    Warhammer: Demon Prince Be’lakor

Here my latest work. I keep trying and trying with black: highliting black. I tried with blue for a while till I was quite happy with it, and now I’m trying with grey which is more difficult... it does show here, since it completely reads as grey skin but oh well, it’s still a job I’m happy with. That’s Be’lakor, one of the finest demon figures ever made by any manufacturer. First chaos everchosen, first mortal to ascend to demonhood, blessed and cursed, the lord of the dark...

    Slimux and Mulch WIP

For my birthday, I received a mini I'd had my eye on for a while, Slimux and Mulch! Slimux:- He's a gardener, a demon gardener. And Mulch:- Is his loyal plough-snail. Started on Mulch today:- His shell was based with Hexed Lichen, then had drybrushes of 1:1 Hexed Lichen/Warlord Purple > Warlord Purple > 1:1 Warlord Purple/Squid Pink > Squid Pink, and then I painted Pure Black into the cracks and deep recesses. Finally I glazed over the whole thing with some thinned Blue Ink. As usual I used too much Glaze Medium, so I'm going to work on Slimux while it dries, if it dries.

    Demonkin (tiefling) Rogue - Darksword

Something I painted for a friend. This is tiefling #2 of 5 so far. Hoping that before he starts the new campaign that players may pick as their characters. A short work in progress can be found on my just for fun blog/website EYEDAMAGEART Fire and Ice!

    Imps

These are 3 little imps/demons that I pulled off the melt table at Reapercon last year. I'm not sure of manufacturer, so if you recognize them, please let me know. I think they may be from a 15mm figure range. I bashed these guys out over he course of a couple evenings about a week ago. Thanks for looking. With (in need of a touch up) Sir Forscale:

ONI OGRE CLAN WARS, by Glitterwolf

Another Clan Wars mini I got from @Jasper_the_2nd for my Nippon, Land of the Rising Moon project. This time an ONI OGRE. WIP HERE: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79416-nippon-land-of-the-rising-moon-by-glitterwolf/ When asked for their allegiance the Oni joined forces with the murdered Toda Clan and the last survivors. Due to the family ties they swore to annihilate the Kenmu Clan for their foul deeds. In battle these Oni terrified the enemy, larger than men and wielding huge weapons they cut their way through the Kenmu ranks.

    Hasslefree Miniatures, Demon child

Here is a little demon guy that I painted to use as a quasit for my Dungeons & Dragons campaign. I drilled and pined a set of Reaper Demonic Wings to give him a more demonic look, not to mention to give him the ability to fly. I think it was item #03182. I have never ever tried to drill and pin something so darn tiny.
  7. This will be yet another Undead /Demon Army. ( what can I say? I love evil miniatures). This army has an Asian theme. Undead Samurai Oni Asian Dragons Some living Asian Allies. Kirin Hope you will enjoy it. I created a background story for it, it is on page 2. Have fun reading! I will paint slowly and it may take a while, but I'm putting this out here to start. Since I backed Zentih's Kensei Undead KS I have a few of the Undead Samurai and Demons waiting I also have the Grenadier Wind Dragon ( alas without the two humans) and the Grenadier Imperial Dragon of the Eleven Celestial Dynasties And some Living Samurai. Also a nice Asian Graveyard Set. Some stuff that has to get painted soon..
  8. This is Reaper 03042, the second version of Morrdha, Vampire Noble, sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. I don't know what his story is, but both versions are casting something from a book of Up to No Good, and both have a little demon thing lurking at their feet. I loved the lively cape on this figure, and the melodrama. I decided to paint him ginger and make his armor look appallingly rusty. Oh, right, and while I did not exactly do NMM or anything, I did paint his sword with pigmented colors instead of my usual sloshing on of metallic silver. There is no WIP thread, but I would be happy to answer questions. Comments and critiques are also welcome.
  9. From the Kensei Undead KS. A Kubikajiri Demoness enjoying her dinner.. She is part of my Nippon, Land of the Rising Moon project. WIP http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79416-nippon-land-of-the-rising-moon-by-glitterwolf/&page=2
  10. This is a vintage mini, Grenadier Dragonman Sorcerer, I got it from a BOGW a few years ago. I will use him as a Demon Officer in my Children of the Grave army, because I think he looks a bit like a classic Demon. WIP http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79298-children-of-the-grave-by-glitterwolf/&page=4 Enjoy!

