These guys tried a kickstarter a few months ago for some dwarves that failed to find. They ended up releasing most of them retail. I got quite a few. The sculpts are top notch and so is the casting. Looks like these are all sculpted by some familiar faces, Jason Wiebe, Patrick Keith and Bobby Jackson. Not it sure if I’ll back yet, but I’m interested for sure.

    Elven Miniatures for RPGs

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/568025447/elven-miniatures-for-rpg-gamers-and-collectors?ref=user_menu About The Project Hello guys, firstly thanks for checking out my project, I really do appreciate your time! I am funding today for the 3D printing, master molding and production molding of the Thaumaturge bust along with production molds for the 35mm and 75mm scale miniatures. The prints and resin masters for the 35mm and 75mm have already been funded through my savings, below is an example of the resin casts and an example paint job by yours truly, note, I do not concider myself a great painter by any means but I cannot afford to pay a professional currently! I do hope though it gives an idea of what the finished miniature could look like. *All miniatures will be supplied unpainted and require minor assembly. These 3 miniatures are the first step in turning my vision into a reality and will help support the development of further miniatures and ultimately bring a new game to the tabletop. As an individual this is going to be a struggle - I have no foothold in the industry, I do not have the backing of a large established company or access to mainstream financial lending. I am undertaking as much of the process as I can up to the point of the physical 3D printing and resin production process which will be handled by a well known and highly respected bunch of chaps here in the UK. Thank you again for taking your time to check out my project, please feel free to ask me any questions either through Kickstarter or via instagram; @thronedowngames :) One figure. She is available in 35mm, 75mm and as a bust. They 35mm and 75mm look to be different poses. The Pledges Level 1: 35mm plus 25% lifetime brand discount* - £9.00 Level 2: 75mm OR Bust plus 25% lifetime brand discount* - £24.00 Level 3: 35mm + 75mm OR Bust plus 25% lifetime brand discount* - £31.00 Level 4: 35mm + 75mm AND Bust plus 25% lifetime brand discount* - £48.00 Reading through, the minis are being produced for him by Zealot miniatures.
  3. Hi Everyone, I've been working on a small range of sci-fi buildings that can be 3D printed and will be making the Kickstarter active soon (hopefully tomorrow). They were sculpted at 15mm scale, but can be rescaled for any game size from 2mm on up. Several of the buildings have modular sections so you can make them in different sizes. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1555279928/3d-printable-sci-fi-buildings-for-tabletop-wargame?ref=creator_nav
  4. We launched our Kickstarter! Sharp Tails is a Fantasy Football team in 28mm. All miniatures are high-quality and hand sculpted. We developed it special for the game by using more flexible resin cast. You can also get a custom mat-pitch, exclusive box, and already painted team BUY https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2126421571/sharp-tails-team-for-fantasy-football-by-scalebro
  5. "Hear ye, hear ye! Introducing Townsfolke 2: the Free Folke, a sequel to the original Townsfolke campaign that was funded in 2018. This time around we've got civilian/NPC miniatures from the varied fantasy races to help diversify your RPG/wargaming experience." https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/292543184/townsfolke-2-the-free-folke
  6. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1858050352/slightly-damneds-bookification-project About Whatchu Doin'!? Slightly Damned is a webcomic that debuted in 2004 and can be read for free (always!) at sdamned.com! It is the story of Rhea Snaketail, a girl killed through mysterious circumstances, and her adventures through the afterlife and beyond. She befriends a Demon named Buwaro and an Angel named Kieri, and together they travel the world, seeking lost family and uncovering the secrets of an ancient war. Slightly Damned won two Ursa Major Awards in 2012 and two more 2013, namely for "Best Graphic Story" and "Best Other Literary Work". In 2014 there was a successful Kickstarter campaign to manufacture plush dolls based on the comic's leads. However, this campaign is all about the comic! Specifically, printing the books! With your support, we will be taking our first step towards producing print volumes of Slightly Damned. It's time to get those comics out of cyberspace and onto some ink and paper! Tell me about these books! Slightly Damned: Book One contains original comic pages #1 through #187, re-lettered and proofread by, not one, but two editors for maximum grammatical accuracy. The comic pages have not been altered in order to preserve the original story, aside from some minor formatting for the book. This book is also chock full of brand new artwork that cannot be found anywhere else! New Artwork? Like what? Slightly Damned: Book One contains the following new art: Both chapters have a new cover - (The old covers will still be included in the back of the book.) There's an exclusive 4-page bonus comic! New gag strips! And a select number of redrawn pages! Not only that, but depending on your pledge, you can even get rewards with the book. Some rewards allow backers to add personalized content to the book, such as scripted gag comics and nominating an old comic page to be redrawn! Gimme some rewards! Here are the reward tiers, and the rewards associated to each tier! The physical rewards include the softcover book, a double-sided bookmark, a signed bookplate to personalize your book, a stickers sheet, a set of 4 prints, and penciled original page. Since the original pencils to each Slightly Damned page are one-of-a-kind items, some pages are unavailable due to being previously sold or lost over the years. Many of the higher rewards allow backers to contribute to the book, by scripting or suggesting a gag script or by selecting a page to be re-drawn. All backers are included in the Thank You pages! Show me those stretch goals! There's only one stretch goal. If this Kickstarter reaches $35,000, then I'll have the funds to print Slightly Damned: Book Two! And get this, it will come with its own set of brand new bonus material!! Just like book 1, this includes re-drawn covers, an exclusive