  1. Here is the battle mage from Bones 3. He was a lot of fun to paint and I love the pony so much! I want a whole herd of ponies! I painted him up very flamboyantly with bright colors and gave him a pattern on his robe. I also tried doing a worn leather look for his hat. He is so cute! I give you Randalf the Red and his pony Pumpkin.
  2. Glitterwolf proudly presents Kabuki's Bonny Ann Pirate Queen Bust. WIP here for those interested http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/77677-bonny-ann-pirate-queen-bust-by-glitterwolf/&page=8 She comes with different options. One fully clothed with hat and bustier and one topless. The Macaw was also optional. Here is the Hatless and NUDE version, LINKED: https://postimg.cc/image/g88jq3h45/ https://postimg.cc/image/6axix24dh/ https://postimg.cc/image/a7aut127p/ https://postimg.cc/image/z0ketp0np/ The safe back and mug shot: Here is the Clothed version with all options.
  3. Arc 724

    Frodwine the Young by RBG

Frodwine the Young by Red Box Games Sculpted by Tre Manor I painted this one in an effort to cross two or three lines together; 1800 trapper, Final Fantasy wizard and Nordic(in terms of the way Tre Manor sculpted it). I wanted to try some OSL on this one so I went with making his eyes glow. I was "o.k" with the way it turned out. The base is a metal base from a set I got in the Box-of-goodwill a few boxes ago. I'm on a NMM kick right now so no TMM on this one. Over all I am luke-warm with out this turned out. The matte varnish (Vallejo) kind of glossed up for some reason when I sealed it... You live and learn. Hope you like it.
  4. Jaws

    Ace, not-Blaine, Hasslefree

This one might be my new favorite mini.: They just don't make guys like this anymore. He does not bleed. He does not have time for such sissy things. He chews tobacco a box at a time.. In fact, he's so much of a sexual tyrannosaurus that he had to be mounted on the base of a friggin' horse. Although, I do not remember the name of his weapon.. I do remember the sound it makes when it takes a mans life. This is Sergeant Blaine Cooper, along with his trusty side-kick, bringing the payback.:
  5. My first caster for Frostgrave. Harsh and honest critiques are most welcome.

    80033: Frank Buck Bones 2

Last miniature I have done for a friend archeologist as a gift. I hope you like it. Comments are more than welcome.

    03682: Willow Greenivy

Apologies for the tiny pictures, not sure why she ended up so small! Any ways, another finished mini from my Restoring the Balance WIP thread. I'm really pleased with how she ended up, I think I need to cut down on how much grit I mix into my basing sand though. As always, any comments and criticisms are most appreciated.
  8. Here's my completed Khael for the Little People Pageant and part of my February count for the resolutionary painting challenge. I'd been looking at this guy on my shelf for a long time. I painted one of him for a fellow gamer that wanted him in typical Gandalf colors. The one on my shelf though I'd been flip flopping between yellow robes and red robes. Decided to go with the yellow. It was my husband's suggestion to give him dark brown hair with a little salt'n'pepper graying going on. I could probably improve on that, but I like it better than when I tried the same for the pirate captain and it didn't turn out as well. Anyways, comments and criticism appreciated!

    Mouseling Wizard

Part of 03529 sculpted by Gene Van Horne. Constructive criticism and suggestions welcomed. I've been postponing starting this mouseling because of the difficulty of tight spaces. I've become more adept at using a long brush with a tiny amount of paint on the tip to reach hard-to-reach places without smearing what is already done, but it was still a trial that took a number of fixings. My image of this mouseling was the wizard Radogast from the books of Lord of the Rings (not that shown in the Hobbit movies, much as I love Sylvester McCoy) but couldn't really fit a forest and cute creatures on his base. We are left with soil (reaper muddy brown with Citadel sepia and earth shades), grass (Army Painter battlefields wilderness tuft 4mm) and autumn leaves (Secret Weapon Fallen Leaves Fall colors). I felt the 'staff' was much too thick for him to carry, and that it must be a way-marker. (Does anyone else make up little back stories for their characters?) Radogast is very much looking out from under his hat, so I've included a shot of him tipped back to see his face more clearly. This is photographed using a home-made light box and my nice macro lens. It did take a while to get the balance of light and f number correct. Apologies that its not all in focus.

    3 Mouselings

Helpful suggestions welcome - I have a number more to paint. Especially suggestions for fur painting, but anything else as well. I'm still very new. Having posted Mouseling Knight (http://www.reapermini.com/forum/index.php?/topic/52511-mousling-knight-part-of-03542/?p=802507) I have been slowly working on more, and becoming faster. Less angst before each choice :) I'm still learning how to use my new zz macro lens so apologies for the loss of focus in points. I'm proud of the duellist. I did consider giving a border to his tabard but in the end decided not to, as you can see. I love the pirate. Wish I could have done more with his wooden leg but mice only have short legs so that's OK. The last mouseling I painted was the archer, and I'm very proud of the shading I did on his cloak at the back. I only realised the casting mismatch on the archer once I'd done much of the painting and was not willing to go back to scratch, so his hood has been repaired or something. Getting around the cloak to finish the base was a right pain. Just to remind you that the mouselings are even tinier than the normal mini figures, here are my mouselings with Ezren the iconic wizard (89013).
