    Kyra, Iconic Cleric (Bones) (89015)

This week I painted Kyra, Iconic Cleric, from the Bones I Iconics II Pathfinder Miniatures set. She looked to me to be suitably clothed for adventures in a cold environment; so, since I am short on Templar type figures for Frostgrave, I decided to paint her as such a figure for my Frostgrave collection. Unfortunately, this is one of the figures from the Bones I Kickstarter that ended up with nose issues. For gaming purposes this doesn't bother me too much, and a nice heavily highlighted nose paint job helps hide the fact that she barely has one; though you can tell there still isn't something right about it...
  2. This week I finished up the Derro Mage from the Bones 2, Expansion 1, Derro Set. I plan to use him as a Soothsayer type wizard for Frostgrave. I'm really pleased with how this fellow turned out. I'm particularly proud of the big eye on his chest. I think he and the Apprentice I posted earlier make a pretty good "odd couple" Soothsayer pair.

    Amiri, Iconic Barbarian (89005) (Bones)

Over the weekend I finished up the Amiri, Iconic Barbarian, figure from the Bones 1 Kickstarter Iconics and Officially Licensed Pathfinder Miniatures Set. I tried making her weapons look like they were made from obsidian; and while I'm generally happy, I was a bit sloppy with the painted highlights on the spearheads. Anyway, she's for tabletop use, so nothing too fancy. As always, C&C welcome.
  4. Alright! Now I am working on Sandru Vhiski. We'll be using him for the swashbuckler/bard in our DragonLance campaign. I simply ADORE Martin Jones' paint job of him, so I am going to more-or-less be copying it (although not half as well!). 1. Primed! 2. Base colours blocked out with some of the details, etc. I got interrupted tonight, or I would have got a bit more done. Next up is some touch ups, followed by shading and highlighting. And yes, if you look closely you can see chest hair. ;) Current soundtrack is Little Boots.

    03321: Damien, Hellborn Wizard

Here's my next Reaper Bones gaming figure, for my friend's Tiefling Beguiler, Thorne In-Yo-Cide (Yeah, that's really his name). The figure is Damien, Hellborn Wizard (03321) by Derek Schubert. It's a beautiful sculpt!
