To be honest, I've long been puzzled about whether a die roll of "0, 00" is 100 or 0 as well. I've just been too embarrassed to actually ask anyone.

The answer is in your base rulebook, or it should be. Somewhere in that book, right about where it defines the abbreviation "D%",  it ought to say: "percentile dice are 1-100" or "percentile dice are "0-99".

In my gaming groups we've always treated "0" on the dice face to be 10... ie 1-10 (but only when "00" is rolled on the other dice).  That makes "0" "00" = 100.

Different groups might do it differently....

ED: in the single case of when we roll "0" & "00"... not for any other case....

Interesting.

So if they roll up "0" and "90" (10 and 90) what do you read that as?

Ops said round wrong way... in the single case of "00" & "0" being rolled at the same time this is treated as 100

when "0" "00" is rolled = 100

when "1" "00" is rolled = 001

"0" "90" = 90....

"1" "10" = 11

etc....

Due to some unfortunate turn of events (that turned out to be quite fortunate in the end) I now own 3x Raphael #1, 3x Raphael #0 and 1x Raphael #3/0.

Basically, this Field Trooper kept buying the dmnn brushes because they failed to show up, and then got them ALL

And I am loving them. TBH, since I tried them I haven't used the fancy W&N S7; I just love the snap on the Raphs!

It is a case of France beating England? I don't know.  :blues:

Addendum: I also acquired a Raphael 2/0 brush, which arrived just after the nick of time (the day that we moved), and had to chase me over to Washington. It's still all wrapped up, since I can't do anything with it until after I've unearthed the boxes that have my minis and painting stuff.

I like the feel of Raphaels a lot. I just find that they wear out on me pretty quickly.

I had a nightmare last night that my winsor and newton size 1 bristles all fell out.

My size 3 has bristles falling out of it slowly for some reason already, so it's my worst nightmare for this to happen to my 1.

SCORE! Got a Galleon for 50% off, just because the box was severely damaged. The colossal is intact, however.

So, it seems like I'm not very good at the "Work in Progress" thing. Here is my finished mind flayer/bathalian.

So I have a way of grabbing some terrain items for a 'quick' paint job, and it turning out to be not so quick. See what I mean with the Bones book cases, and barrels, some cows, and the Bones 1 caskets.

I should have known better when I sat down to knock out just a couple of beds. Well... maybe they don't look as good as I think they do, because I know how much bleeding time I put into them, and maybe I've gotten some Stockholm syndrome towards them.

      I'll let you all decide.

And just because, Here's a Pig to wrap in all those blankets.

Let me know what you all think.

      Thanks for looking!

Nothing too exciting, just yet another example of my tabletop painting.
har har har... Sorry couldn't resist.

But these  were actually really quick. (I had remembered my wood formula by then. Of course I yet again didn't write it down, cause I always think, "I'll remember." )

      Hello all,

This is the 3rd mini I have ever painted.  It is from the Learn To Paint Kit: Layer Up!  I am pleased with how it came out, though once again I think the pictures do not do it justice.  I followed the directions in almost all regards, however I used a flesh wash instead of what the booklet called for, and I tried out a Gemstone colour from GW on the gemstone. The number one thing I learned from this kit was glazing.  WOW! Its so simple but it helped smooth the transitions between highlights so well that I will never not glaze again.  Please let me know what you all think! I really want critiques too! Help me get better at this hobby that I love so much!

I've had this guy since the first kickstarter and have put off painting him due to his distinct lack of a nose in the bones version.  A couple nights ago I decided to perform some rhinoplasty with green stuff so I could put him to use in a D&D game.  I went with metallic paints rather than spend too much time blending NMM on his armor, and it doesn't hurt that he'll look shiny on the table.

The design on the shield is the symbol of the Forgetten Realms deity Tempus, but it also works for the Red Knight (whose red horse chess piece is a less exciting design to paint).
