story of Rhea Snaketail, a girl killed through mysterious circumstances, and her adventures through the afterlife and beyond. She befriends a Demon named Buwaro and an Angel named Kieri, and together they travel the world, seeking lost family and uncovering the secrets of an ancient war. Slightly Damned won two Ursa Major Awards in 2012 and two more 2013, namely for "Best Graphic Story" and "Best Other Literary Work". In 2014 there was a successful Kickstarter campaign to manufacture plush dolls based on the comic's leads. However, this campaign is all about the comic! Specifically, printing the books! With your support, we will be taking our first step towards producing print volumes of Slightly Damned. It's time to get those comics out of cyberspace and onto some ink and paper! Tell me about these books! Slightly Damned: Book One contains original comic pages #1 through #187, re-lettered and proofread by, not one, but two editors for maximum grammatical accuracy. The comic pages have not been altered in order to preserve the original story, aside from some minor formatting for the book. This book is also chock full of brand new artwork that cannot be found anywhere else! New Artwork? Like what? Slightly Damned: Book One contains the following new art: Both chapters have a new cover - (The old covers will still be included in the back of the book.) There's an exclusive 4-page bonus comic! New gag strips! And a select number of redrawn pages! Not only that, but depending on your pledge, you can even get rewards with the book. Some rewards allow backers to add personalized content to the book, such as scripted gag comics and nominating an old comic page to be redrawn! Gimme some rewards! Here are the reward tiers, and the rewards associated to each tier! The physical rewards include the softcover book, a double-sided bookmark, a signed bookplate to personalize your book, a stickers sheet, a set of 4 prints, and penciled original page. Since the original pencils to each Slightly Damned page are one-of-a-kind items, some pages are unavailable due to being previously sold or lost over the years. Many of the higher rewards allow backers to contribute to the book, by scripting or suggesting a gag script or by selecting a page to be re-drawn. All backers are included in the Thank You pages! Show me those stretch goals! There's only one stretch goal. If this Kickstarter reaches $35,000, then I'll have the funds to print Slightly Damned: Book Two! And get this, it will come with its own set of brand new bonus material!! Just like book 1, this includes re-drawn covers, an exclusive bonus comic and gag strips, as well as a new bookmark and some digital wallpapers! If we reach this stretch goal, backers will be able to select tiers to add book 2 to their order. Say... Weren't there already Slightly Damned books? Yes. For a couple of years, I used a print-on-demand service to produce copies of Slightly Damned: Book One, Book Two, and Book Three. I sold them online and at conventions. Each Slightly Damned book was well over 200 or 300 pages in full color, and unfortunately, the service I used was ill-suited for making books of that size. The cover stock was too thin, the binding was too weak, and the books often came with errors. After a while, I decided to discontinue selling those versions The books that will be made through this campaign will be of higher quality, and due to the printing method (offset rather than print-on-demand), will cost less than the first editions. Not only that, but I've worked hard to include TONS of bonus material to make these volumes as definitive as they can be. So if you've already got one of those first edition copies, I hope you'll find it in your heart to pledge towards this new and improved version! (Yes, those are legally distinct first edition copies with a different ISBN and everything.) Even if you don't want it for yourself, it'd make a great gift to a friend who needs a new webcomic addiction, or donation to your local library! And if you still don't want a physical copy of the new edition, you can still get access to all of the brand-new bonus material and help fund the print run by pledging $5 for the PDF! Thank you for your support! Risks and challenges Even though my last campaign met its goal and everyone got what they pledged for, it was a bumpy road. It was certainly a learning experience for someone who decided to take on their first Kickstarter campaign solo! Too many tiers, too many rewards of various sizes, and being blindsided by expensive shipping costs resulted in a load of complications, even though it eventually worked out in the end. This time, however, I'm backed by the experience of Hiveworks (hiveworkscomics.com)! They have been working with me every step of the way to make sure this campaign gets off on the right foot, and they'll be helping me make sure everything is printed and shipped on time and within our budget. We also made sure that all the rewards were either digital or easy to ship. And aside from the backer-created content, I've already designed pretty much all of the material that needs to be printed! Getting these books printed will be a bit of a challenge due to the comic's age and the fact that several supporters already have the first editions. I can only hope that the comic has gained enough new readers, and that past supporters are generous enough, in order to reach the campaign goal. In order to ensure a certain standard of quality and consistency, I want to get the Slightly Damned archive printed in order before getting to the material that's never been in a book before. And lastly... I've been an online presence for well over a decade now. Honesty is my number one policy, and I've never broken a deal, no matter how small. Even when things go wrong, I have striven to be as transparent as possible so that no one is left in the dark. I always deliver. That's why Slightly Damned has lasted for as long as it has! Well, that, and the infinite patience of my friends, family, and readers like you!

