  1. Here are 2 of the pin-up babes from Wargamer LLC's kickstarter Hot & Dangerous. First up Lagertha the Shieldmaiden. I love how her cloak turned out. Not so happy with the face, it look pretty terrible in the photos, its not so bad in hand. I need to get better at thinning my paints I think. Rosie the Bowman (the official name). I did not like the concept art at all, but the finished sculpt turned out great. I love how she has a lot of spunk.

    Reaper Bones 4: Information Thread

So I came to the reaper site after being away for awhile. I saw the pledge manager for the Bones 4 core set. I did not join the kickstarter (sadly was unaware of it) so I thought this was a way to get the core set even if I did not support the kickstarter. I chose the core set, put in a credit card, and paid. It said it completed successfully and that it would ship in wave 14. What is wave 14 and when will it acutally ship? Thanks ahead of time for the help!

  9. About The Amazons are a new line of 28mm white metal and urethane resin table top gaming figurines from RBJ Game Company. Digitally rendered by Master Sculptor Bobby Jackson and faithfully brought to physical reality by Fortress Figures using cutting edge technology to bring you the unquestionably highest quality metal and resin miniature available today. Stretch goals apply to any pledge of $50 or more. (removed due to nudity) SCALE SHOT PAINTED EXAMPLES This project is for unpainted, white metal and/or resin figurines. Models are provided NOT painted. Models are scaled to 28mm toe to eye or 1:60. Models are provided with a plastic tab/slot base. White metal figurines are not toys and are intended only for adults. Estimated shipping fees: U.S. $0 - $5 (U.S. receives free shipping for $50 or more pledges) Canada $0-$15 (Canada receives free shipping for $125 or more pledges) World Wide $0-20 (Free world wide shipping for $175 or more pledges) Customs fees, duties, taxes, tariffs and or additional charges incurred at the shipping destination by the receiver are the responsibility of the receiver. RBJ Game company cannot accept any responsibility for additional charges imposed by the taxing authority of the legal jurisdiction of the receiving residency.
  10. Mainly because a user asked me who made a particular miniature and I can't reload the message to answer it. These are the winter or frost versions of the adventurers in the latest Hasslefree Pin Up kickstarter. The bard (blond, cloak, staff) is called "winter erryn" by Hasslefree. I have asked on the "bones you would like to see" thread for wintery/frostgrave style Bones figures.
  11. I keep a blog of painted miniatures with their model number - awhile back I had painted the werebat from Kickstarter#3 model #169. Is that intended to be 77448 which appears to be missing in the current inventory? Blog with painted model: http://minipaint.blogspot.com/2018/01/reaper-miniatures-werebat-bones3-169.html Thanks, Rick

    Surviving the World

Surviving the World is a webcomic run by an engineering professor on the east coast. After a 10 year run of posting a web comic every day, with the exception of his cats having an emergency, he's calling the conclusion of the comic. However, he's kickstartering a book of the best comics for fans to enjoy.
  13. I backed their first one, and it delivered well and quickly, with very nice quality. Good for in-game props, or game room decor!!!!
  14. This is my first post here! I have been encouraged for a while to join the forums and share some of the mini's that I have painted. I have been painting for many years dabbling in many styles and mediums. I've gotten more serious about my mini work the last couple years though. I was hesitant to share my work, but figured, "What the heck! Why not!" I decided to start with this model as it is one of my favorites to paint and I just love glitter, man! I painted this up for my first con last fall and it was actually purchased by my bestie, he then requested I add the glitter (to match another halfling mini I did for him.) This is now his alternate ego character (he is the DM lol), which in his campaign ge had only revealed himself to be a helpful travelling halfling wizard until this guy was done. Then it was revealed he was a celestial dragon all along and the main adversary...or something like that lol! Please be honest and feel free to C&C! Ultimately I know the owner loves it, but I would love to see what others think!! And thanks for welcoming me into this community! Oh, and as I am sure you guessed, I did get the Bones 3 Kickstarter so, please feel free to request I share any other minis I might have painted already or will paint :)
  15. We currently have a second Kickstarter live at the moment, entitled Starship II - 3D printable OpenLOCK-compatible Deck Plans. The campaign is already over 1300% financed, and we are working on the 8th Stretch Goal. Unpainted PLA at 150 microns Printed on a Flashforge Finder/Creator Pro Unpainted PLA at 150 microns The Sets This campaign's featured sets are shown below (these are renderss). Stretch Goals Unlocked So Far We are now working towards these bonus floor tile types, a grate and plate style in I, S and E tiles
  16. After the first succesfull kickstarter campaign, Gaspez-Arts is preparing the KS campaing for the new Fantasy Football team: the "kickass Cossacks". The Gaspez-Arts team is always the same: Fabio (aka Gaspez-Arts) as manufacturer and the excellent artist Raffaele Stumpo the creator of Bull Warriors - Chaos Dwarf team. Look at the pictures about this ferocious and artistic football team. Stay tuned for more info and pictures in the next days Greetings
  17. The dragon king is a very majestic mini. Like most Kingdom Death minis, he's exquisitely detailed, and simply oozes character. In addition, he's also large enough that it is hard to get a photograph of him that keeps everything in focus. I was very happy to have a chance to paint him up. I got to do a lava face base for him (something that I'll probably do something like this on my own Dragon King when I get around to painting him up). But enough words:

