30 New Bones for KS Bones?

Recommended Posts

I don't know if it was another topic or page to list all 30 new Bones mini the KS backer will get, so could anyone give us a list or something about it? There are only 29 figues in Online Store, and some of them are released before KS Bones started.

Thanks.

There are many more than thirty new miniatures. There are 240 new Bones minis from the Kickstarter, more if you count the extras.

It was only the very first version of the Vampire level that had thirty figures. As the Kickstarter progressed, many new figures were added to the Vampire level.

There's a good breakdown of them all here.

I think I see the confusion. Let me try to clear this up.

We had plans for 29 Bones models before the Kickstarter launched. These 29 are all what is currently available in the online store - to whit:

77001 Skeletal Spearman

77002 Orc Archer

77003 Orc Spearman

77004 Troll

77005 Ogre

77006 Great Worm

77007 Ghost

77008 Good Human Warrior

77009 Werewolf

77010 Kobolds Sprues

77011 Dwarf

77012 Gnoll

77013 Minotaur

77014 Zombie Ron

77015 BugBear

77016 Giant Rat Sprues

77017 Skeletal Swordsman

77018 Skeletal Archer

77019 Orc Swordsman

77020 Bethalian D'khul

77021 Elf Archer Lindir

77022 Human Ranger Michelle

77025 Giant Spider

77026 Flit the Dragon

77027 Female Vampire

77028 Mortar the Gargoyle

77029 Torg the Unicorn

Then, we launched the Kickstarter with modest aspirations - let us double the line by adding 30 New Models.

77030 Danar, Male Assassin

77031 Cassie, Gnome Wizard

77032 Oxidation Beast

77033 Callie, Female Rogue

77034 Male High Wizard

77056 Orc Sniper (Archer)

77057 Juliette, Female Sorceress

77058 Almaran the Gold, Paladin

As further stretch goals were unlocked, far more than the original 30 models were added - 177 More (Meaning a total of 207 New Bones) I believe the OP is asking for the above detailed list of the Initial 30 we asked for, that are still posted on the KS site as "30 New Bones"

so how does this break down in years it would have taken to get the line up to this state? of the additional models?

Interesting to see the Chrono and Pathfinder Bones' new codes. 80 and 89. I never actually thought about it, but that makes total sense. Presumably the blisters will also be different.

Man, as much as that list has been posted in whole or in part in various threads, I am sure Bryan is glad for cut and paste! My only question is... What are the NEXT 30 new Bones being planned?

Assuming our previous pattern of buying one mold a year (since 2007 when we launched Legendary Encounters), And moving forward with the idea that Bones outselling LE by a factor of 8:1, thus presumably justifying 8 molds/year instead of just one, I;d say we're looking at an easy Decade worth of molds.

And years off Bryan's life because of the logistics of it all ;)

You aren't kidding. I am so much more gray now... and people keep looking at me saying "man, you look tired". I'll just be excited when I can sit and play with my Vamp Box like everybody else!

Good Question! We're not ready to share that list yet, but we have been putting together individual lists, with the idea that any mini that's on more than one of our lists is probably a smarter choice than a mini that's only one one. Myself, I want to explore more larger options, and more of the colored translucents, so I'm really pushing some of those options.

Rest assured We're all looking at the "Bones I'd like to see" thread and weighing those based on our internal planning models, as well. Post what you want to see, and if we agree, you just might get to!

This! Totally this. Bones seems so ideally suited for larger figures. My impression is one of the main downsides of Bones is the tendency for small thin pieces to warp or bend. Larger figures almost totally negate that, and gain a huge advantage in cost and weight.

Take something like the new fire giant bodyguard. $9 for Bones, and I'm guessing probably $25-30 if a metal version is ever produced? That model has no thin parts anywhere. I can't imagine any reason to ever buy a metal version of him. If he only existed in metal, I'd probably never buy one, but in Bones (I didn't pick him up in the Kickstarter), I very likely will sometime down the road.

When the retirement of the P-65 line was announced, I browsed through the existing models, and was pretty excited about the possibilities of seeing many of the larger models in that line making their way to Bones.

Looking at that list I see one thing that strikes me as unfortunate. There is no way to buy just the archers from the pathfinder goblins.

Actually, there might be.

Reaper's boneyard usually let's you by separate pieces from a sku (though they are slightly more expensive if you bouth them all separately than if you ordered the full sku). I suspect that you will be able to do the same for bones pieces once the machine is up and running in Texas, rather than being done in China.

They were all on the same cards at PAX.

Because the final cards had not come in yet. They will not be on the current card once the actual cards get in.

We're holding off packaging that part of the Undertaker Levels for as long as possible so that we don't have to use the existing card, although we will if we must.

From a customers POV the question is for me if I should ever buy metal? Bones has so many advantages over metal that the only reason I am ever buying a metal mini again is that its at the moment not available in bones. Reaper should transfer all lines into bones over the next years. Bones is future, metal is past. (at least for me)

Regarding the internal Bones list and their overlapping, there is I guess a simple solution for Reaper to choose the right selection for their next KS wave. Just use the power of the internet, put up a poll with all the possible minis of the next wave and let your customers decide which minis of the list they prefer.
