    Imperial Sentinel - Hell Dorado

Another for a friend. I love Hell Dorado stuff.
  2. Mutilatedlips

    Etruscilla (Tengu) - Hell Dorado

Looks sort of like a Tengu to me. This was part of the first batch of minis I had purchased a few years back. Re-discovered him inside my box of models to eventually get to...and finally got to the tengu. Couple of large pics Normal sized
  3. This little guy is from the Hell Dorado game. I'm not sure what he's supposed to be; I couldn't find him anywhere, I guess he's OOP. Anyway, I figure that he makes a pretty good goblin/imp/familiar. What do you think? Uh....blue goblin...Buglips isn't gonna be happy about this...
  4. This month I am at the Mountains of Minis, delving them with gusto, having done mould-line carving, scrubbing, boiling, assembling etc a large portion of the roughly 20-ish minis I got in the Bones 2 shipment. And sacrificing the required amounts of fingerblood, of course. At any rate, what few minis I actually get around to painting this month will all go into the resolutionary challenge total. The complete list will be in the challenge thread post. As per the resolutionary painting challenge guidelines, I will post them here, and link in my post in the challenge thread. Seeing as I am momentarily sick of the bendy bones, I have painted some metal minis for a change. Hereby I present a new series entitled At the Mountains of Minis: The Unspeakable Mouth Which showcases minis with slightly overstated eating orifices (well, what did you think it would be about?) Vol. 2: Damned One of Gluttony I am linking to the images as they might be deemed NSFW. They are naked. You can see nipples. Also they are a bit disturbing. This is actually two versions of the same character: 1. Before it eats some of the opposition: Gluttony 1 Gluttony 2 Gluttony 3 2. and after it gets to stuff its greedy face: Gluttony 4 Gluttony 5 Gluttony 6 The Damned One of Gluttony is manifestation of one of the Seven Sins, and a part of the Demon faction. Also not a nice person to have over for dinner. Metal, 40mm base.

    Maledrakh's Hell Dorado Jinx

May already! For this months resolutionary challenge I am going to try to get some miniatures done! The list will be in the challenge thread post. However, I will have very limited free time this month, so I think any I actually manage to finish will be counted as a win! At any rate, as per the resolutionary painting challenge guidelines, I will post them here, and link in my post in the challenge thread (when the thread gets started that is). So, I am starting small this time: Jinx from Hell Dorado, Demon faction. That is one creepy baby! I imagine this hellspawn would be permanently accompanied by a soundtrack with dramatic cathedral organs and latin-chanting choir! Pays to remember that Power can be held in the smallest of things... The base is a resin one I bought off Ebay some time ago.Do not remember the make, I think it is Micro Art Studio, but it might be Kromlech or similar. The "white hot" flames work better IRL than in the pictures. Metal, 30mm base.
  6. Recently I challenged myself to set aside my usual bright palette and do a series of pieces in shades of brown. I completed all five pieces in two weeks so there are many things to improve on. But given how slow I usually paint, I felt pretty good about keeping to at least a high table top standard on all five. This is Tillie from Bombshell Babes. Reaper 50226: Ivanetta Kozlov, Russian Sniper Hired Blades from Hell Dorado Reaper 14451: Durthen, Dwarven Berserker on Boar There's some blue on Durthen, so that's a bit of a cheat, but not much. Thank you.

    WIP The Alchemist

Hello again everyone who comes to this lovely little forum to show off and take a look at some of the nicest miniatures around. Today I bring to you not a Reaper mini (didn't have one that fit my character so had to look else where), but one I found for a game called Hell Dorado. So far I've finished only the base coat and a little bit of the highlighting on his body. I'm looking at whitening up his clothes a bit more and then I need to work on his eyes and all of the touchups. So without further adieu, here is my latest mini: When I finish him up tomorrow I'll be sure to post the final product and share some of my thoughts on this particular mini. In the mean time if yall have any comments or recommendations I would love to hear them as I'm still very much a newbie to the hobby.
  8. Haven't had much time to paint lately, what with the newest addition to the family and all (it's a girl!), but here are some that I managed to finish before the baby came. The two on the left are Hell Dorado figures, Ashoka and Imperial Sentinel, respectively. And the bow-toting bag of bones there is a classic Reaper Dark Heaven skeleton. The Hell Dorado figures could stand to be touched up; there's a few dings and spots where the paint has rubbed away slightly. Of course, feel free to click the thumbnail for a slightly better view.
