    Underwater Adventuring Party

Hello! I'm starting a new project, an underwater adventuring party. I've ordered a group of miniatures for it: I've been mostly painting Games Workshop stuff for the last few years, so I'm hoping this will be a nice change of pace.

    Bones II Sharkman, 77178

While not the first started, this is my first finished from the Bones II Kickstarter. This mini is huge, the size of a small dragon. As usual, I am lazy-arsed about basing and have simply painted up the base as-is. Comments and criticisms honestly appreciated. WIP thread here.
  3. While the Kickstarter was winding down I figured I needed to get to work on some Bones minis. Here are a pair I consider tabletop quality, not competition but hopefully not too shabby. Playing with the wet and dry looks for finishing here as well. So many Bones to paint before August 2016!

    FitzBones II: Shark Man

Here's another model from Reaper's Bones II Kickstarter. I can't tell you what its product code is, because they haven't yet been added to the online store — the sooner that happens, the better, because right now finding any information on the Bones II models is an exercise in tedium, and sometimes futility. Anyway, it's a wereshark, or possibly some kind of Moreau-esque shark-man. The mottling of its upper body isn't quite as I would like it, but it will have to do. As is my habit, I've mounted it on a great big steel washer to give it some heft and make it more stable. Now I shall have to figure out some way of using it in a game.
  5. Acquired from Cool Stuff Inc when they were selling off their metal stocks. I have no clue if I'll ever use him, but he's a nice enforcer for a pirate gang.

    02890, Wereshark Karkarius

Hi, Here is a recent work, part of my still enrolling army. It was really nice painting this model form Jason Wiebe. I wanted my Wereshark to look like Razig’s mercenary Karkarius. So the octopus had to be removed from the hand of the original model. And, be replaced by a more convincing weapon… The anchor and a chain were taken from a Razig Weapons Pack. A tiger shark picture inspired me for the skin pattern. The idea for the base was borrow from my previous attempt at sculpting waves. Different tomes of blue, greens and yellow were used to color the water. I hope you’ll like it.
