  1. About Through this project we want to launch a new diorama available in two different scales: 32mm and 75mm. All the figures will be casted in high quality resin as always. Our brand explores uncommon fantasy themes, nature and myths. This time we decided to dedicate a diorama to the WINTER season and in particular to the suggestive and fascinating natural spectacle of Northern Lights. The Penguin King has traveled from Antarctica to the Arctic lands in search of the entrance of the legendary kingdom of Agarthi.... PLAY As every miniatures collector know, miniatures aren't simple toys, they are pieces of art. For this reason, we have carefully taken care of all the development of this scene sculpted by Andrey Loktionov and based on a digital painting of Stefano Moroni. The sculpt is done, ready to be casted. If the project will be funded, the diorama will be painted by Aleksandra Cvetanovski (32mm version) and Mirko Cavalloni (75mm version).

  3. Help colorize Gold Digger #3

About Help us colorize the original Black and White Gold Digger series by creator Fred Perry. If you're not familiar with us, my name is Joeming Dunn, and I run Antarctic Press, a small, independent comic company started in 1984. I have personally collected comics of almost every type and genre since 1974, and I can say that during the past 30 years, we have published some of the greatest and best independent comics out there. Our publishing history includes titles like Gold Digger and Ninja High School. The comic industry has changed over the years, so we have started this Kickstarter program to help introduce new projects from our talented group of creators. You may have seen some of other successful and fulfilled campaigns. Over the years, we have published a number of series. Prominent among these is Fred Perry's ingenious title, Gold Digger, which Fred describes as a mixture of Indiana Jones and Final Fantasy. The idea for Gold Digger was first conceived during Fred's tour of duty in the first Gulf War, and it debuted in Antarctic Press's anthology comic, Mangazine, in 1991. A four-issue miniseries followed in 1992, and a regular monthly black-and-white series followed starting in 1993. The current color series began in 1999 and has continued since then. It is the second-longest-running solo-created title in the industry. In 2013, Fred was honored at Comic Con International in San Diego, where he received an Inkpot Award for his work on Gold Digger. One of our most frequently received fan requests over the years is, "When can I see the original black-and-white series of Gold Digger in color?" Getting a book colored is not an easy proposition due to the cost and time involved, and both of those commodities are scarce in the independent publishing world. But with Kickstarter, it is now possible to achieve that goal. We experimented with a previous Kickstarter (Gold Brick #7), and due to its success, we were able to color the first two issues of the black-and-white series. So back in June of 2016 we ran the first part of this campaign and we were able to COLORIZE 5 ISSUES. So out of the 50 Black and White issues that have been released in the past, a total of 12 have been colorized thus far. Here is a small sample of what was done. Below are original and colored pages from Gold Digger #6 (which was colorized in some of our previous Kickstarter). What we would like to do is to continue this process with issue #13 of the series, since the first 12 issues are already funded. Here is a PDF link for Gold Digger #13... http://antarcticpresslibrary.com/gdbw/gdbw13.pdf The money collected will go to paying the colorist to perform the task of coloring. And for each $1200 we collect beyond the first, we will color the next issue. For instance, if we collect a total of $2300 with this campaign, we will then proceed to color issue #14; if we collect at least $3400, we'll have issue #15 colored, and so forth and so on. Supporters will receive the PDFs of each completed issue that is colored plus the issues that have already been colored. Wouldn't you like to see the many great Gold Digger moments in color? Theo versus the Lich King, the first appearance of the Leprechaun mecha, Ace's 747 battle against Dark Bird, Gina and Penny's wedgie war, the first appearance of Ryan, and the epic Time Warp saga are but a few of stories that can be eventually colorized.