    Kickstarter alert from LifeLock

I just received an alert from LifeLock that information about my Kickstarter account from Kickstarter's website was found being sold on the dark web. I'm going to immediately change my KS password and closely watch the associated credit card account. I suggest others do the same.
  19. For your consideration, I offer you the Frost Giant King from the Bones 3 Kickstarter. He is the pair to the Frost Giant Queen and I am not disappointed in the sculpt. This miniature (bigature?) is packed with details and a metric-ton of space to paint and practice textures. The level of detail for Bones miniatures continues to impress me. The King and Queen were both primed with Krylon and sealed with Dull Cote and neither exhibits tackiness. The bits that stick out - like the butt of the spear - did rub off when I handled it during painting. I really had to work my way from the inside out to paint this big guy. The fur textures on the fur cape was an enjoyable ride. I look forward to seeing what others do with this team of Giants, and I'm eyeballing the release schedule for the Frost Giant Guards. I recommend purchasing the Royalty as soon as they are available. Gratitude for all who participated in the WiP thread. Your enthusiasm kept me going. #respect #gratitude I hope you enjoy. :)
  20. For the most recent works in progress, a gigantic distraction from my poor Death Guard project. In the last week, multiple delayed Kickstarters (and one on-time Nickstarter) arrived...as well as the ReaperCon Swag Bag! Arrivals included: Stonehaven Miniatures Giants Stonehaven Adventurers 2017 Midlam Miniatures "Winter Adventurers" Reapercon Swag Bag Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago Nickstarter While I am trying to complete the Death Guard, I did ready these groups for prime time: The Giants are nicely sized. While there are some issues with the scaling between Giant "tribes" in comparison to 5E entries, they do tower over adventurers. The Wolf Lord, who I expected to be an Ogre-sized werewolf, is massive!
  21. We just launched our Heavy Gear Blitz Utopia Armed Forces Plastic Miniatures Kickstarter at 7:02 pm EST today (January 17th, 2018). The Kickstarter campaigns initial goal is to raise $30,000 CAD (about 23K USD) needed to make the plastic injection mold for the new plastic miniatures and backer rewards. The campaign will run for 17 days ending on Saturday evening at 7:02 pm EST (February 3rd, 2018). We need everyone's support to make these new plastic miniatures for the Utopia faction a reality and if you can share news of the Kickstarter with friends and the online community it would be a great help. We have a great Captain Reward Level at $70 CAD (about $53.85 USD) that includes a Utopia Patch and 3 squads (Strike, Recce, and Support) with a total of 18 plastic miniatures. Stretch Goals, once unlocked, will increase the total to 36 plastic miniatures. Plus higher reward levels add the new MAR-DK drone (resin model) and the large Gilgamesh Command Tank (resin model); see below for artwork and details. Treat yourself to a New Army for the New Year, by clicking on the image above or the link below! https://www.kickstarter.com/…/heavy-gear-blitz-utopia-armed…

    Fateslayer

Fateslayer has been an idea that has been constantly evolving, it has gone through countless names, and changes to its themes and ideas. Finally, I can say the world has started to come together and has started to come alive. It's set in a dark fantasy with a large theme of as you would guess, fate and it's constant struggle to break free from it. Each figure holds a story piece that weaves the world around each other and brings life to the world of Fateslayer. Many of the stories hold secrets and reveals what's to come in the Fateslayer universe. I hope you'll enjoy each of these crafted stories and the many characters that reside inside of it. I wont post any of the pics. Some of them are not safe for work.

    Kentrona Miniatures

About A lone light is on over the table. The players are getting their drinks, snacks, and dice ready as the GM rifles through her notes once more. Last week's map has been rolled out. Michael grabs his phone to look at the picture he took and the end of the last session so you can all get your miniatures in the right spot. Except this time is different. This time you have a new miniature, one that actually represents your character's race. As your compatriots drag out their pre-colored, plastic humans and elves you smile. Pulling out the half-orc you've been using to represent your Netherstorm character, you flick it across the room. In the same fluid motion, you set your new miniature down on the table. A four-armed, metal monster. He has been cast. You have painted him. And now, he is ready for blood. The room goes silent with awe. When we created Netherstorm, we wanted to really show people who we are and how we game. Part of that was coming up with our own, non-standard player races. It was a lot of fun creating, and later playing, characters that weren't the same old elf, dwarf, or half-whatever, however there was a downside. No minis! Maybe you're the GM who likes a good, meticulously drawn map. Maybe you're a player who enjoys finding the perfect likeness of their character, painting it exactly so, and showing it off on the hexagonal battlefield. The bottom line is, miniatures are awesome. But when you have a unique race, miniatures that encapsulate your character are thin on the ground. Finally, we are making our own minis for use with Netherstorm, as well as other systems. We are starting with our four-armed warrior race, the Kentrona. These desert-born brutes boast many great traits, whether as an impressive PC, an NPC, or a monster for the second greatest role-playing game and other and from the comments by the creator: "I can tell you that prompting from others prompted us to commission art for a second miniature, a female Kentrona soldier. We should have it early next week. I will update as changes are made, and rest assured, we will be making some changes very soon. (Including removing all additional shipping charges.) In the meantime, Netherstorm is available on Drive-thru RPG."

Gunny Peegs - Bad Squiddo Games

Finally finished up the Gunny Peegs this weekend - was mostly finishing off the basing. They are small guinnea pigs, with guns, from one of Bad Squiddo Games' Kickstarter (although I believe they are available on her site as well now) More pics:
  25. It ain't the first Flash Gordon RPG. It ain't the first Rocketships and Rayguns RPG. In fact, it's not completely an RPG; you need the Savage Worlds rules to play. But durned if I'm not interested, and they're talking miniatures for sale as well. This is one I'd like to see do pretty well; I'm in... KICKSTARTER: Flash Gordon for Savage Worlds!
