    Redcap Dwarf from Massive Darkness

This little guy caused me a bit of pain. I sliced my finger open getting him off his base. Despite that, he was fun to paint. I was using a really limited palette because he just screams redcap to me. Thus, the blood red hat. It was a quick and dirty paint job, to take my mind of things for a bit. Fun he was though! As always, C&C welcomed. Used BONES paints: 09279 - Fresh Blood 09121 - Khaki Shadow 09274 - Vampiric Shadow 09442 - Barbarian Flesh 09441 - Ruddy Flesh 09438 - Tempest Grey 09436 - Bleached Linen CAH
  2. Bregnor Hefthammer is the older brother of Feanon Hefthammer and Norim Hefthammer. Unlike his sibilings, he retired from a life of adventure and returned to his mountain home to assist with its rebuilding. A devout follower of Moradin, Bregnor is never without his hammer, though he as since put away his armor. He has a distinct love for ale and crafting, and on more than one occasion, tried to combine the two with little success. Bregnor (front) Bregnor (back) I tried to go for a brassy/gold look with the hammer. Overall I think he came out pretty good. His clothing was intentionally kept simple. The hardest part for me was the eyes, which I could not seem to get right. I am still trying, but I may hang it up on this one. Side note, I think I need some new brushes. Hope you like him, and as always CC is welcome! CAH
