    02756, Familiar Pack IV Imp

At the center of the summoning pentagram, a short humanoid materializes in a cloud of steam. You haven’t cast any spell or summon any creature but he’s there, standing still, staring at you with his malicious eyes. Dark red skin, two feet tall, with sharp pointy horns, bat-like wings and a barbed tail. This creature is the embodiment of a devil like you pictured them according to the tales you heard in your childhood. He’s holding its tail with one hand, and lazily starts balancing the tip of it from side to side. After a moment, the fiendish imp talks to you and offer you to make a deal. With a seducing voice, he says, I can fulfill one of you wish if you accept to do me a favor... Here it is 02756, Familiar Pack IV Imp a pewter Dark Heaven Legends model. Sorry I coundn't find the name of sculptor.

    Lady of Pestilence (NSFW)

This is "Lady of Pestilence". I created this for a D&D group as the campaign's main villain. The figurine is 3D modeled and printed in resin, the rest sculpted by hand. EDIT: Removed direct upload images and replaced with links. https://s25.postimg.cc/rlofwa7of/20180621_012020.jpg https://s25.postimg.cc/t0q0l011r/20180621_012042.jpg https://s25.postimg.cc/yowbbvaj3/20180621_012104.jpg https://s25.postimg.cc/7r2ea42qn/20180621_012129.jpg https://s25.postimg.cc/59qn2vdpb/20180621_012157.jpg https://s25.postimg.cc/59qn2wga7/20180621_012228.jpg https://s25.postimg.cc/i14t9d81r/20180621_012249.jpg https://s25.postimg.cc/7eb03yn1r/20180621_012308.jpg https://s25.postimg.cc/71jlxtui7/20180621_012332.jpg https://s25.postimg.cc/p5mmhvkan/20180621_012408.jpg

    Warhammer: Demon Prince Be’lakor

Here my latest work. I keep trying and trying with black: highliting black. I tried with blue for a while till I was quite happy with it, and now I’m trying with grey which is more difficult... it does show here, since it completely reads as grey skin but oh well, it’s still a job I’m happy with. That’s Be’lakor, one of the finest demon figures ever made by any manufacturer. First chaos everchosen, first mortal to ascend to demonhood, blessed and cursed, the lord of the dark...

    Imps

These are 3 little imps/demons that I pulled off the melt table at Reapercon last year. I'm not sure of manufacturer, so if you recognize them, please let me know. I think they may be from a 15mm figure range. I bashed these guys out over he course of a couple evenings about a week ago. Thanks for looking. With (in need of a touch up) Sir Forscale:
  5. GodOfCheese

    Dweller in Brimstone

A DaughterOfCheese abandoned the painting of this model, so it ended up in the Simple Green for awhile and I decided that her beautiful dress would look better with tentacles protruding from beneath it. Beautiful, sickly devil-flesh striding across a hellscape while she peels back her hood to reveal sinister horns. And it does get cold in hell, so don't forget your scarf. Or anyway, that was the plan. It turns out that her color made her difficult to photograph. The tentacles are formed around unwound paperclips, which were easy to twist into the right shape, but the flesh I added (green stuff, some clay, etc) was difficult to get to the right proportion without making it fall off. I'm new to this whole "modding" thing, so I'd LOVE feedback on it. :-)

    02923: Princess of Hell

A fun mini I painted up for the Spring Mini Exchange. My partner wanted a) female b) non-human skin-tones c) horns, d) practical clothes. 3 out of 4 isn’t bad. Her wings got replaced with the wings from the Bones 3 Sophie, as Princess’s wings got fatally bent in transit. I used zenithal priming for the major shadows and highlights, MSP Clear Red and DR Payne’s Gray for the red, MSP Bright Skin triad + MSP Splattered Blood for her skin. VMA Steel over MSP Midnight Blue for the weapons. The same Midnight Blue is the base for her thong-dress.
  7. So, I needed a little distraction from all the Reptiles and Amphibians... This guy just has had a nice comfy soapy bath and a trim with an exacto knife. Now drying and waiting for colours. Need to fill the gap between wings and back with plastic putty ( vallejo)

    02218 - Abraxus Dire-dead

Just finished up painting the skeleton archer I've been working on and decided on this guy as my next one up. Seems to be a devil or demon with a mask on maybe? I decided to to go with a purple cape and red skin on this guy. Probably make the axe gunmetal with some silver highlights. Not sure on the breast plate thingy he's wearing. Couple of details I've gone over in purple or red that will need changed. Comments and criticism welcome!

    03769: Ice Devil

Hi all, I've been reading the forums for a couple months since I've started getting into painting miniatures. Here is my fourth one that I just finished up. Comments welcome!

    FitzBones: 77261 Bat Demon

Next up on the Bones-painting production line is this one, 77261: Bat Demon by Bob Ridolfi. At first I was going to paint him classic devil red, but I went with green in the end to give it a more serpentine look. I don't know why I wanted that; there's nothing very serpentine about the sculpting, but there you are. The heart has its reasons. The wings and elevated position make this figure a bit more imposing than its stature actually warrants. As far as its body goes, it's just very slightly — if at all — larger than the average Reaper bloke.