    Legends of Signum

<<<MOD EDIT>>> Kickstarter is now Live: Legends of Signum is a 2 players fantasy world wargame, where players will face off against each other in the ruthless battles with help of the summoned characters and creatures. Each new game is unique as the player will have an ability to counter his opponents tactics with a help of highly variable decks, which player can assemble before the match. While the heroes busy fighting one another out on the battlefield, their loyal city dwellers are busy constructing new buildings that unlock new spells, abilities, and characters to aid their heroes in the victory. What also makes Legends of Signum highly unique in and of itself is that we combined best of both card and miniature wargame worlds into one highly immersive gameplay experience. From the very start, we set out to create a beginner-friendly game and so in the process of developing the game we did our best in avoiding complicated game mechanics that you would normally expect in a miniature wargame, yet still gave players vast variety of tactical options. Legends of Signum is a unique combination of a miniatures wargame and a card game. Players control units of creatures lead by mighty heroes and build structures that allow more characters, relics and magic spells to be used on the battlefield. In Legends of Signum you devise your own winning strategy by creating an exclusive deck of cards and collection of miniatures. Legends of Signum is a game for two, where each player controls a hero and a group of characters and builds up their capital city. Initially only the hero figures are present on the battlefield, but as the game progresses, additional characters can be brought in by building the necessary structures. Victory is achieved by either destroying the opponent or bringing your capital city to prosperity. Duration of one game is about 30 to 90 minutes. These are the guys who run the Cadwallon Shop. They used to sell Confrontation recasts. They have stopped as discussed in the Confrontation Resurrection kickstarter thread. Legends of Signum are their own sculpts and their own game. The pictures are of stuff already available and I am not sure if they will be included in the kickstarter. I posted them so you can get an idea of what will be offered.

    Pirates of Treasure Island

Arr... https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/656177818/pirates-of-treasure-island About DEAD MAN'S CHEST Squire Olsen, Dr. Edwards, and the rest of the EOE gentlemen having asked me to help promote the whole particulars about this Treasure Island Kickstarter, from the beginning to the end, keeping nothing back but the bearings of the Casting Room, and that, only because there is still castings not yet purchased, I take up my pen in the hope of being paid by John in the year of grace 2018, and go back to the time when John first presented his plan for this Kickstarter and the stained old Salesman with the sabre cut first took up his lodging in the EOE Office. I remember him looking over his desk and whistling to himself, then breaking out in that old Casting Room Pirate Song: “Fifteen men of a dead man's chest, Yo ho ho and a Pirate Kickstarter, Drink and the devil had done for the rest, Yo ho ho and a Pirate Kickstarter” The first 4 sets include all the named Characters from the book. THE TOUGHEST OLD SALTS The 5th Set includes the Characters in the book that were not named. I have taken the liberty of calling them The Toughest Old Salts. "We got together in a few days a company of the toughest old salts imaginable--not pretty to look at, but fellows, by their faces, of the most indomitable spirit.” THE BLACK SPOT DEAL "...But what is the Black Spot Deal, John?", I asked. "It's a Rare Deal, Mate. People keep their weather eye open for such deals, then buy them on their honor. People who is smart as paint is likely to lose their dead lights if they don't see how good this deal be. A collection of the finest Pirate's Pewter. 30 Dirty Scoundrels, Monkeys, Artillery, Barrels & Treasure Chests and even Captain Flint himself" Why are you talking like this John? "Yarrr, I dunno" he replied All miniatures 28mm scale and are cast in fine Pewter. Miniatures are supplied unpainted and a few require a little assembly. Risks and challenges The Major challenge is time Most of the design work has been done eliminating the lion's share of work needed for pre-production. We are working with Fortress Figures to do the Molding and initial casting. Jeff and Ben are highly decorated Veterans of the Kickstarter industry and have over a hundred successful Kickstarters under their belts! I am very confident that we will meet all deadlines in plenty of time.

