    Great Cthulhu

Got my start on Cthulhu last week. Did a prime in black, then zenithal pre-shade white from above. Purple from below, then green from above. Liking the effect so far, think I'm done with the airbrush, gonna move on to regular painting.

    Help with airbrushing?

Hey guys. I'm back after having my wisdom teeth removed :/ nasty surgery had to have some recovery. But I started painting again and I was wondering; am I getting speckling here? It used to be really bad but I diluted down a touch and I think it's better. Could use some help.

    Nyarlathoptep

Some in progress works of nyar as I work on him. Started with black primer, airbrushed white pre shading, drybrushed transparent dioxane purple, accenting the shadows, then coated in transparent pthalo blue.
  4. Alright go these guys to a serviceable spot for a test game tomorrow. Forgot that there was a third one, I know I had it when priming and pre-shading, probably the hounds of tindalos again. DAMN THOSE CORNERS. Btw does anyone have any suggestions, beyond "just don't touch them," for playing games with half painted minis? I don't want to varnish them and was hoping there was a better way. @Talae I know you play while wip, do you do anything special?

Final part of the Black Goat faction down. Tell me what you guys think!
  8. Just finished the Mi-Go from the black goat faction and thought I would put up pictures of them and the cultists and ghouls I finished before. C&C always appreciated!

    Shub Niggurath

Alright so finished Shub Niggurath of the Black Goat faction for Cthulhu Wars. I think she turned out well, and this is probably the most success I've had with highlighting so far. Pretty happy with her. WIP here:

    Fungi from Yuggoth

Took a break from painting over the holidays, now I'm back to the Black Goat faction from Cthulhu Wars. Started on the Mi-Go without a clear color scheme in mind and I think it shows. Any ideas what I can do to fix would be greatly appreciated! This one is the flag model that I was trying color schemes out on and I think the one I ended up with looks disconcerting but not in a good way. And these are the other 3, basecoated, pre shaded, with purple underlighting, and some drybrushing.

  12. Campaign Link Lonely? Pining for the seashore? Do It With a Deep One! Hot single deep ones in your area are looking to meet you! And Petersen Games can help. We’ll ship you an Undersea Contact Device. Simply say the prayer as shown below, and drop the device (made of durable rock!) into the nearest large body of water. If a Deep One settlement is close enough, you’ll be getting a midnight visit within the following week. Be sure to affix your name and address to the rock, so your aquatic pals can find you more quickly. It’s just that easy! Your new friends will initiate you into the Cult of Dagon. Once you’ve taken the Third Oath of Dagon, you’ll get a Deep One of your very own to have and to hold. Until death do you part. And your kids will live forever! That’s right. Any offspring from this unhallowed union will start out looking just like cute little human babies, the type everyone loves. Of course, human children eventually grow up, and get less cute, and these do the same. They just take a different path towards un-cute-ness! The Prayer When you drop the device into the water, just say this prayer! (You might want to write it down and keep it on hand, for convenience.) Be sure to say it perfectly, or it might not work. Petersen Games is not liable for the side effects of mispronunciations.