bonus comic and gag strips, as well as a new bookmark and some digital wallpapers! If we reach this stretch goal, backers will be able to select tiers to add book 2 to their order. Say... Weren't there already Slightly Damned books? Yes. For a couple of years, I used a print-on-demand service to produce copies of Slightly Damned: Book One, Book Two, and Book Three. I sold them online and at conventions. Each Slightly Damned book was well over 200 or 300 pages in full color, and unfortunately, the service I used was ill-suited for making books of that size. The cover stock was too thin, the binding was too weak, and the books often came with errors. After a while, I decided to discontinue selling those versions The books that will be made through this campaign will be of higher quality, and due to the printing method (offset rather than print-on-demand), will cost less than the first editions. Not only that, but I've worked hard to include TONS of bonus material to make these volumes as definitive as they can be. So if you've already got one of those first edition copies, I hope you'll find it in your heart to pledge towards this new and improved version! (Yes, those are legally distinct first edition copies with a different ISBN and everything.) Even if you don't want it for yourself, it'd make a great gift to a friend who needs a new webcomic addiction, or donation to your local library! And if you still don't want a physical copy of the new edition, you can still get access to all of the brand-new bonus material and help fund the print run by pledging $5 for the PDF! Thank you for your support! Risks and challenges Even though my last campaign met its goal and everyone got what they pledged for, it was a bumpy road. It was certainly a learning experience for someone who decided to take on their first Kickstarter campaign solo! Too many tiers, too many rewards of various sizes, and being blindsided by expensive shipping costs resulted in a load of complications, even though it eventually worked out in the end. This time, however, I'm backed by the experience of Hiveworks (hiveworkscomics.com)! They have been working with me every step of the way to make sure this campaign gets off on the right foot, and they'll be helping me make sure everything is printed and shipped on time and within our budget. We also made sure that all the rewards were either digital or easy to ship. And aside from the backer-created content, I've already designed pretty much all of the material that needs to be printed! Getting these books printed will be a bit of a challenge due to the comic's age and the fact that several supporters already have the first editions. I can only hope that the comic has gained enough new readers, and that past supporters are generous enough, in order to reach the campaign goal. In order to ensure a certain standard of quality and consistency, I want to get the Slightly Damned archive printed in order before getting to the material that's never been in a book before. And lastly... I've been an online presence for well over a decade now. Honesty is my number one policy, and I've never broken a deal, no matter how small. Even when things go wrong, I have striven to be as transparent as possible so that no one is left in the dark. I always deliver. That's why Slightly Damned has lasted for as long as it has! Well, that, and the infinite patience of my friends, family, and readers like you!

    Artificial Incident Book One

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1696155462/artificial-incident-book-one?ref=user_menu About Hey folks. How do I pitch this? I guess I can start with a little bit about myself. I've been doing webcomics since the end of 2003. Back then I started a little webcomic I called Yosh!(because I was a total weeb). Now here we are, 15 years later… and I’m still doing 3 Yosh!comics every week. There are over 2000 comics on Yosh! Problem is, Yosh!, while fun, isn't the only idea running around in my head waiting for when I feel skilled enough to take on a bigger challenge. There's a bunch of projects I want to do. Almost 3 years ago, I started working on one of those other ideas. That comic series is called Artificial Incident. Artificial Incident is a project I fell in love with as soon as I figured out that it already had a known Genre. Yosh! fell into the "Slice of life" category even though very little of it fell into everyday life, but because there really wasn't a better fit for it, it was categorized as that. AI, on the other hand, was RPG Literature, or for the weebs, an Isekai (Yep, 15 years later, still a weeb). Allow me to explain my passion, or skip this paragraph. I love stories that take a person and throws them into a familiar yet alien world. Stories like The Wizard of Oz, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, and yes, even Captain N the Game Masters (Actually I was more a fan of the Dungeons and Dragons animated series but anyways). I enjoyed these stories because I saw so much potential and a simple connection. Most people can put themselves in the shoes of the person thrust into this strange situation. They can think about what they would do and how they would react. This creates an instant connection to the protagonist of the story. Then there's the shear number of familiar yet different things you can do leading to near limitless potential, while not being so alien that people have trouble understanding it. It's a perfect storm of unique and familiar attributes. So, what Is Artificial Incident? It's the story of a character that not only gets pulled into a video game, but has the memories of that character as if they actually lived their life within the game. This caused many of the character's original memories to be overwritten, but not all of them. They're not alone in this game though. The story focuses on the main characters and the mysteries that unfold from the world. This includes everything from the NPCs, to a massive change in the economy and civilizations of the world, to even other Player Characters... from entirely different games. What makes AI different from other similar stories? This comic has many unique traits, but the thing that frustrates me the most about many current similar stories is their lack of actually showing why things are the way they are. So many mysteries and concepts are never explored. AI is written to explore these changes and work to discover the reasons behind them rather than just accepting things "just because".
