  1. Durotan Bust

I consider this as a speed paint as I 'finished' it in about 6 days. Not incredibly proud of it but not bad either as it takes me months to finish anything that I am ever happy with. This one was really more for fun and I had fun painting him. Goal accomplished!
  2. Ysera Dragon Bust

This is pretty done besides the jewelry I plan to sculpt on it. As my scultping is Meh, I'm calling this the final product. I did something different with the eyes as I didnt really want to give her human or dragon eyes so I did neither. I kind of like how they turned out considering she sat unpainted for weeks because I wasnt sure on what to do with the eyes!
  3. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2097161002/the-efreet-a-sci-fi-dropship/description Looks interesting but out of my price range. Available as a resin model or as 3D print files.
  4. SKULLS AND BONES KS

Interesting and focused KS for skulls and other bones (not Reaper Bones!) in resin. You get a fair amount for the price.
  5. Howdy, Finally got around to her... Thank you, Kev!
  6. Mother of Dragons

About The concept for Mother of Dragons was born a few years ago. I still recall seeing the beautiful illustration made by Stéphane Wootha Richard posted on his Facebook profile and I fell in love with her immediately – I knew immediately that I wanted to bring her to life in miniature form. Fortunately, Stéphane was also very excited about the idea of a collaboration. We were inspired and driven to start working on the project that we both felt so passionate about and now, with much pride we can finally share this project with you all. What you see here required 2 years of committed development, during which time, our team has created and implemented many variants until we made of it a full range, indeed in addition to the varied scale of the main subject , you will find unique versions such as the bust or the lovely "super deformed" miniature. In fact, this is the characteristic of all of our Kickstarter campaigns — we always enjoy experimenting with new products and offering you something you've never seen before. Every successful kickstarter campaign enable us to share our dreams with the most supportive community in the world. In Mother of Dragons you will find exciting new figures as well as numerous artefacts (artefacts? – I hear you say. Exactly)! Be ready for an ancient Dragon Jar, or a real dragon’s tooth. One thing is certain. They will not be the only exclusives to catch your attention. Now with your continued help and support; it’s time to bring this project to life! So why support this project? Well, first because you’re a hobbyist and a modeller and you can’t wait to lay your hands on a new figure. 7. 01588: Ungorth, Cthon Summoner

Hey all! Got this resin fig at ReaperCon 2016 and decided to base him using a Basius basing pad with some swampy/murky/creepy terrain. My goal was to emphasize that this disciple is unconcerned with his cleanliness, and is a deadly foe. I managed to work up a color scheme that speaks to faded Christmas colors which led me into an adventure idea wherein this summoner is bringing a twisted version of Krampus into existence for the holidays
  8. About Comet Lord Miniatures is making it's first series of monstrous miniatures for your tabletop games. The Eye Sovereign that views beholders as mere slaves to carry out its ill will? A mimic able to disguise itself as a regular sized chest as it waits to burst out and devour an unlucky adventurer whole? Comet Lord Miniatures is seeking to fund the production of its first line of miniatures through this Kickstarter campaign. This campaign will start with 2 miniatures including 'The Giant Mimic' and 'The Eye Sovereign'. Hopefully we'll expand this into a full series of miniatures through some stretch goals! All miniatures require assembly and will be shipped unpainted. - - - Each of the miniatures will be made from high quality resin. The core miniatures for this campaign are both 'large sized' creatures and they are compatible with most 28mm scale tabletop map products. Turntable renders of the core miniatures
  9. Having a hard time getting started back up on my keeper's sanctum diorama... I think I need to purposely take a break from it and work on some other stuff to get my creative juices flowing again. I have this idea in my head for a 75mm diorama featuring black sun miniatures' "Barbarian and the Lost Princess" (Conan) vs SC75's "Brock the Wanderer" I'm thinking in this piece that it will have Conan carrying the princess through a dungeon type setting and then Brock standing there in front of a doorway. I'm going to really pull from artwork that I admire in regards to barbarians such as Frazetta and Patrick J. Jones. Right now I'm cleaning off the flash and mold lines, as soon as I do that, I'll wash everything and start to assemble as much as I can without causing issues during painting. Mood and color scheme inspiration pic from Patrick J. Jones -

