  1. So I wanted to test and expand my skills this month. I had this wooden base from the Box of goodwill, and grabbed some figures from the core set of Bones 2 Dragoth on throne, Cultist, Pathfinder dwarven cleric, treasure chest. Basically a dwarven cleric, either confronting or being bribed by Dragoth. hopefully ambiguous. the scene seemed to need a balancing agent, so I added the cultist (accountant? necromancer?) standing behind the throne. I tried using my Basius Stamp pad to create the floor, using play-doh as a test material, but it seemed to dicy with rapidly drying greenstuff. I couldn't get a strip wide enough to cover the base, so I would have to join 2-3 strips and I lack confidence that I can do so without terrible seems. Cutting the flagstones with a ruler and a utility knife seemed to work better (sorry no pictures of trials) Here is the supplies i will be using. The pattern for the floor is the large flagstones in the central area, but not the half circle. Considering adding the rubble and fallen pillar for added visual interest the dwarf needed to be more central the Dwarf will be in bright blue, perhaps gold NNM (which I have only done once, so not sure...) Dargoth will be practically monochromatic and the cultist is planned to be black robed, with perhaps a hit of purple. colors intended to draw attention to the dwarf and the gold around the chest. I really haven't tried this before so any comments or suggestions would be great.
  2. I can't decide if I regret putting the summoning circle on the base or not...