  8. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1514638599/dragon-lords-grenadier-new-edition?ref=discovery_category_newest About The Mirliton company, born from a hobby of the owner and founder Grazzini Stefano, produces historical miniatures since 1983 in the 15, 20 and 28 mm scales. In 2003 there was a turning point; it had the opportunity to buy from the bankruptcy of the Nemo company in Milan, most of the master molds and production molds with the relative rights of the American company Grenadier Models. After the successful Netflix television series "Stranger Things" set in the 80s, there were many requests from fans and 40-year-old players, who played with the same miniatures that were seen in the film, first of all the beautiful miniature of the Demogorgon and then again, of the Mind Lord. I had already cast the Demogorgon miniature there, in a box, probably coming from the same mold from which the miniature of our characters was cast. Then after the film I did not know yet, questions began to arrive if by chance the Demogorgon was not in our molds. I decided then that it was time to re cast it. Behind the wake of the Demogorgone and the Dungeon & Dragons game played by the protagonists of the hit series, it seems that an interest in the old miniatures has reignited, say "Vintage" that have an unparalleled charm even compared to the type of sculpture, which pradoxically, for a world of fantasy, however, is closer to the reality of the style of the models sculpted today, with a decidedly more Gothic style. Our project is therefore to reprint all the old series of the company Grenadier Models, starting from the best known Dragon Lords. The work was and is titanic, because we had to do a detailed research, looking for all the molds of the masters where these miniatures were found. It goes back to the early days of the glorious Grenadier, when the miniatures were still part of even older series, Wizzard and Warriors, Gamma World, Pinnacle, Andrew Chernack personality, in short a work of archeology of miniature. The work was hard, but we did it. Last year, many of you supported us in our first kickstarter that saw the first series of Dragon Lords brought back to life with the boxes 2001-2002-2003-5001 and 5002. The initiative was a great success for us. Now we are going back to where we left off, and so we are going to recreate other boxes of the series dragon lords, we are talking about the packages 2004-2005-2006-2007 and 5003, which will be well known to the most experienced of you. Even the dress of the boxes has been recreated in the style of the old series of Dragon Lords. We are sure that collectors will be a real boon!! The production of our miniatures are the result of years of experience, each of these old series has been researched in the original molds to create new prototypes, these old masters have sometimes required restorations and careful manual cleaning. All this to create new production molds, in order to provide you with the best possible quality. Every metal miniature we made is always carefully treated, from prototyping to packaging! Our miniatures are ideal for your role-playing games, or as alternative miniatures in many table games, or for wargame or skirmish games (do not forget to visit our site where you can find many other articles). But above all our miniatures are fantastic to be painted and collected!
  9. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/968660672/towers-0?ref=discovery_category_newest About PLAY Hi all, this time I propose you these three towers, are modular without glue. The files are scaled for miniatures of 28 mm but you can scale them as you want, the towers are also playable inside. I highly recommend the use of printers with a print bed of 20x20x20 cm (for this scale). The models below are made in Pla, layers 0,2, filling 5% and without supports (except in a couple of cases with overhang setting at 80 ° touching build plate options), the printer used is an Ender 3. ***** You will only receive the files to print not the physical models *****
  10. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cmon/munchkin-dungeon/posts/2400492 Couldn't find a post on this... Minis look cool, in keeping with Kovalic's art, and the feel is right. Just not sure I need a mini-based version of Munchkin on top of the few I already have. Price seems reasonable though it is another CMON project and I'm still waiting for "Zombicide in Space", a project on which there has been very little communication.
  11. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/greebo-games/cutiemals-northern-clans About THIS CAMPAIGN WILL STARTS FROM MARCH 05th 22:00 CET Depending on the amount of orders received for each project, delivery dates might vary. The initial shipment dates indicated are not final, and even though we're committed to giving all our customers the best service we can, sometimes the amount of orders received might make the final shipment date vary compared to our initial estimates. Please keep this possibility in mind before placing your order. Regarding both the bundles and the stretch goals described above, no swaps of model of any kind are allowed. Therefore, please don’t ask us to swap any stretch goal with other add-ons or any perk models with other miniatures, because that cannot be done. We created something for those who like to not take themselves too seriously, for those who would like to relax while painting - with less details, but by no means not enough of them - for those who love their minis with a side dose of cuteness overload and, finally, for those who might have children to introduce to miniature gaming, by giving all of these people something that players will love (or hate, as the case may be) no matter their age! Wait a minute… delivery estimated after only a month after the campaign ends? A Greebo campaign?! Oh yes, and here’s why: because we’ve started production already! We’re convinced that we can reach the campaign goal, at the least, and that’s why we started the manufacturing process of everything. Therefore, the second you complete your Pledge Manager (let us remind all of you, if you don’t complete it, there will be no shipment, so do it!) your package will be processed and sent, just like that. We want to open and close this campaign in record time, and we’re confident that we can do it! bunnies, cats and pigs too!
  12. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dryadgaming/the-dryad-dice-chamber-and-dryad-essential-chamber I backed his last project (dice towers), and found them well worth what ended up being a long wait to get them. It seemed only right to share, 'cause he makes REALLY PRETTY THINGS. Go look.
