  1. A long time client of mine recently requested a set of 4 bunnies. Each is to be about 10mm at the shoulder. He sent me 4 pose photos and I created armatures. Here they are, each with it's respective photo: Today, I underpinned the sculpts, fleshing out the bodies: Have a great day, Andy
  2. Thumper the ranger. His family was eaten by the same Ogres that slayed the Tortoise Cleric's Brother. So he joins him.
  3. When I fill out my questionnaire for the exchanges, I like to give lots of options for people to choice from. For example, I mention that I have CAV:SO figures (and hope to play someday....). One of the other things I mention is that I collect rabbit minis (it all goes back to the Doom Bunny...). I never really thought anyone would ever combine those two.... What an awesome and creative piece Kangaroorex came up with! I love it!! (Although I may never look at a Starhawk VI the same way....) I don't know where he found the little car but it is perfect.
  4. the rabbit paladin from the first of Oathsworn's critter line. I love this rabbit. he has had a long day. He's tired, He's annoyed, and the next person who calls him a bunny is going to discover the meaning of "holy terror" this one was fun to paint and I do love the expressiveness of these minis. hope you enjoy!
  5. Just because I need to start another WIP, I decided with the new Burrows and Badgers KS on the horizon I thought I should give my critter's some paint love. So I decided to paint up a Hare (or Rabbit) from the two critter KS I backed. I decided to also use hair color for the hares with Jessica Rich's DVD. I started both with a 1:1 mix of RMS Harvest Brown : RHD Golden Brown as the base coat. I like both of the sculpts and have really wanted to paint them both. Progress might be slow at first since I'm also working on my exchange mini at the same time. Here is the Darksword Hare Mage: Here is the Oathsworn Hare Warrior: Now a look at the 2 side by side:
  6. Here is my first I painted from the Oathsworn Miniatures Burrows & Badgers Kickstarter. The Hare Warrior. While he is intended to be a gaming piece, I'll probable never get to field him (save in a solo battle). So I ultimately stopped fiddling with blending on the NMM. The rules recommend a 40mm base so that is what I went with. Here is how the Hare finally turned out: Thanks for looking and any C&C you feel inspired to post.
  7. I'd ordered some of the Burrows and Badgers minis from the first Kickstarter and have another group coming from their second Kickstarter, so it seemed about time to actually get some paint on these guys! The final shot with the whole warband together includes the rabbit rogue I sculpted. I had taken an individual photo of her, but the photo didn't turn out as well and since it involved me sculpting, I guess I'll post it in my sculpting journal at some point. Anyway, hope you enjoy them and C&C are always welcome!
  8. This is my Alice vs. Wonderland diorama I entered in my local con. It took third in diorama/vignette. I don't have a big enough photo setup for the whole thing so please excuse the pics. I was trying a reimagining of the classic tale with Alice and some Wonderland characters as badasses. Alice is 14311: Kassandra of the Blade. The Cheshire Cat is 02480: Sabertooth Tiger and the White Rabbit is a Darksword Rabbit Warrior. I sculpted the rabbit's watch and the paintbrush. The wickets are staples and the croquet balls are pin heads. The cards were downloaded, then printed, cut out and glued together. I wanted each to die in a unique way, appropriate to the characters. The base was made and stained in my school's woodshop. (I teach) I loved building this! My first big diorama. Your comments and critiques are welcome as always.
  9. I'm going to ask this here and in the conversion forum... I'm wanting to do a conversion with the end result being a Gamma World Hoop. I like the head of the rabbit on the Alice and White Rabbit mini in the chronoscope line. But not knowing how big Alice is, I can't judge well how big the white rabbit's head is... Can anyone tell me the size of either Alice or the rabbit? Thanks! Keith