  11. I bought this wonderful bust of a Boxer Dog a while ago, I immediately knew I would paint it up as my Boxer Brutus. So here we go.
  12. I've had a chunk of antler sitting in my drawer of basing materials for years, waiting for the right figure to use it on. I recently acquired the Bombshell Miniature Morihalda bust, and inspiration stuck! The antler was cut at a weird angle but I was able to use a hacksaw and a miter box to square off the top. I have the dilemma of trying to figure out a) the right orientation of the bust to the base, and b) if I want to fare in the bust pedestal to the antler using green stuff. I plan on putting a couple of pins in her base, and then matching sockets in the antler. I figure I can blank off the top of the antler with shrink wrap and then do the sculpting work (if I choose to pursue that) which would enable me to separate them again for priming/painting purposes. Anyway, I've come to you brave forumites for advice! I've got four pictures attached showing the four possible orientations of the bust/antler. Let me know which one you think is the most appealing choice! I'm partial to #3 myself, but my wife likes #4.
  13. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/infamyminis/infamy-collectibles The Infamy: Collectibles range combines larger scale full miniatures, busts and complex or special kits. It is aimed aimed primarily at painters and collectors, but some of the models have also been designed with crossover potential in mind for gamers. There's no specific theme or setting - the only criteria for entry into the Collectibles range is that a model is cool and exciting! Each model has been designed and sculpted by amazing artists, will be cast in the high-quality resin that Infamy has become know for, and packed up in luxury bespoke boxes.
  14. Steampunk Flat Girl

Oh, stop, I mean the piece, not the girl... This is Nemrod's flat resin pinup bust 'Sattheen' who is described as a girl wearing a tophat and corset. Because the piece is resin, it's considerably thicker than the traditional metal piece, presumably to prevent warping. The facing detail is quite small in terms of depth and very close to traditional flats. The master was sculpted by French artist Ivan Durand who also sculpted my 'Redhead Flat' buried back in the Reaper archives. Since I sometimes have issues with leaving well enough alone, I decided to convert this piece into something more along the lines of a Steampunk bust. I've shortened the tophat, added the mandatory goggles (plastic tubing/putty), removed the necklace and added a choker (scribing/sheet plastic/putty), altered and added details to the corset (scribing/sheet plastic), and hollowed out her upper left arm to create a mechanical arm. The gizmology is composed of watch gears, plastic rod and sheet, and bolt head sliced from octagonal plastic rod. The plan is to use thin sheet plastic to build the outer skin of the arm, but leave the mechanical bits visible. This is what I've got so far... Glen
  15. Magically Distracted She sat on her favorite stool, having gotten mostly undressed and relaxed, gently swirling the goblet of red wine in her hand as she read through the grimore in her lap... closing her eyes she gently concentrated on the spell that was before her... suddenly the books piled around her lifted up in the air as if they had minds of their own and were caught in a small windstorm. She giggled to herself and took another long drink of the wine from her goblet and continued to study... --------------------- This was a really fun project that I started up in April of this year. My goal was to get her done in time for the 'eavier metal online contest (Facebook) and see if I could place or perhaps get a random draw. I ended up uploading her about 10 minutes late, so I have no idea at the time of doing this post if she will be considered in the contest or if she will be disqualified. Either way, I had fun, I had tons of amazing feedback during the WIP and a lot of people cheering me on to get it finished. I present to you "Magically Distracted" a NSFW Kingdom Death figure in the 54mm scale, she is a limited edition resin release. Please feel free to give your comments and critiques. I'm going to check and see if I am allowed to bring a nude figure to ReaperCon this year for entry into their painters contest or not. If not, she'll stay home as I do have plenty of other things to enter as well. A few firsts on this one, I did some elaborate tattoos, magical floating books, writing in books in freehand, a completely nude figure, texturing pattern, Venus dimples, and last but not least sheer stockings (which were a lot of fun and a lot of work!). First - pics that are SFW and then I'll post some NSFW links (special thanks to @Thrym for hooking me up with his site for hosting as Facebook links expire) and for helping me out with the really cool title placard). NSFW Links One Two Three Four Five ETA: Better pics after a bit of clean-up to the OSL and added red ink to the drink.
  16. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1946588239/super-chibi-round-3?ref=hero_thanks What's Super Chibi Round 3? It's the next step in the Super Chibi miniatures line. What is Super Chibi? It's a shared universe that spans four interesting worlds, created by MidKnight Heroes. Each world has its own style and flare but is 100% pure Chibi. The Super Chibi worlds have everything from mecha and cyborgs to monsters and fantasy. Super Chibi are HQ 30mm multi-part resin miniatures they can be used for board games, role-playing games or simply collector's pieces. The sky is the limit! The Super Chibi Round 3 Kickstarter introduces three more characters from the worlds in the Super Chibi universe. These characters are from the world of Super Chibi Sector 7 and Super Chibi Tacticts, and can be used in any board game or Role Playing Game. In this Kickstarter, we are asking for help in creating these three new characters; Shin, Absolute Valentine and Deyanni. This Kickstarter will cover the expense of taking them from their mastered sculpts to the mold and casting process and help in providing us with funds to help produce additional figures, with an aim to populate the worlds of Super Chibi. Just like in all our Kickstarter's we will be including a book in Super Chibi Round 3, Super Chibi Origins. This time, it will tell the stories of our three main characters in their respective worlds. The book will include two short stories that will explain the world of Super Chibi Sector 7 and Super Chibi Tactics. Just like all of our books, it will be published by MONOLITH and after the Kickstarter will be sold on their site.
  17. Nosferatu - an ub3r Showoff