  13. Alea Tools: Color Mix Magnetic Status Markers for RPG, via @Kickstarter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/aleatools/alea-tools-color-mix-magnetic-status-markers-for-r Alea Tools : Color Mix Magnetic Status Markers! Thanks for stopping by! We are Alea Tools, and the purpose of this Color Mix Kickstarter project is create a new series of two-color Magnetic Status Markersfor Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Savage Worlds, and other tabletop role playing games. We have been working on this process with the same local vendor that helped us add 18 awesome new colors in our 2013 Color Boost Kickstarter Project. We have already run a few test batches and done some tweaking to the process to get something that we think is both awesome-looking and useful at the game table. We hope you agree! Our Kickstarter funds will be used to purchase colorant to produce new one-inch Magnetic Status Markers that contain a unique mix of two colors. If we exceed our funding goal, we have lined up a long list of stretch goals and backer rewards, including freebies! In an effort to reduce the risk to an on-time delivery, we will focus on one-inch markers.
  14. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/9gateminiatures/the-day-and-night-at-tortuga-island-75mm-resin-fig?ref=discovery_category_newest About Oh, the pirates! Don’t we just love them? Admit, you have, and we are sure many times, imagined yourself standing on the quarterdeck, squinting at the vastness of the blue ocean around you through the old, brass spyglass or steering the large wood-carved wheel to lead your ship out of the imminent danger or even imagined yourself shouting “BOARD!!!” and with a sword drawn rushed into a heat of fight. Nothing can beat that feeling of freedom and danger taking over you, all simultaneously, as the hull cuts through the waves and the wind fills the tall sail. The smell of sea and anticipation of adventures raises up in your blood. Buccaneers, Privateers, Corsairs, Filibusters... whatever you call them – sea wolfs or sea dogs, marauders or raiders, as soon as you hear the word “Pirate” a clear image pops into our heads. Now, close your eyes and imagine... A hat, a vest, a pistol or a two, a sword or a dagger, messy hair or no hair at all, stubbles or a beard, perhaps even a black one... weathered faces and clothes, wooden legs, monkeys or parrots, chests of treasures and rum! This collection is our TRIBUTE to all the pirate stories and books that we’ve read and movies and cartoons that we’ve watched and loved so much. The campaign includes sixteen 75mm resin figures (1/24 scale) and TWO SECRET 75mm figures. We also included six resin busts in 1/14 scale and many additional items to create a tavern diorama, including ONE SECRET SCENE into this campaign. We also sculpted and printed alternative versions of heads and arms for most of our pirates (excluding monster pirates and ladies), which means you can assemble a pirate during a daytime or nighttime in the tavern! P.S. More alternative versions of the heads, arms and other items will be available for sale from our website after we finish our campaign at the Kickstarter. You will be also able to buy separate bodies of our pirates in the case if you want to create two or more different versions of our pirates. Can you make the multiple pledges on Kickstarter? Some prospective backers have contacted us to let us know that they would want to make several pledges, for example – to pledge for one copy of the figure for themselves and one or more to give away as a gift for their friends. It is great news, since it will help the campaign to reach its goal faster, however, Kickstarter does not allow to one person to pledge more than once in the same campaign. There are two options to overcome it: 1. Accordingly to the KS rules, backers can only choose one reward tier per pledge. You can, however, change your pledge amount and reward selection for as long as a project is live. At the end of the campaign, you would just need to indicate which figures or scenes you would like to get. 2. Create another account with the KS under a separate email. Please note that you will only pay for delivery once. We will combine all required items and figures as one single parcel.
  15. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/infiniteblack/elder-dice-the-colors-out-of-space?ref=discovery_category_newest About Elder Dice are perfect for any fantasy or horror roleplaying game. They are also ideal for upgrading the dice in your board games. We have designed these sets of dice based on three new arcane symbols. Each comes packaged in a matching spellbook box with a magnetic closure and lore card. We also have tubes of six-sided dice in each design for anyone who needs to roll d6s by the fistful. The symbols are located on the highest value of each die.

We are SkullSplitter Dice, and we'd like your help to bring these polyhedral dice sets for RPG's to life. The three color combinations in this Kickstarter are: Blue and White (Valkyrie's Sky), Purple and White (Aether Breach), and Green and White (Forest Queen's Radiance). This project will be fully funded at $6,000, which unlocks Valkyrie's Sky. Additional color combinations are unlocked at $11,000 and $16,000.
  17. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/blackgateminiatures/10mm-demon-infantry-miniatures-from-black-gate-min?ref=discovery_category_newest About Welcome to the Kickstarter for 10mm Demon Infantry from Black Gate Miniatures. The Demon Infantry unit will consist of 13 individually sculpted models, supplied in packs of 24. The 11 variant troop miniatures will be duplicated and the final 2 miniatures will be a musician and standard bearer. They are cast from Lead-free Pewter and scaled at 10mm. I now need £1000 to cover the remaining sculpting and production costs in order to bring these terrors of the tabletop to life. The price of £7.50 per unit is exclusive to this Kickstarter. As I am a one man production plant, this Kickstarter will be limited to a maximum of 100 Demon Overlord backers. If you are worried about backing then look at my previous two Kickstarters, both of which were successfully delivered and my website https://www.blackgateminiatures.com/ where you can see the Ogres on sale. The creative team from the previous two campaigns has been recommissoned, Christian for the Art and Robi for sculpting and so previous backers will know what quality to expect. Once the Demon Infantry fund, I will get Christian to produce the art for all four of the listed stretch goals and put them on display. Hopefully you can find room in your life for some 10mm Demons. The initial concept art
  18. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/darkravengames/deep-madness-audio-platinum-lossless-flac-edition?ref=discovery_category_newest About Deep Madness audio is BACK in a new, lossless FLAC format! Because these large FLAC files are so expensive to host on our sales servers, we will not be selling this regularly after this Kickstarter. However, it MAY be available as part of special campaigns in the future. This is what was previously the gold edition upgraded to crystal clear sound from our audio master files for audiophiles out there.