  4. Mother of Dragons

About The concept for Mother of Dragons was born a few years ago. I still recall seeing the beautiful illustration made by Stéphane Wootha Richard posted on his Facebook profile and I fell in love with her immediately – I knew immediately that I wanted to bring her to life in miniature form. Fortunately, Stéphane was also very excited about the idea of a collaboration. We were inspired and driven to start working on the project that we both felt so passionate about and now, with much pride we can finally share this project with you all. What you see here required 2 years of committed development, during which time, our team has created and implemented many variants until we made of it a full range, indeed in addition to the varied scale of the main subject , you will find unique versions such as the bust or the lovely "super deformed" miniature. In fact, this is the characteristic of all of our Kickstarter campaigns — we always enjoy experimenting with new products and offering you something you've never seen before. Every successful kickstarter campaign enable us to share our dreams with the most supportive community in the world. In Mother of Dragons you will find exciting new figures as well as numerous artefacts (artefacts? – I hear you say. Exactly)! Be ready for an ancient Dragon Jar, or a real dragon’s tooth. One thing is certain. They will not be the only exclusives to catch your attention. Now with your continued help and support; it’s time to bring this project to life! So why support this project? Well, first because you’re a hobbyist and a modeller and you can’t wait to lay your hands on a new figure. Second, because the Mother of Dragons will also appeal to your collector’s side; she will be the “queen” of your showcase, no matter the scale, you choose. Apart from the main subject of this campaign, as usual, we’re offering great deals, rewards, add-ons and freebies, indeed Kabuki Studio places great importance to Kickstarter and for this reason the benefits/conditions offered will never be seen again outside the campaign, not even in the pledge manager/late backer's option. More views of our 1/8 Mother Of Dragons and some close-up In PDF format, you will qualify for guides related to your pledge’s scale; i.e. If you backed “Baby Dragon” pledge level, you will receive the painting guide for the 1/50 version; if instead you backed for “Dragon Host” you will receive them all. The artists in charge are: Riccardo Agostini (Italy) – 1/50 scale Keigo Murakami (Japan) – 1/24 scale Arnau Lazaro Azcarate (Spain) – bust (1/8 scale) Keigo Murakami (Japan) – 1/8 scale (full figure) You qualify for the guide even you have required the painted versions. 5. Prehistoric Park Video Game

Non-Mini, PC Video Game - Dinosaur / prehistoric animal Tycoon. Accurate models, highly customizable gameplay I know it's not mini-related, but I also know some of you might have kids who like dinosaurs (or like them yourself), and this is a good educational game because they actually did research, applied current and up to date science to their models, and i figured some people here might actually be interested. If not? Ah well! I just thought i'd make a post for it There are 50 Species planned for Early Access, with more planned "Prehistoric Kingdom is a modern take on the tycoon simulator game genre, focused on building and managing your very own prehistoric-themed zoo, populating it with a large variety of extinct animals and opening its gates to the public for your guests to enjoy. 7. About Maki Games and Royal Art Games are raising funds to start the production of a resin version for our chaos teams. Both Chaos teams are a collection of amazing miniatures made previously in high quality white metal and soon in high quality resin. 16 different miniatures per team, including a Big Guy (Bloodthirsty Beast or Minotaur, depending on the team). Don´t loose the chance to support this amazing project! Given the constant increase in the price of metal and the growing competition for fantasy football teams, we felt the need for more affordable yet top quality products. For these reasons we decided to switch the production line from metal to resin. For this project we partnered with Royal Art Games for the manufacturing of resin teams since they have proven to be able to manufacture resin teams for fantasy football at the highest standards. The metal teams will soon be discontinued so this is the best chance to get a team in metal, if you like your players to "hit like solid metal". The Blood Demons Team includes 9 Pit Fighters, 4 Blood Demons, 2 Blood Demons Heralds and 1 Bloodthirsty Beast. Ares Blood Demons were designed by Macs Gallo, sculpted by Jin Vi and painted by AXIA. 11. As seen at ReaperCon! About What is MagRelief? MagRelief is a great new material Happy Seppuku came up with to help gamers and model builders add modular elements to their projects. MagRelief is a light duty flexible cloth like material that that is MAGNETIC RECEPTIVE, meaning while not a magnet itself you can stick magnets to the surface. We also textured it using patterns from our stamp line to give MagRelief sheets a realistic surface, so even if you do not take advantage of its magnetic qualities you can still use it to quickly surface your terrain pieces. After you have applied