  1. Painted this guy for a PFS game at Gencon that I didn't end up playing. Still, I like how he turned out. I removed his dagger but unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to make his hand look better after. His eyes didn't quite turn out and there is something wired about his mouth when viewed up close, but I am very happy with his base. Hmm zoomed in from behind you can still see the remainder of his sword grip. may revisit that and try to fix it.
  2. Do you want to Run a Game? By Game, we mean Any RPG, any board game, card game, or miniatures game for which you need table space and up to 6 chairs. We are making a few changes to how we register games you'd like to run. This year we have a link on the Reapercon.com website for events to be submitted. It will reduce the amount of time I'll need to spend on follow up and provide all the information Bryan needs to get your items listed on the Con Site. https://reapercon.com/submit_games Until we approve your completed form, please do not solicit for players as your event is not confirmed. With the venue change, tables are fewer and your event is not a sure thing until we get back to you. I won't be accepting requests via comments in thread or via PM. If and only if you have questions about the form, please email me: ladystorm@reapermini.com Please use a clear subject line so my filters don't move you to Spam folders. Thanks, Cheryl

    03044: Burl Oakfist, Dwarf Monk

I finished this guy up a few days ago. I just now got some pictures of him. I'm fairly happy with how he turned out. I've been working on him along with a few other things that I've either been meaning to get to or needed to be finished up. He's the first one done despite being a "meaning to get to" rather than a "needing to be finished." Also, I think I may have figured out this camera thing on the Ipad. He's another Pathfinder Society character. He only gets played when my wife plays her Sorceress though. He'll be a Drunken Master/ Alchemist named Dharim Barrelfist. Enjoy.
  4. Hi! One of my buddies sent me this link. I want to enter but I have only played home campaigns of pathfinder, so sadly, I may not be able to... unless anyone has a character they want me to try to paint.. Whether a favorite player character or a beloved NPC, as long as it is from the Pathfinder Society and your creation it counts. The prize? Gift certificates to paizo.com! The crunchy bits for entering: You may only enter once Entries must be submitted to contest@paizo.com Include a photo of your mini and a name for the character portrayed (NOTE: Photos may be resized or cropped to better show off the mini for voting. Tengu Mage from Stonehaven

This was my Pathfinder Society character for the friday night Pahfinder special at Gencon He was a tengu Oracle named Mojie Blackfeathers. He seemd like he was photographing well but he was a deceptive little elfhole as tengu tend to be and just didn't want to make certain details that I was proud of stand out. I may attempt some better photos tomorrow. Still figuring out my lighting. Edit: Sorry uploader was being dumb.

    Orginized Play

So, I'm heading to Connecticon next month; a multi-genre convention about 30 minutes from home. While there I plan on getting some gaming in, most likely some Pathfinder Society and some of the 5th edition Adventure League. I have never actually played either one of these games in a con setting. I've downloaded and read the player guides for each and have a general grasp of the rules: Make a character, join a level appropriate game and have fun. Beyond that I'm not sure. Does anyone have any advice for a first timer? Anything in particular to avoid? Recommended classes, factions, and so forth?
  7. Hey all, So I am finally around for the local convention; http://connecticon.org/ The only other convention I've been to so far was PAX East. This con is much more varied as there will be gaming, LARPing, Costuming, movies ect (evidently standard con fare to most of you who have already been to cons). I have a few questions. 1. Is anyone else going? If so would you like to have a meet up. 2. Any suggestions for a new con-goer to do? I'm planning to get some shopping in, meet in person all of these web-comic artists I like, and go to a few of the panels. And get some gaming in as well; which brings me to 3. Pathfinder Society. It looks like there are a bunch of PFS games going on. I've never gotten involved in them but am interested in giving it a shot. Anyone got the inside scoop on how these things are run, and what I have to do/bring to get involved in a game/games? I'm going to go through the PFS site and read up on it, but I'm pretty sure that some of the folks here have a lot of experience with PFS and even some run games at cons. So, any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
