    Lizard man

I painted this one as a fire salamander... cause honestly I’m sick of the other 12 I have and I needed to stop painting in green. Super happy with how he came out.

    Freeport Lizard Man

This is the recovery piece from Narthrax. After the excruciatingly long process of building the base and painting that huge model, I wanted something short, sweet, and simple. This figure, which I acquired as part of the Freeport Kickstarter, fit the bill nicely. The hardest part was attaching his arms, after which I did a base coat (Jungle Camo for the upper half, Blond Hair the the belly), a couple of washes, and some minimal highlighting. The base -- which is from Micro Arts Studio -- I had already painted earlier, back when I was working on Nyrissa. So all I had to do on that part was attach him.

    Lidless Eye Hobbies: Leapin' Lizards!

It isn't easy being green! Especially when you're green and not an Orc, or a Goblin, or a Troll, or a Gith, or a....wow, there's a lot of green monsters! The Froghemoth: I hadn't even noticed the clutch of eggs until I was inking the base! I'm happy with how they came out...reference photos had frog eggs in the entire rainbow of colors. The Jungle Titan. This guy was a lot of fun to paint. I'm not sure what I'll use him as...maybe just an overgrown Lizard King in D&D 5E. The Weregator. He'll likely be used as a Gatorman heavy for Lizardfolk runs. Last and least, Lizardfolk!
  5. Another batch of Undead, this time from Johnny Borg Castings "Dungeon Monsters" Kickstarter. The horde: Dead Sonja: Halfling Skeleton: Skeletal Elf Ranger: Dwarf Zombie: Dwarf Skeleton: Goblin Skeleton: Zoblin: Orc Skeleton (with odd Mickey Mouse gloves): Zorc: Rattlin' Ratling: Rotting Ratling: A verminous duo: Undead Lizards: Skeletal Lizardfolk: Zombie Lizardfolk:

    Lidless Eye Hobbies: The Lizardfolk

Preparing for the Isle of Dread, I painted up a selection of Lizard Guys! A bunch are from Reaper, there's some Warhammer Lizardmen, and even Wrong-Eye from Hordes. There's no group shot for these, as there's a NSFW Bones Medusa in that one who wasn't as blocked by a Saurus as I thought she was when I was snapping away on the phone.