  19. I was messaged by a backer, mentioning that I should come over here and share my most recent Kickstarter project. We've put together the Ultimate Dropper Bottle Transfer Kit! Are you tired of spilt wash, and dried out paints? Having a difficult time finding quality dropper bottles, at a fair price? That's why we came up with the idea for this project. We've bundled together everything that you'll need in order to decant your paint pots into dropper bottles. The bottles offered during this campaign are premium quality, and comparable to other major hobby paint manufactures. The project can be viewed at the link below– https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/hugeminis/ultimate-dropper-bottle-transfer-kit
  20. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/battlefieldpress/terry-mancours-spellmonger? Terry Mancour's Spellmonger Bringing Terry Mancour's Spellmonger series to the Pathfinder RPG and the Fifth Edition of the Worlds most popular role playing game. About Now, Terry Mancour's Spellmonger series is soon coming to a fantasy rpg near you from Battlefield Press International. This will be a setting book for the Fifth Edition of the world's most popular role playing game and the First Edition of the Pathfinder Role Playing Game. REVIEWS FOR THE SPELLMONGER NOVEL " If you are into magic, wizardry, fantasy and badass spellmongers this is the book for you. " - Kindle Customer (posted on Amazon.com) " In Spellmonger by Terry Mancour, we have a pretty much textbook case of Minalan the mage, who just wants to be a simple village spellmonger, but the local goblins have other ideas. They decide to attack his village, along with several others. Of course, being an Academy trained veteran Warmage, he steps in to combat the gurvani, as they call themselves." - David Fernau (posted on Otherworldly Gazette) ABOUT THE NOVEL Minalan gave up a promising career as a professional warmage to live the quiet life of a village spellmonger in the remote mountain valley of Boval. It was a peaceful, beautiful little fief, far from the dangerous feudal petty squabbles of the Five Duchies, on the world of Callidore. There were cows. Lots of cows. And cheese. For six months things went well: he found a quaint little shop, befriended the local lord, the village folk loved him, he found a sharp young apprentice to help out, and best yet, he met a comely young widow with the prettiest eyes . . . Then one night Minalan is forced to once again pick up his mageblade, this time to defend his adopted home from the vanguard of an army of goblins, or gurvani as they call themselves, bent on a genocidal crusade against all mankind, and that’s the good news. The bad news is that their shamans are armed with far more magical power than has been seen since the days of the ancient Imperial Magocracy. This gurvani army, led by a mysterious, vengeful force of hate and dark magic, is headed directly to Boval Vale to strike the first blow in their crusade, and all that stands between the gurvani horde and the people of the Five Duchies is one tired, overwhelmed baker’s son who wants nothing more than to be a simple village spellmonger. WHAT THIS BOOK CONTAINS This book contains rules on adapting Terry Mancour's Spellmonger series to the 1st edition of the Pathfinder RPG and the Fifth Edition of the worlds most popular role playing game. Included in the books for both editions: New Archetypes for classes, especially for the various types of magic users. Information on how the existing classes fit inside the world of Callidore Write ups on the pantheon of Callidore New spells and magical developments, including how divine magic works in the realm. Rules concerning the witch stone, irionite, and its usage. Information on the Censorite, an organization of magic users designed to limit the abilities of mages. Details on mage blades used by the warmages in the realm. Background information and maps of the five duchies and the location of the conquered lands Information on the Farisian Campaign. History of Callidore from the Magocracy to the Five Duchies, terminating in the Gurvani and the Dark Lord, Shereul the Dead god's, attack on the Boval Vale. Write ups on non human races such as the Alka Alon, the Karshak Alon (the Stonesingers), the Gurvani, and others. Character write ups on the notable characters. Bestiary of Callidore ABOUT THIS SETTING A Brief History of Humans on Callidore It is said that when humanity appeared, they arrived in great sky ships, descending from the heavens above Callidore and there found that it was inhabited by two races. The first race, now called simply the Seafolk, for the seas is where they lived, and the more numerous, the Alka Alon, who lived on dry land. These newcomers had come looking for a new home and after negotiating with the Seafolk and the Alka Alon, humanity was allowed to settle upon a small part of Callidore, with the primary concentration for its new home being an archipelago called the Isles of Perwyn, from which the humans slowly spread. Now humanity’s power was great, but it was a power of machines and constructs such as is seen in their sky ships and many other such cunning and powerful devices. It is with such power that they changed their environment and built their new home. The Alka Alon and the Seafolk had power of their own. An inborn power that could reach out and affect the world directly. A power that the Alka called rajira, or magical talent. After but a few generations on Callidore, humanity began to feel the stirrings of rajira in the unsuspecting population. The effects were erratic and ambiguous, at first, but soon it became clear that the conscious (or