    Magic Description Cards Kickstarter

Hey fellow Reaper mini lovers, here's some info about my kickstarter. bit.ly/mdcdecks In many tabletop Roleplaying games (D&D, Pathfinder, Dungeonworld, etc.) magic doesn’t always have the mystique it deserves. The magic systems are designed to work but not designed to add to the amazing story you are telling. This is mostly because there are only a certain number of spells, and experienced players can recognize them instantly. One could say, once you have seen one magic missile, they have seen them all. Or when they know what one Enchanter could do, they know what all Enchanters could do. Wielders of the Mighty Arcane cease to be men of mystery and become instead merely different levels of pointy hat artillery. Of course, This issue is even worse at lower levels, where there are fewer options. Players will not respect such NPC unless GMs can recreate a sense of mystery and drama. This is one of the issues MAGIC DESCRIPTION CARDS solves. bit.ly/mdcdecks
  16. Link: http://kck.st/2JEME8c Playmats.Eu isn't a new name for many gamers. They've been supplying playmats, 2D terrain and even some 3D accessories to retail customers worldwide and even provided components for a few successful Kickstarters. Now they've launched a campaign for Resinarium Bridges - a new product line of exclusive, hand painted bridges for wargames. With the new brand, they hope to provide customers with high-end 3D terrain: the sculpts are detailed and made of resin, and they come hand-painted out of the box (though there is an option to buy a plain resin cast too, if you fancy painting them yourself). Anyone looking for a nice-looking tactical chokepoint for their battles, can back their Kickstarter to bring the new line to life. You can see the campaign for yourself here: http://kck.st/2JEME8c If it sounds like something up your alley don't wait too long - in the first 48 hours of the campaign, every backer gets one of their modular rivers (with an anti-slip foam base) for free. You can currently choose from four models: Wooden, Stone, Orcish Wooden and Orcish Stone. The first two fit pretty much any heroic-scale game, while the latter work great in fantasy settings. More bridges, including an Elven one and a Sci Fi one, are planned if Stretch Goals are met. In a rather nice twist, you don't have to make a decision on the Bridge model(s) the moment you pledge. You will choose which models you'd like to receive after the campaign ends, in the Pledge Manager. Let me know your thoughts!
  17. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/674003445/fantasy-football-ogres-halflings-and-female-norse About WHAT IS THIS KICKSTARTER ABOUT? To produce three new resin 32mm scale fantasy football complete teams along with the DeathChariot. This KickStarter is a joint venture between Rolljordan Miniatures, Heresy Miniatures and Impact! Miniatures to bring three incredible looking metal Fantasy Football teams into affordable resin for about half the price of the metal teams to give more gamers the opportunity to own these great models. The miniatures in the teams are the new resin that Impact! started using this month that has good flexibility while still being able to filed. The resin is to be painted as easily (both brush and spray primers can work). The miniatures all come with bases and are provided unpainted. The miniatures will require light clean up and assembly. Impact! Miniatures has created several KickStarters and delivered to all backers on all our previous KickStarters so bid with confidence. I know for many coaches I talk to that making sure a new team fits in with the current 32mm scale is very important. All 3 of the new teams fit very well with the 32mm scale. From left to right, Norse Ice Trolless, Norse Thrower, Human Lineman, Kalle Imp, Heresy Ogre, Legio Halfling and Legio Treeman. another Impact! fantasy football KS, they're nice and reliable so if you want any of the stuff back with confidence

