    Hellborn wizard

I painted this guy up for a Pathfinder game. He is a swashbuckling occultist and has been fun to play so far the few times we've gotten to play. He's been painted up for a while now, but I just got around to taking his picture. I hadn't fill an odd Gabon one wrist and use some green stuff to thicken his other wrist, since the pointing hand's wrist was so thin. I dry brushed some interference gold on to the base so it looks a different color from certain angles.

    77149: Damien, Hellborn Wizard

Just got around to finishing a bones 1 mini that had been incomplete for a year or so. I was trying to add magical nonsense to his coat.

    Player Characters for D&D 5e

Here are the latest PC models chosen by my players, painted quickly to get them ready for the game. They are all escaped slaves in the Underdark. I don't recall what names they gave them, just the class. 77047 Goldar - Fighter 77149 Damien - Sorceror 89014 Seltyiel - Druid 77061 Kord - Barbarian 77040 Satheras - Warlock

    Rainbow (Assorted Minis)

Okay! So I thought that ordering 7 Bones would hold me off for awhile since I've just gotten started, right? Oh, but I was wrong. So very wrong. I started painting on Tuesday. They were all done Wednesday night. Now, I have still got a looooong way to go. No doubt about it. I'm going to try a different method of priming for my next batch, but I really enjoyed working with the color on these guys. Critiques are welcome and appreciated! As well as a Snake Demon (caution. Nudity.)
  5. Here are five Bones I painted up to represent the PC's in my Pathfinder game (we're playing the Kingmaker campaign). With these I basically tried to shoot for the best tabletop standard I could muster; I did want them to look good as they are the protagonists of a game we might be playing for some time. However, I also wanted to get them done before the campaign was over (I'm slow), and I knew that my players would soon be handling them at the gaming table with their coffee-stained, pizza-greased little paws (hi guys!). First up is Oviara the Cleric (of Iomedae, Goddess of honor, justice, rulership, and valor), who has so far in the campaign been righteously delivering justice to wrongdoers by sword or rope in an awfully lawful good manner (hey, that's also my first attempt at freehand on the shield there; yay me!). Next is Eral the Sorcerer, who derives his arcane powers from the demonic blood coursing through his veins, and who has been reincarnated repeatedly throughout the millenia awaiting some unknown destiny (the scariest thing with this guy is that he is a strong contender to become the ruler when the group starts establishing their own kingdom later on in the campaign... *shudder*). Here is Theodor the Monk, a fearless man always at the forefront of battle. I cut the axe off Goldar to make him more... monk-y. That axe was always my least favorite part of the sculpt anyway, and also, a real man don't need a weapon to bash in his enemies skulls yo! In contrast, here is someone who isn't bothered by putting an axe to good use. Meet Gothmog the Barbarian, a towering beast of muscle, rage and flatulence, equipped with a surprisingly sensitive soul. Last we come to Solfein the Ranger/Wizard, an elvish youth of only 95 years with the personality of a typical teenager. Unlike most other angsty teens, however, this guy actually has pretty good reason for his dark moods, as he was banished from elven land after having strangled his one true love in a jealous rage. And finally, a group shot. Seeing them together like this, it is clear what a bunch of posers they are; Oviara has climbed up on a little step before gazing off into the distance, it looks like Gothmog is flexing pretty hard under all that armor, and Eral and Theodor have even ripped their shirts off for the camera. So far in the campaign, the gang has been valiantly combating these terrible monstrosities, but sooner or later they're going to have to face off against this guy, at which point posing cutely in front of the camera will simply not be enough...

    Damien Eldritch Rockstar

It was a great show. The crowd was really into it, just what he wanted, what he needed. Tomorrow most of them would be feeling a little drained, but he would be riding the high of their emotions. It was almost a shame theses humans couldn't feel the raw magic that such a show like this pumped out. "Thank you Edmonton!!" He called out, flashing the rock horns, to the scream of the crowd just before the stage lights went to black. well,I missed a couple of mold lines that really show up in pictures, and even with the matte varnish he's a tad glossy still, but the contest ends tomorrow, so it's too late to fix the errors I see. Still it was a fun conversion and a fun mini to paint up.

    OneBoot's Consolidated Show Off

My second miniature ever, and my very first KS mini! It's just a rat, but I'm quite happy with the results. My WIP is posted here. (Note: the last picture was taken before I'd tidied up around the toes on his back feet; the top 2 pictures are the ones that were taken last.) Huzzah! --OneBoot :D

    77149: Damien, Hellborn Gunslinger

It's my first conversion! I lopped the hands and top of the head off Damien and added the hands and hat from the Black Mist, with a bit of green stuff to make the top of the hat a bit wider for Damien's big hair/horns. Painted up as a Gunslinger. Still trying to get my camera setup right and struggling with glossiness on the mini. Some of the subtlety is killed by the gloss, the pants are more of an olive and the straps stand out against them a bit more, for instance. WIP starts here but it's a while until I start painting it. Hope you guys enjoy it! I had a lot of fun coming up with the conversion and painting it.