unconscious) manipulation of reality was emerging in a small percentage of the humans. While considered an “acceptable evolutionary anomaly” by the sages of the humans, it soon became evident that the emergence of rajira in a scant few would have massive implications for humanity’s tenure on Perwyn, and on all of Callidore. In an effort to contain humanity’s emerging Talent in a peaceful way, the Alka Alon sent learned masters to act as midwives through the process. Adapting their sophisticated magic to the simpler-minded mortals was a challenge, but within a decade the Alkan songmasters and human sages had mapped what they felt were the limits of the change and had contrived a means of giving humans some control over their new powers: the basis for the Imperial System of magic. Alas, the manifestation of simple magic was compounded by the emergence with what became known as the Divine Powers: the personified manifestation of subconscious human desires, fears, and emotions. The Gods. Unique in the history of Callidore, the appearance of the first of these quasi-independent entities was met with amazement by the Alka, who had never encountered such random, wild powers before. The gods could do things that ordinary magic could not, and belied explanation by the immortals. The gods were uncontrollable, unmanageable, and were apt to disappear back into the ether as fast as they came. The Early Magocracy and the Fall of Perwyn Just as the implications of these manifestations were becoming clear, a series of events plunged Perwyn into the first of a series of disasters. Though the details have been lost in the mists of time and are preserved in part in only a handful of records, a rebellion amongst the humans and an incident with the Alka Alon sparked a dramatic change in Perwyn’s government, and the fate of humans over-all. The great sky ships were removed from common use and most humans were left alone on the world to fend for themselves while powerful magi ruled using their powers to make up for the loss of their ships. For nearly three hundred years a series of Archmagi ruled Perwyn and the mainland communities in relative peace. While there were rebellions and an increasing threat of independence from the various mainland communities, the military and magical power of the Archmagi successfully maintained the nations it grew into the lands that had been prepared for it. Skirmishes with the Sea Lords of Cormeer, the dour Northmen, Narasi tribes on the northern steppes, the raiders from the Eastern lands, and even the Unstarans were kept in place as the great river valleys of Merwyn and Vore were settled. The few sky ships left were used by the Archmagi to dominate their potential rivals, eventually evolving into a powerful empire. Yet even as the sophistication of their magic grew, the Archmagi indulged in petty struggles to maintain their secular power. As time passed, the island became crowded and fewer were willing to relocate from its rich and well-developed cities, until the last Archmage of the Early Magocracy, Kephan the Damned, undertook a Great Work: to raise a portion of the seabed around Perwyn with magic, to increase its arable lands. It was a mighty and ambitious undertaking and many in the Magocracy and among the Alka Alon objected to the feat. But Kephan persisted and, at first, his spells were effective, and the land began to rise. But whether by chance or by design, something went horribly awry. Instead of creating hundreds of hectares of croplands for the island, Kephan’s spell, over the next two years, sunk most of the island into the sea. While most of the folk of Perwyn were able to evacuate, much of their great machines, were abandoned to the sea. For almost fifty years there was chaos as the humans, with the help of the Alka Alon, resettled and re-organized themselves on the mainland. This was the time of the great Mage Wars, as various families and factions of the old Magocracy fought for control over the colony’s remaining resources. It took half a century for one of them to assume control over the others and re-found the empire as the first Archmage of the Later Magocracy. The Later Magocracy of Merwyn By this point, most of humanity had devolved to being smallholding farmers, woodsmen, and even subsistence-level peasants. The great promise of human civilization, a power that had overcome short life and crossed the Void, had failed. As potent as the gods were in this new world, their interventions were haphazard, short sighted, and bound by the limits of human need. Even as the study of Imperial Magic reached its zenith in the great cities of Merwyn, the last useful remnants of human civilization all but collapsed, leaving humanity at the mercy of its own frailties. The effort to preserve humanity from itself led the Archmagi to slowly accumulate the magical irionite, called witchstones by the common folk, that allowed the Magelords of the Empire to utilize magic to its greatest extent. Originally gifts from the Alka Alon and used to assist humanity in exploring their rajira, the stones had become hereditary objects used by various noble families against each other. They became instrumental tools of the great magelords of the day to support and reinforce their control. Mid-way through the Later Magocracy, in an effort to save humanity, or so say the Imperial Histories, from the terrors of its elite, or as a means to consolidate his own absolute power, according to his opponents, over the Empire, the Archmage disposed of the majority of irionite at sea, over the site of drowned Perwyn. The Narasi Conquest If left unmolested, there’s no doubt that the Magocracy would have eventually recovered some of