    Grenadier Balrog

This is an old Grenadier Balrog that i recently rediscovered owning. I decided to go ahead and paint him up; he's only been waiting for....a while. Yeah, let's just leave it at that. No numbers... Anyway, I did my usual, hopefully decent tabletop paint job on him. I was stuck on his sword for a while; I really didn't know where to go with it. I finally decided to try to paint it up sorta resembling fire. If I'd been thinking before I started painting him, I would've tried sculpting some flames on the flat parts of the sword blade. Oh well, hindsight is always 20/20, right? I was also considering doing some OSL on him, but chickened out on that. Maybe next time... Please let me know what you think.

    Siri's Demon Wolf (Conversion)

My second converted monster from 2015 ReaperCon conversion class. I took him apart and re-sculpted all the pieces back on to make it blend better, since i'm tons better at working green stuff than i was when i took the class The greenstuff going up the tail is fur

    Reaper Bones Succubus

Finally finished this demon chick (Reaper 77281) to decent tabletop stadard. She had been sitting on my bench half painted a long time. Her face had a flash line on one side, so I tried to make it look like a fresh wound.
  14. This one is cool, IMO. Ever wished that Shadow Demon came in a different color than Purple? Once again, presenting my experiments with translucent Bones and Tamiya Clears. Warning Pic Heavy First off, an untouched Shadow Demon: With Tamiya Clear Gloss: Untouched next to the one with the clear gloss: Tamiya Clear Red: Tamiya Clear Orange: Tamiya Clear Yellow: Tamiya Clear Green: Tamiya Clear Blue: Tamiya Clear Smoke: All of them, in all their glory: As you can see, the Tamiya clears can actually change the color while maintaining the translucency on the smaller and thinner parts. The only one that doesn't do this to the same degree as the others is the Smoke. Hope people find this useful.
  15. C&C and advice always welcome. Started working on this awesome tiefling/demon. Cleaned off mold lines, except the one on his outstretched arm and hand. The file wouldn't cooperate. Working on his face/head and just wanted to show some pictures. Yesterday, I was frustrated with the mouth, still am. Paints I used for the skin: 29843: HD Solid Black 09427: Nut Brown 09401: Dragon Red 09404: Cinnamon Red Did this in layers Shadow = Solid Black : Nut Brown (1:3) Nutbrown Nutbrown : Dragon Red (1:1) Dragon Red Dragon Red : Cinnamon Red (1:1) Cinnamon Red Spent 4 hours on the skin and face. I'm happy with where he's going at the moment. Tiefling art online for clothes has been rather uninspiring. So many browns, muted tones, or drab colors.
  16. I've decided on the figures I'm using for this project now too, they changed since last time. I want to enter it into this year's Reapercon Diorama category (of course) and I want it to qualify for Bombshell Babes diorama, so I'm picking out 5 babes to battle the keeper (RBG) and his summoned demon (reaper glabrezu): 1) Celeste - Sorceress/wizard, 2) Khai the Huntress - ranger, going to weapon swap her to give her a bow, 3) Thorga Half Orc - Barbarian, Astrid Thunderhammer - Cleric, and Sister Vasha Fane - Paladin. This piece will be 2 stories tall, it will have a lot of details and a lot of action, with a summoning circle that the Glabrezu is inside of at the time the heroines come rushing into the Keeper's Sanctum. The badelf adventuring party! Vs..... The Keeper and his summoned Glabrezu

