What? A whole day into the month with no Roll Call thread? How am I supposed to procrastinate like that?

Here's what the workbench looks like right now:

Devout warjack (primed)
Tentacle pit
03462 Goblin Warriors (4)
Thomas Hammerfist (primed)
Gargoyle
Norgol, Irongrave Knight
Dwarven Warrior (primed)
Young Swamp Dragon (primed)
Jolie, Scribe (started)
Centurus Clones (2) (started/primed)

Presently the warjack and ol' Tommy Hammerfist have primer on them and are sitting in front of my painting chair. Once those are done I'll probably get out a couple Shredders from the Legion of Everblight box to give pLylyth some company.
Unfinished WIPs: Centurus Clones
Blunt Object - vitriol, motorsports, and beer -- not necessarily in that order
Nerdgasm - gaming is serious business

I know, I know. I should have started a thread already. . . .

My workbench for the month:

Exchange figs (conversion, unit, normal) - these get worked on pretty much every day until done, I hope.
Gatormen posse - 2 units of three figs, almost done
Titan gladiator
Bronzeback
Uncharted Seas dwarf fleet
FSA Relthoza fleet
The PCs are rootin', tootin' kittens living in this very town who, with flamethrowers, fight the enemies of the State for electrum pieces...or so it would seem.

Army-sized projects for 2011 - Warmahordes - Minions, Skorne, Retribution, Circle, Cryx, possibly Cygnar. WFB - Ogres, Skaven, Dwarves, Orcs and Vampire Counts. 40k - Tau, Guard, Marines, Orks. FoW - German, Soviets, Brits. DBA - 6 armies. 25mm Western figs. Some giant stompy robots for CAV and HG. A bunch of 25mm Romans just because. Maybe a couple of Warmaster armies.

The listing above is only a WIP. No big deal, since almost everything on it is a WIP as well.

I went 1 for 4 last month. The roll-call item I succeed at was terrain. (All totaled I did 19 terrain pieces last month. Some were last minute and not on the roll-call list.)

[. .] 1. Convert a Fantasy figure of some sort.
[. .] 2. Send item #1 away to be painted.
[. .] 3. Paint something for my much neglected Reven Army.
[. .] 4. Assemble a CAV model?
[. .] 5. TBD

Low expectations for this month, because I'm going to be away for a chunk of it.

Finish goblins (6 left)
2 other minis TBD

2014 Stats: 22 painted, 21 purchased. 22/2 - 21 = -10

OK, now that I'm back and settled, my goals for February are:

3x Ba'Rada frigates (Cold Navy)
10x Felids (Khurasan 15mm)
8x Mekanoids (Khurasan 15mm)
8x Parasachnids (Khurasan 15mm bug things)
15mm terrain project

And if I'm feeling really ambitious, working some more on Kyra and Lavarath which I started in 2009 before I broke my arm.

I'm not so sure I'd want to get hit by a missile with a "dog brain" AI.

Probably no worse (or better) than Arkadius' left arm. The gun hand on him was pretty easy, but the other arm is from the elbow down. And, since he has no armor, and the sculpt reflects his grumpy old man stats, that was . . . interesting to pin.

(I finally solved my quandary with pinning the horns on the MKI satyxis raiders sculpts - by trading them away. :poke: )

3 x Dark Realm Verger walkers to round out the unit.

Anything else would be gravy.

*sigh*

Just picked up a unit box of Blighted Ogrun Warmongers. In my defence, it was marked down from $48 to $30.

Got it home and realized why it was marked down -- only one 40mm base inside. It's far enough down my painting queue that I have plenty of time to pick up more, but still....

You know, if you don't want them. . . . .

I got distracted tonight. I was looking around, and realized that I have a lot of half-finished projects. So I added a low-hanging fruit, and am going to try and finish off a unit of Immortals and an Ancestral Guardian. I may not use them much, but they should be easy to finish since they are more than half complete, and it's mostly drybrushing work anyway.

Aww, how thoughtful: you're making a snack for my Carnivean. :poke:

Got some tarnished steel basecoat on the Devout and Mr. Hammerfist. Next time I paint a warjack I'm painting the arms separately. Gah!