MagRelief your buildings, dungeon walls, or even bases you can add magnets to the backs of your doors, windows, damage markers. No longer do your pieces need to remain static, you can change them around completely from game to game. Secret doors CAN ACTUALLY BE SECRET since you can just pop the door anywhere along the wall there is no hint to your players that they should keep searching the room for a door. What can I use it on? One of the great parts of MagRelief is its flexibility, because it is cloth like you can easily wrap it around surfaces like building corners or round towers. You can cut it with a hobby knife or scissors allowing you to use it on complex shapes. Can I paint it? Yes you can! You can use just about any paint you can pick up in your hobby or craft store. What size does it come in? MagRelief is purchased by the square foot, it comes in 4 (four) 6"x6" sheets. The texture patterns are all fairly regular and easy to blend one sheet to the next. I see more than just MagRelief here. What else is there? We have a couple of items to support the use of MagRelief. During the development we came up with some magnet accessories, jigs to help you make walls, and a mould to let you make your own parts ready for magnets. that you can check out down in the add-on section. There are more details on these down in the add-on section. How is this Kickstarter broken down? Intro/Current stretch goal Pledge levels- Details on pledge levels you can see in the pledge section, all items in your pledge have a corresponding item in our Add-on section, you can check them out there. You will also see our pledge rewards this time have a Bronze, Silver, and Gold label next to them, this is how we will show you what bonus items you get. Pledge Bonus Items- This section will show you what extra items you get from stretch goals, there are three bonus levels Bronze, Silver, and Gold, that all tie to the different pledge levels. Add-Ons- This section breaks down all the items in more detail and shows you the cost should you want to pick up extra items in addition to your pledge. Here is also where you can find the available textures or theme sets. Stretch Goals- This is where we will break down which goals we have unlocked and what is coming up. Most will unlock additional textures to choose from, but some will add to the Pledges Bonus Items to the three levels. Bonus Levels This Kickstarter we broke the pledge levels into Bronze, Silver, and Gold. This way you can quickly see what has been added to your pledge level with out having to look though your individual level each time. Each level tells you what we have added and up-coming stretch goals that will add to that level. Add-ons Here is a list of all of the items that you can get though this Kickstarter, both though pledge levels and as add-ons.
  12. About Dice Towers for a price in line with its function (rolling dice) Like you, we play a lot of board games. Anyone who plays board games knows that rolling dice is a pain in the broccoli. You lose them under furniture. You ruin your board games by knocking over all your pieces. A common solution is to get a dice tower but dice towers aren't cheap. They can range from $30 to $200. But... if all its meant to do is roll dice why is it so expensive? That's why we created the Dice Tower of Power. It's a simple solution to a very simple problem. Why spend $200 for something that can be replaced by a piece of cardboard? Why the Dice Tower of Power? It's made of recycled cardboard so its good for the environment. It takes about a minute to assemble. It can be disassembled for easy transport and storage. It's durable and can take a lot of punishment. If you spill a drink on it or somehow destroy it - no big deal its cheap to replace. 3 Dice Towers are perfect for 4-6 players! 3 Dice Towers for $25 (or less) One other benefit of the Dice Tower of Power is that we sell them in packages of 3. Most games are played with 4-6 people. So with 3 dice towers you don't have to pass the dice towers around. Just pass the dice. This saves time and is a lot more convenient. Lastly, the price. We're selling 3 dice towers for $25. So for less than the price of one dice tower available today you get 3. Easy to Assemble! Instructions are included but just in case we made this video too: PLAY Great for Events and Tournaments The Dice Tower of Power is great for tournaments and events too. We sell larger quantities of 10 and 100 as well. We hope you enjoy the DICE TOWER OF POWER! Hand Crafted & Perfected for our own gameplay We're makers at heart and we LOOOOVVEEE building things. We made at least 10-15 prototypes to get this thing right (all were recycled :). We meant to use it just for own game nights but we found everyone wanted their own or knew someone who wanted one so we're sharing it with the world via Kickstarter! If you're going to do it... perfect it!

Today's books use high quality paper, full color throughout, and are a joy to read. The price on that, however, are books that cost $50 or more. And then you take them to your friends to play, or to the gaming store, or to a convention, and slowly the covers wear down with surface friction. Unlike plastic book covers, the leather shouldn't adhere to the cover of your book making it the perfect protector for your RPG book investment.
