[SPLIT] Bones 2 Update 9.12.14 conversation

Recommended Posts

I could help identify the missing pieces. I have an excel sheet at home with all the minis in picture format. Unfortunately that would be 9 hours from now if I do try.

These are the ones I could not identify from the video, obviously more than six, but some may have been hidden by other models:

92854 (the female barbarian)

92695 (the 'sea hag' from Under the Sea)

92688 (one of the dragon hatchlings)

92679 (the 'fairy' from Sylvan Creatures)

92620 (the Evil High Sea Priest from the original core)

92698 (the iconic monk from the Pathfinder Heroes)

92714 (Stone from Savage Worlds)

92715 (Dr. Hellstromme from Savage Worlds)

92717 (Texas Ranger from Savage Worlds)

92672 (the fly demon from the Lesser Demons)

92703 (the iconic summoner from Pathfinder Heroes II)

92705 (the iconic cavalier from Pathfinder Heroes II)

I looked through the video twice...woo hoo.

Though there is a figure at the 52 sec mark that looks like someone riding a bat.  Anyone able to tell me what figure it actually is.

I think that is the raster from the numenera add on with a rider that was not in the original concept art.

Nothing was deliberately hidden. The models were glued to 8x10 foam core boards for transportation and display at PAX, and were freely available to attendees for close examination. When compiling the placards into a line for the video, an unintended consequence was that some models were obscured by the others.

As each placard was build with the largest models at the back, it meant in some cases that the models at the back of one placard obscured the models at the front of the other placard.

And my fingerprints are on each and every one of those! BwaaHaaHaa!!!

(Plus I got to help Bryan glue some of those down)

You've got 4 of them, plus several others!

Is this going to be a situation like the Townsfolk Mother, Juliette, Cowgirl, Merisiel, Drago Voss, etc., where they are only coming out in Bones via Kickstarter due to issues with the molding, or is it a fixable matter?

They said fixing, so I would assume that the molds have been corrected so they can keep selling great product.

That's my reading of the info too - the initial run turned out to have issues so they were rejected by Reaper until the molds were retooled to fix the issue. Presumably that means a short run of producing enough of those particular models, they then get bundled into the core sets and the shipment is then set on the way to Reaper HQ.

By that do you mean that DonTheDime listed several approved minis that are not in the video?

Put another way, are all of the approved minis in the video?

We are having the molds corrected before production begins, so that the final approved models can be released.  It is a Fixable Matter.

I mean that Don the Dime included models that are in the video, possibly concealed behind larger figures or otherwise hard to find, and which have been approved.

Every approved model is in the video, *unless* when putting the boards together I missed something by accident.  We almost included the unapproved models, too, for completeness, but were worried that they might look bad and so we left them out.
