She already has a green? Is there a picture of this green? If not, might we impose on your patient and most illustrious self to contrive to get a picture of her green? Perhaps we could bribe you with . . . tasty candy? Fresh cookies? Green-skinned sexy alien ecdysiasts?

ecdysiasts? The only reason I can imagine a goblin even knowing this word is that there are…

oh god…

goblin strippers?

I really hope that's not a stretch goal.

You know, I had hoped that by 8:30am eastern time, people would have woken up enough to be making more pledges, but things are still moving at a crawl....

I want those half-pints, damn it!

When danger reared it's ugly head sir buglips turned his tail and fled. Brave, brave, brave brave sir Buglips

I think you meant brave sir biglips

ETA: I'm actually more entertained watching the backers ticker jump up.

Same here.

> I'd also like to reiterate the interest in seeing a picture of the green for the storm giant!!!! :D

I'm quite certain the next one won't be the last one for the KS, we can fit at least 3 or 4 more stretches in before we end.

As thrilled as I am about all of new minis I get to add to my collection I am wondering what is really going on behind closed doors at Reaper at this point. I'd love to be a fly on the wall as they ride this roller coaster with us. On the one hand: "YEAY, MONEY TO EXPAND THE LINE!" but on the other hand "HOLY CRAP!! What did we get ourselves into??!!"

There has to be a tipping point where this no longer becomes the profit they wanted/needed. Between all the shipping costs, extra pay for extra hours, extra runs, extra material & manufacturing costs, etc. there has to be a point where it's going to actually put them in the hole to have 10,000+ orders. While the general consensus for business is that "success is a good problem to have" I wonder if they were really prepared for this much success, this fast, and that worries me. Concern is not only for the business itself, but for the people running it- this kind of success, and the problems it brings with it, cause all kinds of stress.

While I'm chomping at the bit to get the minis- I'll gladly wait a few extra months to get them if it takes some stress off the business and the people behind it. The last thing I want to contribute to is the downfall of a company and people I cherish. In many ways I wish they would stop adding new goals just to take some of the pressure off of everyone at Reaper. We have been given more than anyone could reasonably ask of them- to beg & demand more just seems... unappreciative.

Anyway- I'm thrilled with what I am getting and I sincerely appreciate everything that the Reaper team is going through (good and bad) to try to meet customer demands faster. Great job everyone!!! I hope you can all get some sleep on Sunday after the totals are in before you start trying to figure out how you're going to process 10,000+ orders for hundreds of minis, all at once. If I was closer to you I'd gladly volunteer my time helping to process orders.

Maybe the best post in hundreds of pages. Kings to you and Reaper.

Certainly, I can see two more stretch goals. Three? perhaps. In fact, three would be spectacular. But, four? I am uncertain if we can reach four.

I really don't mean to sound pessimistic or cynical, if that's how I've been coming across. I'm just trying to avoid disappointment by keeping my expectations for the rest of the icing on this great cake realistically low.

Well, four with the current increase is a long shot I agree.

I wouldn't be completely surprised if Reaper had put away a bit extra so they could push the pace at the end though.

If they can get the payment issue fixed quickly enough, I think my prediction of 1/2 a million for today is good (we did 419K yesterday, and we're ahead of that pace already).

EDIT: Pledges are getting through, it must be fixed.

Well, we also have to keep in mind that the people at Reaper are trying to keep up with the costs of manufacturing and shipping ~2.4 million miniatures, plus a whole bunch of paints, figure cases, etc. So I'm not expecting anything -too- epic, if they have indeed stashed some goodies for the final stretch.

Yeah, we'll be hitting >3 million at the end unless something weird crops up.

Say the next goal is around 2.46, after that 2.68/2.7, after that ~3.0. If we're good at pledging, or Reaper has a trick up their sleeve, we might hit a fourth quite a bit above 3 million too.

We can't NOT hit 3 million unless this kickstarter behaves unlike every single other kickstarter ever run.

We hit 500k 419k yesterday, we'll hit at least the same today, probably closer to 6/700, and the last bit will bring in a similar amount.

I have finally started working on my many Bones minis. This first one is 773000 Antipaladin by Bobby Jackson. It is mostly an experimental/ practice piece. I am not completely happy with my mold line removal, but in this case I am not going to worry about it too much. Mostly it is to get me acquainted with working with Bones minis and to experiment with my new Scale 75 metallic paints. I am not happy with all of the photos, my old photo setup got broken and I haven't gotten it replaced yet and just as I was taking these pictures one of my light bulbs went out and I don't have a replacement. Should be able to get better pics once I get a new bulb.

First off I base coated the cape with Nightmare Black. This was a new paint purchase and I wanted to play with it. Really like this color.
Next I used Faded black to Undercoat the skulls on the armor. I'm planning to do these in a metallic steel. Used Tanned skin as a base coat on his head.
Next came Ultramarine Shadow for the armor undercoat. I really like this color for this as I am going to do the majority of the armor in a dark blue steel tone. The only down side is that the blue colors are fairly transparent and so take several coats to get good coverage.

Looks like I am having some chipping issues, but I think I have that issue solved. Hope to get some more work done on him soon if life doesn't make me do other things first

      I love this figure.
Not so much the bendy weapons, but I straightened them out.
They have bent back a little (Sword).

I did a WIP on him.  Thanks for the encouragement along the way.
      http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/80720-kord-the-destroyer-bones/

He is another for our Reign of Winter Adventure Path.  My DM said "Vikings."  Kord has that vibe for sure.

I tried to paint the base like grass.
The hardest part was the nmm on the axe, and trying to get the runes to show up on the sword.  It's a very irregular axe shape, so it was tough to figure out how to do it.
My green stuff patch job on the wolf pelt was not the greatest, but it is decent enough camouflage.
The second-hardest part of the figure to me was figuring out what parts of the pelt were what.  What is tail? What are legs?  I did my best.
Overall, I'm pleased with him.  He seems like such a bad-a$$.
As for the pics, iPhone seems to be good for far away, but really "blobby" for up close.  Maybe it is suffering from zoom.
      C&C Welcome.

First up is Terezinya, Bonepander Wizard (Reaper 77173).  She had been sitting on my paint desk partially painted for so long that her base got dusty, oops.  She always gave me a pirate wibe, hence the plank base.

Nienna, Female Elf Ranger (Reaper 77091) is another one that sat partially painted for a really long time.  All that green, how do I paint all her knickknacks in an interesting way without making her stand out in forest?  Finally just brute forced it to get her done.

Trista, the White Wolf (Reaper 77094), she didn't languish as long as the other two, but like normal I got stuck on deciding on colors for all the details.  But with 3 off the desk of shame I can start on something new!

Here are 2 of the pin-up babes from Wargamer LLC's kickstarter Hot & Dangerous.

First up Lagertha the Shieldmaiden.  I love how her cloak turned out.  Not so happy with the face, it look pretty terrible in the photos, its not so bad in hand.  I need to get better at thinning my paints I think.

Rosie the Bowman (the official name).  I did not like the concept art at all, but the finished sculpt turned out great.  I love how she has a lot of spunk.
