    Dungeon Dwellers Goblins

These are probably some of my best work ever, which is a little silly. But they are such nice little sculpts and I love them. I got them for free for ordering so much.
  2. Hey all, Here is the start of a small Orcs and Goblins force. These guys have been sitting around for a while, but since I forgot to pack my case of miniatures when I came back overseas, they are next up on the painting table... I hope they'll make a nice complement to my Ogre army, and be useful for RPGs and Warhammer Quest. So far they have gotten some brown, beige, and two shades of green.
  3. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/554542735/greenskin-wars-the-iron-orcs-and-bulbus-peppernose?ref=discovery About The campaign purpose. The purpose of this campaign is to get the funds to produce these new miniatures and also expand the Greenskin Wars range with new models and allies for them. Material: All the miniatures are made of lead free metal and are supplied unassembled, unpainted and without bases (bases can be supplied at request for a small extra cost) I decided not to include bases because there's a wide variety of clients who want square bases for regiments , some round or hex for skirmish games... so we better avoid the extra cost of adding bases that you might not use in the end. This is a very durable material able to keep very sharp detail, but while I check every order personally before sending, keep in mind the copies are not "perfect" and some complex or multipart models might need some pinning, cleaning or small adjustments. Most of this HUGE range of greenskins and related creatures are sculpted by the legendary ex GW sculptor Kevin Adams, who has an awesome taste for these kind of creatures. Iron Orcs: The first Iron Orc boss was released more than 2 years ago as a single character, but he left the door open for the future... and today he will finally meet his slaughter mates! The Iron Orcs are massive orc brutes wearing heavy and nasty armours full of spikes, horns and basically anything they can add to their weaponry to be more lethal and dangerous. They are bigger and bulkier than regular orcs, also has a darker skin colour, and the combination of the dark skin and the heavy armours is what make the other greenskins call them "Iron Orcs" because while charging into combat they really look like and iron unstoppable juggernaut! Take a closer look at these beasts! If you didn't get the first Iron Orc boss yet, here's a great chance to get him with the new ones for a very nice fixed price!! This "Full" squad include the first released Iron Orc Boss miniature. For those of you who don't know the "original" Iron Orc boss, here's a pic of him: Original Iron Orc boss Bulbus Peppernose & Warband: Bulbus is a goblin hero who has reach a respectable fame amongst the other goblins. He and his warband looks very peculiar and unique because of the heavy and very hornated helmets and pieces of armour they use. Detail of the Pepernose fellas!

    Gnollblins!

@malefactus sent me some old Games Workshop plastic night goblins, and instead of putting them together properly I decided to stick the heads on the bodies of some Frostgrave plastic gnolls. There's another one but he's badly unbalanced (in more ways than one) and keeps falling over.

    Various WIPS

My time has been limited as of late, so when I get to paint I tend to overwhelm myself a bit. Lots of progress but nothing finished!
  9. Dungeon Dwellers 07003 Bloodbite Goblins by Bobby Jackson and some other goblins (I forget where they came from)
  10. my take on those 2 guys I have to take care more about mold line next time :(

    GW Grots/Gretchin

Haven't been able to get my lights out, I want to do some close up of some of these guys but here is their group shots. If/when I do, I'll update this thread :) I did want to do a bit more detail on them but honestly I'm suffering from can't see syndrome so I left it for now. Maybe when my eyes improve I can get some more done on them.

    77024 Goblins

Been a while sense I painted anything. So I did a quick paint of my 2nd favorite low lvl monster, Goblins for a 24h paint-athon. This three took about 6h from start to finish, don't know if I got a bad run or as these were some of the first Bones molds, the mold is a little warn but these guys looked a little thinner with less detail then other versions I've seen of this sculpt. Still all in all think they turned out ok and were good practice

  14. A raiding of Rad Wasters and a gobbledegook of Goblins. All are converted from "The Hobbit: Escape from Goblin Town". I can see these filling a large number of roles; Goblins, Mutants, Poxwalkers, Ghouls, or more! Except for the Overseer and Goblin boss, all minis have been converted. Even the fantasy/feudal 40k gobbo-mutants have had weapon swaps at the least; I don't care for doubles and had already painted their base sculpt back in the summer: First, we have the Rad Wasters! I forgot to take a shot of the last one with the others. I guess he managed to sneak into the Goblin cave!

    Kagunk

Finished with my latest show and will have at least two months before I'm in another. Figured out that having a nice hobby room all to myself didn't work so well as my wife would find things for me to do so that I didn't go in there and leave her feeling alone. Moved my big painting desk back out into the living room so progress should be fine and if she leaves, she's not upset about it. I had last stopped working on Yagun Oog well over a month ago, so I didn't want to try to jump back in on him right away. Last week saw the Hangout Mini of the Month was another ogre, Kagunk, so I ordered him and he arrived yesterday in the mailbox. After the show finished, I broke him open and began removing mold lines and smoothing things out. For a while it seemed this was going to take several days, but soon I was back in the rhythm and by the time I write this he is ready for a washing. As you can see, he is slightly large. In fact, I had to go scrounging in the cabinets to find something I could put him on to paint him. The jeweler's vice would sort of work, but without a tab that is problematic. Nope, he is going to get a glass jar of high quality olives and a lot of white-tack. He will see brown liner or primer tomorrow! Also going to have to figure out a base for him as the large 50 cm rounds I had donated by Jasper the 2nd are not quite big enough. He may get a slice of a cedar limb, we'll see...

