If you have choose between coming back safe and sound, I'll be happy with safe. :-) ("Sound" is a a tad overrated, right?)

Take care and return home soon,

Hello everyone!

Not to detract from all the great well-wishes, but I'm back! The Army took several weeks and two orthopedic surgeons to figure out what I've known for a couple of years, namely having a shoulder that snaps, crackles, and pops isn't really a good thing. I've been declared permanently disabled and non-deployable, so it looks like even in the future I won't be able to be called up for missions. Seeing as I only have a few more months left in my contract I'm fairly certain I won't be asked to put on the three chevrons again.

Thanks again for all the support, and I look forward to seeing everyone around ::D:.

Yay!

I had ligament damage in a wrist that kept me from my commission after four years of ROTC. I think that both I and the Army got the better end of the deal there. I'm glad you too have less of a chance of people shooting you now. Bummer about the shoulder though.

Jeez, just take some motrin and suck it up Soldier! j/k ::P::lol:

Glad to see you got back. I was keeping up with your adventures at Ft. Jackson on your site and am glad the doctors made the right call. Though with the number of people you describe as being recalled just to be sent back home, as a taxpayer I've got to wonder how much this is costing.

WOOT! So glad you're back John. Even though I have only had time to go to paint class 2 other times after last seeing you (it's been a few months), it's nice to know that you'll be there from here on out. I've missed seeing you and your tattoo'd footsies. And for the life of me I can't remember what your feet are tattoo'd. Something to the effect of "To the Corenor..."??? I know I'll be reminded later with a foot to the face...SEE TERRI!!!! ;)

Anyway, it's great to have you home. Hope to see you as soon as I can get my butt to Reaper. Maybe this weekend or soon after that.

-Terri