    50196 Devil Girl, Supervillain

Straight from the depths of hell, it's.........Devil Girl, Supervillain! (cue scary music!) For a change, instead of painting the eyes looking straight on, I painted them so that she was looking to the right as if she just spied a do-gooding superhero & was about to lob a fireball in their direction. The base was created using the Basius "Dungeon" stamp with the river part painted up as lava - I imagined that wherever she walked, the ground morphed into fiery molten goodness. Thanks for looking, comments & criticisms are always welcome.

    02646: Prince of the Undead

My take on Orcus, in a diabolical red. Cheers, E.E.
  13. The Bearded Devils are complete. Lots of Reaper Cinnamon Red on these guys. Actually, a lot of red, period. WIP thread HERE More pictures on my blog.
  14. Sing the song! "I'll be there for you...!" :-) So, after the completion of their awesome campaign, Rachel, Monica, and Phoebe were booked on a gig that was simultaneously more serious and less comfortable. These three took forever to paint-- I experimented with implied lighting from the magma, but am less than pleased with the results because they don't look like the lava is lighting them at all. Instead, the shadows I attempted to paint on the facing-away sides just seem to look muddy. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
  15. Fractured Dimensions' Bearded Devils are currently on the paint-table. Great looking Paul Muller sculpts. One tricky bit is the deeply recessed (as in virtually inaccessible) areas under the kilts (a situation admittedly worsened by basing prior to painting). A heavy initial slathering of black paint (1st picture) has hopefully prevented headaches down the road. (I'll keep my fingers crossed. Murphy's Law suggests a different outcome.) The second picture shows the base colors blocked in. As per recent efforts in the devil department, it's Reaper Cinnamon Red skin and Vallejo Vermillion kilts. The fluorescent orange beards are a new wrinkle.

    Ashratu, Consort of Bael

I'm on a devil kick at the moment. Wyrd's Lilitu (metal version). Anyone know who the sculptor is? The Cinnamon Red received as a freebie during the 12 days of Christmas sale is proving well suited to for devil skin. More pics/info on my blog.

    Fractured Dimensions' Bael

Paul Muller strikes again. Fractured Dimensions' Bael.
  19. Since she is topless, here are a few cropped pics and links to more pictures. Not so happy with how she turned out, but she is good enough for gaming! https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_ZgOi70hDxnQkRMUnNuSWxsUTg/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_ZgOi70hDxnNFc0Ml9qVF9yOXc/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_ZgOi70hDxncXprbkJHbUNHbjA/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_ZgOi70hDxncWh1ZXdaTEJyV1E/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_ZgOi70hDxnRm9UM2tMeVJfT2M/view?usp=sharing
  20. Well, finished this last night. There is a WIP thread, but honestly there's hardly any difference between those shots and these, except some work on the lips. And these are less blurry. I mainly wanted to paint this miniature to experiment with painting blue skin. The skin is Formula P3 Trollblood base, with varying amounts of Reaper Pure White added. It took for or five layers, finishing up with some tiny lines of pure white on the highlights. Reaper Witchcraft Purple featured prominently also, especially in her hair. Speaking of which, the camera has totally failed to capture the dark blue-purple shadows between hair strands, made using a wash of Witchcraft Purple cut with Indigo Blue. Oh well. I'm still not entirely happy with the lips. But I can live with them. Here are pics of the base from a slightly top-down angle: The base is resin, from Micro Arts Studio's Possessed line, in the WRound 30mm group.

02895 Agramon, Pit Fiend of Doom!

This was an interesting one to paint. I painted Agramon around the same time as Vanja. I wanted to break up the monotony of color a bit from the standard art for the pit fiend, so I attempted a like charred and blackened skin in parts and the bony ridges. Made a rookie mistake and painted the fire backwards, haha, but hey.

    77258: Babau Demon

My Babau Demon, painted up to use as a minor demon in Frostgrave. It was a pretty quick paint job, what with it being only one colour and all. I think I achieved a bloody, meaty red look. Now I need a foolish wizard to summon him...

    Vaeloth, Hellborn Paladin (77120)Bones

This week, I continued to work on the Bedeviled Set from the Bones 1 KS, and painted Vaeloth, Hellborn Paladin. I had some fun with his base, using a black crackle paint over some bright orange paint, which gives a pretty neat volcanic look I think. As always, C & C welcome. For the full painting article, please see my blog: http://allbonesabout.blogspot.com/2016/01/vaeloth-hellborn-paladin-figure-191-of.html
  24. This week I found time to start the Bedeviled Set from the Bones I Kickstarter, and completed a nice tabletop paint job on Sinessa, Hellborn Sorceress. When I was looking at the figure and considering how I wanted to paint her, I thought she might work good as some kind of ice demon for my Frostgrave games, so I decided to paint her in a more wintery paint scheme. I also thought I would experiment with the techniques presented in MonkeySloth's Ice Base tutorial http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/43463-tutorial-creating-ice-bases/?p=605514 As always, C & C are welcome. I'm very pleased with how she turned out, and think she looks suitable frosty. :)
