Yes, and soon to be available in Bones too (should be SKU 77185).

I can sculpt one of these for a little personalization to the army too.

I know this is Dwarf topic but to keep on the same subject, what about a Kragmarr list? I'm torn between classic Dwarf and the them. I love their Viking look.

Thanks.

What about a Kragmarr list? Are you looking for advice on what should/could be in it? What point size? What models do you like/dislike? Give us a little more info, post it over in the Kragmarr thread, and we can discuss it in depth there.

Yeah, the big models with DR can be a beast in smaller games. Yesterday I did a demo with a new player as part of a promotional video project for a friend; I talked a little bit about Reaper and Warlord, and then showed the basics of how the game worked. I handed the new player a Crusader list with the Doom Kitty, and then cobbled a list of Necros together entirely from Bones/LE models I had on hand. Prior to the game, I gave my opponent some tactical tips on how to use the Kitty to his advantage, and though I took it easy on him, he thumped me pretty good. DR models that are relatively unhurt become harder and harder to kill as the game wears on, and this is true even moreso in a smaller game like this. The Stone Spirit would be positively ugly, unless your opponent has something on par with it.

Any way we could get a link to the video once it's available?

I'm going to offer it to Reaper once it is finished to see if they want to use it. Granted, it's from an intro to video editing class, so there are no guarantees about the quality. :;):

Hello to the real dwarves out there. I, a humble beardling, seek your guidance. I have come up with my first army, and can explain my thought going into it, and would like your opinions.

1000pt

Logan Battlefury + Mithral Armor

Ivar Silverfist + Spiritual Hammer

Durgam Deepmug

3 Berserker

3 Warrior

Musician

Durin Pathfinder + Magic Weapon

Kara Foehunter

3 Pathfinder

3 Miner

Musician

Griffon

Griffon

Luckstone

My Idea into this is to use Troop 1 as the main fighting force, using the combo of Deepmug and Battlefury, with Ivar to support and throw heals. I intend Durin, Kara and the Pathfinders/Rangers to flank and make attacks of opportunity, and try out the spy mechanic, while the Griffons get air superiority and stalk their prey. If I have figured something in wrong, please tell me. It is my first time building a list for this system.

I like it alot except for the spiritual hammer on Ivar. Try Logan or Durgam instead. Or I might put a magic weapon on Durgam and maybe kill a miner for a book of tactics and another magic weapon for Logan. It can become brutal when you are hitting and cleaving with 6 attacks with logan on just about everything. If you really want to having something on Ivar go with a familiar then just cast with him all day long and recoup some magic points in the process.

So it has been a while since I have posted a list here but I will post an old list that I think is probably a little too good to use against friends so I do not use this type of thing much anymore.

Dwarves - 748 points

Troop 1
148 pts   King Thorgram Grimsteel
10 pts   Armor of Courage
20 pts  Spiritual Hammer
71 pts   Ivar Silverfist
15 pts   Familiar
69 pts   Margara Firetongue

15 pts   Familiar
18x3 (54) pts  Halberdier x 3
22x2 (44) pts  Kneebreaker x 2

31 pts   Piercer
15 pts   Musician

Troop 2
103 pts  Snorri Oathbreaker
50 pts   Hammer of the Mountain God
25  pts   Mithril Armor

Troop 3
3 pts   Luck Stone

75 pts   Battle Totem

It is strong enough in Thorgrams Unit to get his warlord ability to work, Ivar heals, Margara casts barrage on Mighty Snorri and the damage rolls in as the average close combat MAV is a 6 while Snorri with 2 Mighty Ranged, or assassin attacks if something wants to play while Thorgram, is an 8 (9 with armor of courage free inspire) MAV with bludgeon, mighty provoke, and reach that can be further improved with things like the Faction Doctrine, support, and his supporting units are similarly impressive.  Just one rolling Murderball and a Bubble of death around Snorri.
