Some interesting ideas there.

Several of the minis look like they'd be usable in a weird west or alternate old west setting.

We're glad you like it. :)
Beagle: Estimitaded delivery is December. We prefer to underpromise and overdeliver than otherwise.
Hope you understand.

I like bits from each. Hopefully there is a pick and choose option.

Little confused by the information on the site.  In the pledge levels, you have a starter set consisting of:

You will receive one Starter Set of 1 faction of your choice containing 9 Infantry and 1 Large miniatures, including their Model Profile Card.

But then the graphic indicates that the Starter Set contains using the North as an example:

A General, the Lt, 4 Infantry, 2 Heavy Weapons, a Specialist, and a Mounted.

Or are the 9 "infantry" supposed to mean 9 human sized models?

Quite frankly, the prices for ordnance sergeant and first lieutenant seem a bit off. Doing a bit of quick math, they suggest 2 token sets + 1 template set are valued at $36, with the print rule book being valued at $10.

That's:

a) a bit bonkers considering buying them as add-ons to the non-bundle level would seem cheaper ($33 for 100 tokens+templates)

b) a nice lump of money for tokens and templates regardless; might want to sell harder why they're worth that (just expecting people to look at the add-ons section and go "oooh, acrylics, shiny!" is a bit meh)

c) likely not how you wanted the math to work out to begin with

Of course, that's assuming these two pledge levels include the same rule book. And not, say, ordnance sergeant only gets b&w and first lieutenant gets full color (in which case the prices might make sense). Which I'm at a loss trying to figure out. Which also isn't good.

So, in short:

1. Clarify pledge levels (which rule book is included?)

2. Double-check math for pricing

Yes, "Infantry" means only size, not equipment or role - 9 human sized models.

100 tokens + templates is $33 and the B/W rulebook is $15+$6 (shipping) for a total of $123 including a 2-starter sets pledge. It is an 8 bucks difference which may not be much but, honestly, acrylics have no margin we can work with.

If that's the case, never mind. The thing I really didn't like was first lieutenant basically suggesting discounts on the tokens/templates are out, whereas they're pretty easy for the book (and miniatures). To me, that makes the wrong component seem "precious". But if that is an inherent drawback of the acrylics, nothing you can do about it.

Of course, you can go for the $1 pledge and custom the bits you like.