    Dreamhearth

One of my favorite authors have a new KS project... Because there just ain't enough slice of life or baking in modern Sci-Fi books... About Years ago I wrote a science fiction story about two forever-friends, unlike in almost every way--species, backgrounds, temperaments, orientations--and how they came together in a relationship that would last through every tribulation, including an intergalactic war. When readers asked me how they met, I wrote their college story. When readers asked me what happened next, I wrote how they began their xenotherapy practice. I'm still writing about them, in fact, because they are, bar none, my readers' best loved couple. Their names are Jahir and Vasiht'h, and they are dreamhealers. Some people call their story an asexual romance, but whether you go for that or prefer 'forever besties', these stories are about growing up, making choices, figuring out relationships, deciding on what your life means--or should--and baking. A lot of baking. They are cozy slice-of-life novels, and there aren't a lot of novels like them in science fiction. If cups of tea are your cup of tea, you might enjoy checking out Book 1 and 2 respectively. There's an e-book reward tier; you can choose one of them! This Kickstarter in particular is to fund the print edition for Book 3, Dreamhearth, and possibly Books 4 and 5, Dreamstorm and Family, if we hit our stretch goals. I love space ships and aliens and epic war sagas. But science fiction has room for quieter stories about what you want to be when you grow up, and the thorny personal challenges of day-to-day life. If you also love spaceships and aliens but want a moment's respite... you might have come to the right place. Stretch Goals We've got plenty to look forward to this time, including the opportunity for two more paperbacks! Bookmark 1. At $750, we'll get Jahir bookmarks! Every print backer will get one! Dreamstorm paperback. At $1000, we'll hit the Dreamstorm stretch goal, opening new tiers! Bookmark 2. At $1500, we'll get the Vasiht'h bookmarks! All print backers will get both bookmarks! Family paperback. At $2000, we'll do a print edition of the final book in the series, Family, opening Yet More Tiers! Risks and challenges As much as possible I've streamlined this one so it takes very little by way of work. I've gotten very good at packing and shipping things! I think the biggest risks are: 1. I get hyper and start throwing in prizes and things that I shouldn't because I like running myself to ragged shreds doing stuff; 2. I get too perfectionist about the things and fuss them to death over millimeter differences in whitespace only I am going to care about. I think I'll be able to handle #2 since I've done OVER NINE THOUSAND of these Kickstarters. It's #1 you all are going to have to help me with. Sit on me if I start gibbering about something that sounds impossible, please?
  22. I always liked the Idea of a KS for a complete RP module, minis, terrain and all. FOI is a nice company.

    Tang Garden

About The Tang dynasty was considered the first golden age of the classical and now iconic Chinese gardens. Emperor Xuanzong built the magnificent imperial Garden of the Majestic Clear Lake as an homage of life itself. Tang Garden is a Zen-like game that will take you to the first golden age of China, where players will progressively build a garden by creating the landscape, placing the scenery and projecting their vision through vertical panoramas. During the construction, noblemen will visit the garden to admire the surroundings and the way the natural elements coexist in the most breathtaking scenery humankind has ever laid their eyes upon.
  24. There's only a few days left in this KS, but I just realized that there's no thread for it here, and it looks like a great game. There's nothing in it to paint, but I know that a lot of people here are role-players, so I'm sure more than a few are interested in Shadowrun. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/450703636/shadowrun-sprawl-ops-boardgame/posts/2211021 (A 5-6 Player expansion and a Co-op Expansion are also available.)