the functionality of the early colony, but fate intervened, and history was changed. Ancient settlers in the far northern steppes above the fertile lands of Vore had greatly decivilized into horse-riding nomadic tribes. When raiding their southern neighbors proved profitable, a regular series of harassing attacks forced the Archmage to deploy troops to defend Vore. Over the years the size and intensity of the attacks grew, as did the Imperial response. Eventually, some of the barbarian Narasi were hired to screen off their kinsman from further attacks. Chief amongst these mercenaries was Klaven the Great, also known as Kamaklavan. Klaven was a chief with three legitimate sons and two bastards, all great horsemen and cunning warriors. After three years of successfully keeping the rest of the Narasi at bay, a dispute over pay with the Governor of Upper Vore saw Klaven withdraw at the end of his contract. The next year, when no attacks came, the Archmage withdrew many of the troops in the north to face the rebellious Cormeeran Sea Lords in the south. In their place he sent warmagi, as the Narasi feared the powers that only their greatest shamans possessed. Alas, Klaven was not merely sulking on the steppes; he took his knowledge of Imperial defenses and the wealth he’d accumulated as an Imperial auxiliary, and he hired four other clans to ride south with him and overwhelm the citadels of the Empire. Though skeptical, his sons led the mercenaries in a surprise attack that was the first success of the Conquest. For six years Klaven and his sons ransacked Vore, Upper and Lower, and made steady incursions into Merwyn, the heart of the Empire. The long, brutal campaign that followed is detailed elsewhere in the histories, but after six years Klaven and his sons and their Narasi barbarians overwhelmed one Imperial army after another. Magic helped keep the invaders at bay, but the powers of the magi were greatly diminished, after giving up their irionite. Eventually Kamaklaven was crowned King, and made each of his sons dukes over portions of his kingdom. When he refused to name a successor among the jealous brothers, the kingdom fractured into the Five Duchies: Vore, Merwyn, Remere, Castal, and Alshar. For a time, Imperial forces withdrew to pockets of resistance in Alshar, Wenshar, and Farise, but eventually all but Farise fell to the Narasi horsemens’ fearsome blades. The Alka Alon who had been serving as advisors to the Magocracy were horrified at the bloody, anti-magical regime that now treated respected scholars like peasants. Thousands of books were burned by the suspicious and illiterate Narasi, and the magi were imprisoned or executed for resisting the barbarians. Survivors were forced to police themselves by means of the Censorate of Magic, an order of warmagi responsible only to the King, charged with regulating magic and magi within the kingdom and empowered to take life, liberty, or property from those who violated their strict terms. For the most part, the Alka Alon withdrew in disgust from the affairs of men after the Conquest. Watching a brilliant civilization to succumb to barbarism, ignorance, and squalor in less than one of their lifetimes was too disheartening for the Alon to witness. The Five Duchies The death of Kamaklaven was the birth of the five feudal duchies that ruled over most of the human lands of Callidore for four hundred years of purposeful ignorance. The Narasi warriors quickly settled into the role of an equestrian aristocracy, intermarrying heavily with the native nobility in Vore, Merwyn, and Remere. In Castal and Alshar, the original Narasi bloodlines and culture were preserved more intact, though they, too, underwent a transformation. The priesthoods of the two cultures merged and the Magelords eventually accepted their subservience to the chivalry, becoming mere artisans in a tightly-regulated environment . . . not lords of the world, as before. Though thousands of petty feudal domains permit a subsistence existence to the majority of people in the Five Duchies, the Censorate of Magic maintains its ancient prerogatives and acts without restraint. Each Ducal house has a long history of both warring and wedding the others, and vicious court politics has shaped the destinies of millions. Rarely does one have the ambition, drive, or means to improve their power over the others . . . Shereul the Dead god Where is this money going? It would be remiss of us to not tell you what we are going to use this money for, as it is your right to know. That's because for this Kickstarter campaign, we're going to send out surveys and collect shipping fees through BackerKit once we're ready to ship out all physical rewards. This not only means all funds raised in the Kickstarter are going towards covering the costs of production. The cost of production include licensing fees, layout, and printing) but it gives us plenty of time to source the best and least expensive international shipping options through fulfillment agents in Europe and Asia. Thanks for being understanding! We know that for some it's much easier just to take care of the total costs all at once upon pledging, but we hope you'll see that this approach is not only better for the project but affords you the lowest shipping costs when the time comes. Like other projects of this type, this project is not without risks. Delays can happen, as we are only human. We will keep in contact with you concerning potential delays and such. The biggest possible delay will come from any stretch goals that we may include. The risk of delay happens anytime you put control in the hands of another person, who has their own issues they must deal with as well.