  18. About Project Background: With every project we embark on, we always set out to make top quality products that you just can't find elsewhere. We enjoy pushing the boundaries of everyday items and turn ordinary objects into extraordinary objects. We typically like to work with Copper & Silver, but in order to form these objects, we first have to make a forming die. In order to make it be able to form these metals, we have to use a very strong, special steel that will never bend or dis-form. To achieve this, we have to use a ultra strong metal alloy, Tool Steel. The Strongest Dice Ever Made!!! We want to set out and push the boundaries a little and create a dice that you truly will never be able to destroy! A dice that will put all other to shame and will literally be able to "crush" the competition! Is it really necessary to create a dice that you would never be able to destroy, it's debatable. But one could then argue that any dice besides a white plastic injected dice is not necessary either! I for one find the dice I use while playing games helps emerge me into the game and even give me that added confidence. Imagine taking these dice to your game night with your friends and "rolling" them out! Knowing that your dice is no match for your opponents, makes it half the fun and boosts excitement for the game! Designs: We currently have three designs to choose from, Traditional Pips, Dragon, and Skull designs. Each of these designs have The Copper Kingdom shield logo as the one side. You may choose from any of these three styles and if you're getting multiple dice, you may mix and match styles to make up your custom dice collection! Style choices will be collected on the survey. Three Style of Choose From: Skulls, Pips & Dragons How The Dice Are Made: In order to create these dice, a combination of precision machining as well as hands on labor is needed. I will be commissioning a local machine shop to create the tool steel cubes. Once I have the special tool steel cubes, I will be individually engraving each dice. Each side will be individually carved, having to be hand turned six times (one for each side). The process to carving all six sides of the dice will take almost an hour per dice due to the strength of the steel and the small size of the engraver in order to create the detail. Unlike other materials that can allow the images to be stamped or formed with the designs, this steel won't allow it. From this point each dice will need to go into a special oven in order to harden the high end tool steel to its full strength. They will get heated to 1750 degrees for an hour, followed by a series of controlled lower step down temps to make the metal fully treated and as hard as possible. The final step will be sand blasting and polishing the dice to the desired finish. Hardening & Tempering Process for these Dice takes 24 hours! How Strong Are These Dice? I will be having these dice made from a high quality Tool Steel. This is the same type of steel that the US Mint uses to stamp coins and is able to withstand hundreds of tons of pressure before it bends or breaks. The steel dice start out only a little stronger than most other steels, but after the designs are carved into the faces, they are forged into an oven at almost 1800 degrees! This process of heat treating and conditioning the special steel takes over 18 hours! Once this process is done however, the steel is incredibly strong. While it may not be be 100% indestructible, for all practical purposes it is. You can drop them, smash them, try to crush them in a high powered press, run over then with your car, hit them with a sledge hammer, and they will still hardly show a scratch!
  19. Denizens of the Smog

About Dark is the night as the dense smog falls once again on the streets of the East End. Shadows hustle from corner to corner, some trying to eke out a meagre living from the scraps of the Machine Age, some out on more nefarious errands, be it to cut a throat for a purse of pennies or to strike at the heart of their machinocratic betters. When Charles Babbage perfected his Analytical Engine, few could have predicted the social upheaval that would follow. Fuelled by coal, powered by increasingly complex and efficient steam engines, controlled by unfeeling machines and faceless bureaucrats, the pulsating heart of the British Empire is split asunder along the front-lines of the factory lords, the old and failing aristocracy and the huddled masses, especially those left behind by the uncaring pace of progress. In the East End, long a pit of the despaired and destitute, unrest is growing. Disaffected engineers and factory workers put out of work by increasing mechanisation are supplying anarchists and simple criminals with advanced tools for their illicit trades. Outside of the Capital, railway lines and steam-coach roads are plagued by the scourge of Highwaymen, an