77316: Demon Lord of the Undead

Finally finished the Demon Lord of the Undead or rather I guess Orcus. Started doing this when I received Bones II. So that should give you all an idea how long it has been sitting there on the painting desk in my study. Was going to do the whole thing in greens/blues. But decided about 1/4 of the way into painting I would do it in a more traditional ruby/crimson skinned look. Which then became a dark toned ruby/crimson scheme. Such a great feeling to finish something that seems to have taken a eternity. Talk about torment!
  18. So - my next small project - I cannot keep with just one ... errrr. After having a small but nice talk with @SGHawkins09 and being sent home by the doc to cure a sickness I recently picked up, I had to decide what to do next. As all those wonderful and enthusiatic responses to my previous projects (I mean it - I never had so much response in such a short time) made it near to impossible to just sign off from the forums and disappear into the wilderness, I agreed to take on a different plan. I just grabbed into my miniature box and took some figures to paint them and get them done. And then it struck me: I am at the Reaper Forums yet I missed to paint a Reaper miniature. So I picked out ... errr - let me see ... Troll Slayer Sophie! Yay! - hey! Hooooraaay! Who the heck is Troll Slayer Sophie and when did I buy her? It seems I already started to paint her, but then decided otherwise, stripped *chuckles* her and put her away. Hm. Good point to start her all over again. As I chose her to be the figure I wanted to paint next I had to think about the color scheme I wanted to use. Well. I had no idea. I never really cared about fantasy style, so it never meant anything to me. The things I know about are modern or sci fi. I played a lot of Warhammer40k back in the days. I even wrote fanfiction stories which included the Imperial Guard and the Sisters of Battle ... ... Sisters of Battle ... hm. that could make a great colour scheme. Works well with the flesh tones and still contrasts it. And as Sophie is a demon, the demon/witch hunter theme fits her rather perfectly. I'll take it! Well then - primed her and started painting. But I am not sure - do I want to give her skin the grim dark appearance of an Adepta or a more Succubi-like appearance like ... this one: Succubus Suggestions?
  19. So, I've started going through my Bones figures and this is one of my first finished efforts the picture in the book was meant to be a constellation but looks more like a plant.

    77376: Minotaur Demon Lord

Introducing the newest demon lord in my miniatures collection... The Minotaur Demon Lord, aka Baphomet, aka "the Horned King", aka "the Prince of Beasts." This miniature was quite a bit bigger than the metal demon lord minis I've painted previously. A bit of a challenge, but I'm pleased with the result! If anyone is interested in the play-by-play of me painting this miniature, feel free to check out the work in progress thread on the forum. Cheers! -E.E.

    77376: Minotaur Demon Lord (WIP)

So, this Minotaur fellow has been staring at me in pieces for a while now. I've decided the time has come to get painting, and while I'm at it, make my first ever WIP post. Because in the words of the great Devo: "When a demon miniature comes along, you must WIP it!" End goal: mini to be used in my D&D campaign. He doesn't need to be display quality, but I'll still welcome your tips and suggestions to improve my work. So far I've just put down some brown liner and temporarily stuck it together to make sure everything is on track. Currently mixing up colours for the base coat... More soon! -E.E.
  23. My Fire Demon was missing his lower jaw so I liberated Goroloth's head to replace it. At that point his wings weren't impressive enough and he some new ones from Rauthuros. The whole conversion took an hour and a half. Due to the nature of the wing conversion and needing everything stable while I figured out how to attach them I had to glue everything but the shoulder pads, hands, and base together. Those pieces will not be glued till at least base coating. Also have to do some minor greenstuff blending around the wing joins and between the head and neck. I may potentially swap out the sword for something else, trident maybe. At any rate, here's the pictures!

    77113: Eldritch Demon

Hey gang! Thought I'd post the Eldritch Demon I painted recently. I decided to take a departure from the iconic green flesh mythos monster look and try a more orangey-jaundice flesh tone. Also used a yellow/orange mix to highlight the cool patterns covering the skin. Also, used the MSP Adamantium Black to give the base a neat volcanic/space rock look. I did keep the tentacles a traditional pink colour. Just seemed to fit with the whole new flesh, soft and squishy, feel (like a sea creature without its shell?)... Cheers! :) -E.E.
