Very nice. I'm happy to get these when they are in Bones. Who wouldn't want an encounter against these critters??

I like the part where your 'tabletop' is my 'display' :;):

Seriously, I used a half-inch brush fire most of this.

My first thought upon seeing this is ... "Aaaaaughibbrgubugbugrguburgle!"

My second thought is, wow, cool paint job! :D I love that turquoise/green/blue scheme going on there. Very pretty paint scheme for some pretty nasty fishies.

The shine on the eyes looks really effective.

I hope we get to see them alongside a painted Tiik Champion at some point. Im looking forward to seeing the size comparison, as well as the paint.

Well, there has been a drought.

But seriously, are you the Bob Ross of minis?

I'm guessing base coat, dry brush with extra paint on the brushi, dry brush with very little paint on the brush to catch highlights, wash & call it done.

That said its an effective paint job and looks good!

It also makes me glad it will be easy to loose those lures from the Bones versions :)

That's why I made the Bob Ross reference, Bob's thing being the big brush tricks to make it look like a lot more work went into it. Once Froggy said it, I saw the basics of how it was done.

I agree, the eyes really sell it.

Very nice I love the aqua and teal colours on them. You say quick paint job but it turned out great with the highlighting, good job.
I myself have the same models that I'll eventually paint I might steal your paint scheme ^_^