  21. First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Alessio Cisbani, and I'm an Italian miniature sculptor and painter. With this project I want to create a series of metal miniatures inspired by the classic ones of the 90s that I collected and painted. These miniatures will fit with your favourite wargames and can be cool PC or NPC for your pen&paper roleplaying games. The path this project will take is like the exploration of a dungeon: as our heroes delve deeper, they will face menacing creatures like Gargoyles or treacherous cultists and enchanters, but they may also find unexpected allies... Moreover Randolf the Ogre (see below) could find bits of armor, and weapons of his size! My project is live and yet funded in few hours, I would be glad if you can take a look. 22. Looking for Asian themed 3d printable buildings and terrain. http://kck.st/2EnIXlN War rages across the borders of the Empire, and creatures of legend descend from the hills and mountains to prey upon helpless villages and even the better-defended walled towns of these regions. Most deadly of them all is the Hobgoblin King, ruler of a vast city populated by his hobgoblin legions and their oni allies, along with flocks of quarrelsome tengu and even humans who traffic with such evil beings. The adventure sets offered in this Kickstarter range from defending a small village or attacking an outpost of hobgoblin soldiers, to adventuring in a human city based loosely on Northeastern Asia, to an all-out war in the Hobgoblin King's own city! The pieces are designed for 28mm D&D or other fantasy RPG gaming, but can be scaled to 15mm for wargames using smaller scale. These .stl files allow you to print two entire cities with dramatically different architecture reflecting their inhabitants, along with sinister bamboo forests to fill with monsters, treasures, and puzzles! Whether you're fighting hobgoblin raiders, conniving with thieves, plotting against the Emperor, or working to thwart the plans of the Hobgoblin King, this Kickstarter can give your players a visual spectacle they'll be talking about for years. Well-known 3D sculptor Iain Lovecraft is teaming up with ENNIE award-winning author Matt Finch and Zach Glazar of Frog God Games to bring you buildings and terrain designed to provide what gamers need with tabletop terrain - places to hide, places to put figures, things to climb, and all the little details that can sometimes get left out of the sculpting process. Including the ever-present dangers of "fat fingers," being able to see the minis over the terrain, and cat attacks on the table setup. All of these files print without the need for slicer supports.

Someone in a podcast I listen to (an actual play d&d weekly affair, if I remember correctly) has this rpg based on 80s video nasties. It sounds intriguing and fun. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nerdycity/rpg-nasty-an-rpg-zine-style-game-of-80s-vhs-horror/description
  25. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1280484354/world-of-twilight-the-crooked-trade-outpost/comments About It’s been 20 years since my first sketches of the diminutive fubarnii and this Salute will be the tenth anniversary of the first Twilight releases! Over those two decades I’ve visited large areas of Anyaral and we now have well over 100 unique playable units for the game (not to mention all the different variants, civilians and a wide variety of critters...), all in the usual World of Twilight scale (roughly 28mm). If you are new to Anyaral, then I recommend you go and visit the World of Twilight website to find out more! Over the last year I’ve continued with the normal range, but I’ve also had a play with something slightly different, and that is where I need your help! Legends of Anyaral is a random little side project that will let me play with big buildings and creatures that simply wouldn’t work in the usual scale. I took the very simplistic approach of sculpting everything half the usual size, which effectively makes it a 15mm range. The first sculpt I did was of a piece of Fubarnii architecture that I sketched during Inktober 2017; the Crooked Trade Outpost. "Crooked" from Inktober 2017 "We paused our travels briefly at the crooked tower of Geliad. I had initially assumed the tower was on the brink of collapse, but was assured by the locals that it was all part of their local engineer's eccentric but deliberate design! It now serves as an outpost where traders rest before braving the Moerasii marshes. We were fortunate enough to see a domesticated lorsaan being loaded with baggage. It never ceases to amaze me that such behemoths wander our lands." I wanted to create the building, but figured it would be somewhat huge in the usual scale! Instead, I halved all the dimensions, making it a much more manageable 135mm in height. Having sculpted the building I did of course need to sculpt the lorsaan to accompany it. Then a few little traders to look after the Lorsaan... Which gives a good insight into how Twilight has generally been created over the last twenty years! The Crooked Trade Outpost, painted by Joe Karame I’ve got a few other ideas I’d like to do in the Legends scale (the enarii, more huge beasts!), but it depends a lot how well this project is received. I have no current plans for any rules, although that could be very tempting! That's for the future though, this kickstarter is just about the Outpost :) Even in the smaller scale I wasn’t entirely sure how practical it would be to release the trade outpost, but the very talented Rob Huntley (Warploque) took it in hand and did an amazing job casting the tower as a single piece kit! I then worked with Rob Alderman and John Bryan to make some more production moulds that would make the set affordable to gamers as well as collectors. For this kickstarter most of the pledges will be cast by John Bryan, but I am also giving you the opportunity to get your hands on the Warploque master casts as a special collector's edition. I’m keeping everything about this campaign simple. The campaign will run for a short period and will be very focused. I’ve got a couple of ideas for extras and stretch goals (remember those traders I mentioned earlier...), but nothing that will delay delivery! As soon as the campaign is over I’ll get everything ordered and get the pledge manager open so I can start shipping as soon as Kickstarter release the funds. I’m sure many of you in Europe will be a bit apprehensive about Brexit. I can't make any promises as there isn't much time, but the plan is to get all European orders shipped first (hopefully before the end of March) with the orders to the rest of the world close on their heels! For this Kickstarter I’ve come up with a few simple pledges, so you can get the Lorsaan or the Crooked Outpost, or everything together. I've also put together a special Master Quality Collector's Set, which is the definitive collector's edition. The Collector's Set includes resin Warploque master casts of the Trade Outpost and the Lorsaan. Risks and challenges We've run three larger projects previously, so have a good grasp of the challenges involved! This project does involve a lot of individual resin casts, which I know can cause production delays. However, I’ve lined up the casters so I’m confident they’ll be able to deliver in time. The other concern is the impact Brexit might have on delivery for European backers, but we will do our best to get European orders out in advance, as long as details are provided efficiently. It's a small, short-time project, so hurry up to back it if you want it. Only 4 days left.