    Lidless Eye Hobbies: Goblin Town

After backing it on Kickstarter, I was inspired by Nord Games "Revenge of the Horde" bestiary for D&D 5E. I liked their very "The Hobbit" inspired cave Goblins...backwards underground isolated and mutated. After some negotiations, I got a friend's old "Escape from Goblin Town" set, and put some paint to it. They've been through a large number of flesh revamps, and the close-ups show the slightly gritty texture from a primer malfunction. I'm happy with them overall, although I'm still not sure how I like the way their hair came out. The Horde: The Great Goblin himself. I think he'd be useful as a Fomorian leader or the like. Just Gobbos! Wise Snot, you're not a mutant! How did you sneak in here?

    The Yepas (Goblins) Warband

About this project Windmaster Miniatures introduces his first campaign based on a Warband of his awesome Yepas (goblins). A ton of fantasy miniatures and scenery in 28mm scale that you can use for any wargame, role-game or skirmish game. We are offering the possibility to all gamers and collectors to take from a little group of Yepas to a big Warband of them, that's depends on the number of miniatures you need. We are supporting The 9th Age project since 2016 and, as you can see, this kickstarter is focused on that way. But if you are playing other wargames, skirmish games, rol-games or simply needs this miniatures to expand your collection, this is yours. All miniatures of this campaign are sold without assembly and painting process. You will need to mount and paint them. PLEDGES BY TYPE OF UNIT: The Night watchers oath "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take all mushrooms juice that I can. I shall wear black clothes with long hooded capes. I am the laughts in the darkness. I am the watcher on the shadows. I am the shield that guards the Epititas Land. I swear for my green broccoli and my honor that I will fight and die at my brothers side, for this night and all the nights to come".
  18. So I need to do my Bones 3 Sophie for August because a friend is in town. I decided to also do a small horde of "20" goblins because I will be GMing adventures soon that require some (I think it's officially 22?). I chose not to paint the musicians & standard bearers that are part of ogre command, or the pathfinder pyromancers set I think I have somewhere in my vault of unpainted minis, because that's a lot. I also decided to paint some other stuff of use - the unicorn because I'm currently playing a wild magic sorceror who has already summoned a unicorn twice! a purple worm because I have been waiting forever for a restock, and some rats because they always useful. One day I will also paint up all my kobolds and there will be a great and terrible battle (and realistically, the goblins will win because there are twice as many). Unpainted photo soon - the minis are all currently drying. I will only prime/ base coat today due to leaving for game in 5 hours. Paging @buglips*the*goblin: I want to make sure I'm not painting diseased goblins. If I remember correctly, blue is a no? tanned through yellow, orange, reddish tinges are okay, and green too?
  19. I was looking for something else, when I saw the Goblins in the Bones III Kickstarter. Those guys are pretty epic. I have been working on a set of goblins and do have some Bones and Metal minis of the existing Goblins. I vastly prefer the newer sculpts (the football head ones with all the sharp teeth) but for the display set I have in mind I'm wanting to get metal versions of all of them. Will the Goblins in Bones III be made available as metal minis some time in the future? And is there a general way to tell on other types of figures? I can understand not having the Dragons translate across due to weight and size, but are there some things that make it into metal and some that don't?

Atlantis Miniatures- 28mm Goblins,Orcs and Trolls

If not for Black Plague, Conan, Blood Rage, Dungeon Sage, Darkness and Light ... and maybe Bones III, I'd be interested: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1636851747/atlantis-miniatures-28mm-goblinsorcs-and-trolls/description
  22. Hi, After being very lazy on the painting front for a while, I decided to knock a batch of models off of my unpainted shelf. These models are part of an expansion from the "Dungeon Saga" board game called the "Warlord of Galahir". The theme of the expansion is mostly Orcs and Goblins with a couple of new heroes: a Salamander (a fiery lizard man) and a Glade walker shaman (a tree-man). The models are cast in "coloured plastics" so the details may not be the sharpest, there was a lot of warping, but it is pretty good for a boardgame, and there is a pair of identical sculpts in each batch. Painting-wise, I went for quick tabletop quality, no blending, stark highlights, and resilient clear coat as I'm expecting these models to see quite a bit of action with the kids. The hardest mini to paint was the Orclings as they are super-tiny and tightly crammed on the base (they are based by default) making reaching out some spots challenging. C&C welcome Heroes and Boss: Trolls: Orcs: Goblins: Orclings and Mawbeasts:

    20 Goblins!

77024 Goblins 77349 Goblin Command (2) 89002 Pathfinder Goblin Pyros 89003 Pathfinder Goblin Warriors (!!! What?!? Missed these in my search and they are awesome! Next order... ) 89004 Pathfinder Goblin Warchanter I never really liked Goblins much, until Pathfinder. Something about these little monsters and the reimagining with so many teeth changed my viewpoint. So much chaos. So many pranks. So much fun. Cheap Bones Goblins? Sure! Sign me up! Still in the thinking stages of this and I don't know that I'll use all of the figures from each of the boxes, but I'm thinking of doing a display piece and calling it "20 Goblins!" (which will probably only have 13 figures... because Maths). Though now, that I write this out, I may have to go back and look at what I'm doing. Mostly I wanted something fun to paint and took the fairly decent ones and just threw brown liner on them. There are some mold lines that could be cleaned up. Well... we can call these test figures and I can replace them with another $10 $20 order... ha! About half of these guys are going to have to go to the Vat of Boiling Doom to fix poses and / or weapons. I also noticed that many of these are very hydrophobic... more so than some of the other Bones I have gotten. No worries... more Liner and done. Then started adding some skin tones last night on the Hangout.