I'm now finished with Nosferatu and have taken final pics. He came out as I intended and I got some very valuable feedback on the skin tones from awesome forum-mates. WIP found here: I present to you, Nosferatu, vampire lord from Green Monkey Models! C&C are welcomed and greatly appreciated! I'm also going to bring him to ReaperCon and enter him into the big figures contest on the forum
  18. Nosferatu - an ub3r WIP

As if I don't already have enough projects, I can't keep him waiting any longer! This is Nosferatu, a limited edition bust from Green Monkey Models. I have copy 11/50. This sculpt is amazingly detailed, it's creepy and awesome. I'm going to try out some new undead skin tones on this bust and just have some fun. I'll elicit all of your comments and critiques as I go through this project as well! As you can see he's nearly 90mm tall, a pretty sizable bust. I'm going to clean up the little bits of putty I used to make sure the seams where his arms join his body are smooth and even and then use the airbrush to layer on some primer!
  19. Broken God Bale - an ub3r Show off

Good afternoon again! Just finished Bale, the party's Eldrich Knight and god of Thunder/Battle for my current D&D campaign entitled "Broken Gods" Another one that's painted up to TT+ standard for me and took about 3-4 hours to do. Thanks for looking, C&C are welcomed and appreciated!

  21. Carnevale 2.0 kickstarter by TT Combat

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2052977442/carnevale-the-miniature-game Carnevale is a tactical narrative miniatures game set in 1790's Venice. Safe from the effects of the Rent in the Sky that tore Italy in half, Venice is now a hot-spot of magical activity. Strange creatures rise from the canals, the ruling class play violent games with lesser men, and the population of Venice try to survive. All vie for power in the street fights that take place in the dark of the night. Carnevale is a game that focuses on movement and brutal combat. You're as likely to see two people battling in the streets as you are to see warriors jumping from rooftop to rooftop and drowning their opponents in the canals. Using the tight streets and watery dangers to your advantage will ensure victory, and if it doesn't, some well-timed magic spells might! Carnevale is a narrative game that sees gamers play through various scenarios with their gangs of fighters. The games skirmishes allow for in depth storytelling, and we have made an effort to streamline rules in order to let the action take place on the tabletop, rather than spending too much time keeping track in the pages of a rulebook. The tactical flexibility opens up when building your gangs how you want, using many varied members to different effect.
  22. 54mm Bloodpeak Barbarians Kickstarter!

  23. WOTC LE Strahd on Nightmare

I painted this guy up for a coworker who wanted to use him in his DND game. He heard through the corporate grapevine I was the "mini guy" and wanted me to assemble this figure plus two adventurers that were from the same promotion. The problem he was running into was that WOTC cheaped out on the production and the figures were pretty terrible. The sculpts were okay but the resin was flexible and full of air bubbles. He had snapped an arm trying to wiggle it off the sprue and came looking for "professional" help. Even my nice sprue cutters didn't help as the foot of one of the other figures exploded after I snipped it off. I came to the conclusion if I gave the figures back to him he might try to paint them and come to dislike the whole hobby so I painted up Strahd (but not the adventurers, he's on his own there). Putting Strahd together was, predictably, a total pain in the broccoli. The back leg of the nightmare snapped while I was trying to get it into the holes on the pre-made base. I had to pin on the fly with mixed results. All in all, it was kind of an unpleasant experience. I think it's the first time I ever hate painted a miniature. I gave the figure to the guy and then he left the company to start a consulting business so I can't get proper photos. I was really pleased with the OSL I was able to do which is why I'm posting it here. The cloak and shield were painted using Wappel's methods with Reaper's clear paints. Looking at the top down pictures I could have done a better job with the OSL on the cloak coming from the tail. Oh well!

  25. Sacred Sword 32mm Chibi Miniatures Kickstarter (Live)

About this project Sacred Sword is the world that our chibi miniature line belongs to. While the game and the world are not present in this project, it dictates our overall theme and feel. The Sacred Sword line will be a high fantasy world, with a distinctly classic RPG feel. Modeled heavily after your favorite classic JRPG games but with a lot of added character and flair. We hope to provide a compelling universe for both your favorite RPG engine or other games that you want to use these for. The Sacred Sword miniature line is a Chibi 32mm miniature line. These are cast in spincast resin and unpainted. We've teamed up with the great crew at Impact Miniatures to produce the best figures at an excellent price and to utilize their vast experience and improve our project as much as possible! I've had a look at a lot of their newest figures and the casting and such are tops! We'll be carefully working with them to ensure every figure is cut well and casts as cleanly as possible Your funding provides AdventureCraft the needed capital to finish more concept art, sculpting and then casting of an entirely new range of miniatures. We're starting small, with just a few figures. As we reach more funding goals, we'll add new models from you to pick from. And step by step, your feedback and requests will be heard and implemented to create a colorful world. We've already got the first two sculpts finished and ready to go! The Useko Warrior and Forest Goblin are here to show off the quality of the sculpts you can look forward to when you back this project.
