Raging Heroes: Dark Elves and Sisters

I still believe they're hoping enough people switch to resin minis that they can cancel their metal production run.

I do as well. They must realize lots of people like resin or metal over the other and stick with their choice. Just make the metal for crying out loud.

Maybe they'll invent a new alloy to 'improve' metal production.

I think I only have Asharah on Pegasus left from this clown show. And just to reiterate, it makes me angry not just because of the money spent (that's spilled milk), but because the renders were SO GOOD. These should be sitting in my top drawer, rather than in a box next to my Bones on the 'I should really get off my butt and sell these' pile.

I'm peeved as well. Just get me my minis. Can't stand the resin, especially on the ones of theirs I got. Look at tgem crosseyed and they break. <_<

I just want my dealings with the company done.

Credit where credits due, Raging Heroes has good customer service.

After thinking about it this morning, I decided I wanted this over rather than wait who knows how many months for metal minis I'll probably sell any ways, so I took them up on their resin swap offer.

Within an hour they replied, everything is sorted out and I should have my minis in the next couple of weeks.

I have no self control, so when the next one starts and I post that I am backing and am super optimistic, someone please remind me that I am done, and lightly smack me...

Well after that last update I broke and switched my 2 metal selections to resin. I really don't want to wait 3+ months over 2 measly minis.

Pledge managers back up if anyone wants to add to their order. 1 week only.

Exactly the same for me, I'm not waiting another 3+ months for a whole 2 miniatures, and I'm also not paying anything more for a second shipment!

the troops are mostly done and as far as I know they were always planned as resin only. Some heroines were offered in metal, too, and I'll wait for mine as long as it takes because I hope they are better than the resin ones (less, vents, less grease, less brittle).

This is why I'm waiting on the metal. The additional wait was kind of expected by me. ::(:

If it were more than 2 figs I would wait as well, but I've already finished painting all the dark elves I have (barring the Freebies) and I had hoped to have the RH ones here by now to continue. I hate to have to redo a wet palette since I tend to mix paints as I do an army up, I'm bound to not get the right mixes again if I have to do them separately.

Hi folks. I am creating cross-platform map-making software (for Windows and macOS), suitable for creating both print-resolution maps and lower-resolution maps suitable for use with virtual tabletop software. It's called MapForge, and it will be sort of a spiritual successor to Dundjinni, but with a greater focus on stitching maps together from pre-existing map tiles and then customizing the resulting map (with additional decorations, etc.) to suit the GM's particular needs.

MapForge should appeal to GMs of face-to-face game sessions and to those using any VTT software, who want to create their own slick-looking battlemaps to visually enrich their RPG sessions (in any genre), but who find existing mapping programs (including image-editing tools such as Gimp and Photoshop) too intimidating/confusing/expensive.

I am currently running a Kickstarter campaign to fund the program's development. The software will be priced to be very accessible/affordable, probably $30 or so, but it's just $27 during the Kickstarter campaign. And to help offset the cost even more, there will be at least 9 free content Add-Ons for it, covering various genres. MapForge will also offer a free level of use, so having a license won't be required to make maps with it.
Version 1.0 of MapForge should be ready to go on sale in July 2017. Shortly after that, MapForge will also have the ability to generate random "dungeon" layouts via Donjon.

I hope you will all take a minute to check out the project, play around with the downloadable prototype, and if you like what you see, tell your GM friends about it.

      Thanks!
      --Hernan (aka Heruca)

PS: The campaign funded on day 1, and is now at 475% of the funding goal, with ~1330 backers and 9 days to go. All the Stretch Goals have already been unlocked.

This one is for a skirmish game featuring their wonderfully fantastical minis many of which are available in either metal or resin.