evil long thought gone from the modern age. Equipped with modern means of transportation and deadly-efficient weaponry, few dare to resist such a hold-up, and once the Peelers arrive, the villains have made off with their ill-gotten gains. To combat this wave of crime, Special Branch have set up a crack team to pinpoint and arrest key figures, hopefully before the situation boils over and creates an all-consuming deluge of Anarcho-Communard revolution and rampant crime. Set 01: Tarjack McGillivray and Apprentice, Burglars Extraordinaire Utilising a steam-powered grappling hook, Tarjack McGillivray is responsible for the most daring burglaries of the last decade. Able to scale the sheerest walls, he and his nameless apprentice have struck at the fortified city-homes of Coal and Railway barons alike, blasting open even the strongest vaults and safes with steel-tipped torpedo drills. Set 02: Anarchist Assassins Hiding from the smog and the watchful eye of Special Branch behind respirator mask, it is unknown from where these ruthless killers hail. All that is known is that they use bespoke hunting rifles to strike at prominent figures of the machine age, and it is feared that it is only a matter of time until they strike at Her Majesty herself. Set 03: Inspector Semaphore and Constable Chopham A gruff and unscrupulous man, Inspector Joseph Semaphore is Special Branch’s A-1 man to investigate the growing unrest in the seedier parts of Greater London. Well aware of the people’s dislike, the coppers only come in well-armed and in sufficient numbers to apprehend suspects. Set 04: Detectives Boyle and Cody Low on the ladder of Her Majesty’s Metropolitan Police Force, Boyle and Cody were noticed for their unconventional approach to Police work and drafted into Special Branch to assist Inspector Semaphore in his investigations. Set 05: John Halibut, RN (ret.) and Harry “The Hook” An old tar, Captain Halibut lost his arm in a boiler explosion in an action against Fenian gun-runners. Now on half-pay, he commands the Stevedores’ Chapter of the citizens’ watch, patrolling the streets of Poplar, assisted by his erstwhile steward, Harry “The Hook”. Ostensibly a respected citizen, it is rumoured that he holds more than a small grudge against the upper classes, and his loyalties, if put to the test in outright revolt, might be less than clear. Set 06: Florence Tempest and Henrietta Hammersmith, Night-fighting Ladies Following the ghastly Ripper murders, some of the women working the streets of Whitechapel decided to no longer put up with it and formed a covert militia. Armed with modern weapons supposedly designed by Mick Turnpike himself, they secretly patrol the district, striking fear into the hearts of all but the most vicious or insane. Set 07: The Two Jacobs, Concerned Citizens Tailor and Shoemaker by trade, Jacob Minsky and Jacob Rechtman took up arms to protect themselves and their community from protection rackets and the more prejudiced. They are part of the Whitechapel Chapter of the citizens’ watch and, while it is beneath their dignity to rat on their neighbours, are willing to cooperate with the police to maintain some semblance of order in the East End. Set 08: Charles and Edward Cholmondeley-Chapelcourt, Gentry Volunteers Unable to maintain their family estate in the economic upheavals of the Industrial Revolution, the Brothers Cholmondeley-Chapelcourt came to London, only to find little employ for educated, but untrained sons of the Gentry. Good manners, sharp wit and not too much condescension to the unwashed rabble of the lower classes landed them in Special Branch. Set 09: The Galvanic Gentleman The wonders of the machine age are not just used for industry and commerce or other villainous activities. The mysterious stranger only known as The Galvanic Gentleman strikes from the shadows, wearing an armoured suit powered by Galvano-electric energy supplied by his trusty batman Alfred. Scores of villains have been left shocked senseless for the coppers to ferry off to Newgate.
  20. About Halfling Borderlands Welcome to my latest Kickstarter. Firstly I'll confess my love for OldSchool Miniatures & Tabletop Games. I always wanted a Halfling Army to play with in Warhammer 2nd & 3rd. I never forgave Games Workshop for removing all my favourite Armies, especially Gnomes, Halflings and Hobgoblins. That was one of the main reasons I stuck with 3rd edition Warhammer. Halflings are great for Skirmish games too. I envisioned this Kickstarter to provide some rural Farming Halfling types and the animals that they rear and protect. I worked in conjunction with Langley Miniatures on this Kickstarter. Like the last one, I'm working towards a quick turnaround. Everyone should have their orders by the end of January. I would also like to take the time to personally thank everyone who has supported my sculpting endeavors. Much appreciated. Andy T.
