In an attempt to keep me motivated t finish this mini, I am goign to be posting my progress here from here on out. Try and hound me and keep me accountable, because I suck at motivating myself to paint.

Here is what I have so far...I apologize for the crappy, dark pictures.

Nice shade and highlight. Finish it or you suck.

I worked on this a bit over the last two days. I painted the little red guy at his feet and also all of the bones on the model. Unfortunately I suck hardcore at taking pictures of miniatures, so the bones look a bit washed out and the contrast on the bones and the red guy is not as noticable as it is in the hand. Wish I could get pictures that look exactly like it does when I am holding it. Regardless, here are the new pictures.

Looking beautiful. Can you give us just a few details on what techniques you're using?

I apologize for the craptastic picture quality. The whites are really washed out due to my lack of lighting and needing to put the lamp right down onto the miniature. I have done the wood and the ropes/belts this time. I am still working on the wrappings on the feet.

What colors are you using for the tongue? Looks like you're highlighting up to a white or really bright flesh but I'm not sure what base coat you're using, it looks like a standard flesh with some purple in it maybe?

Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?

... nobody remembers Slave Leia because, "Oh my gosh! What innovative use of bronze."
