STYGIAN GUARDIAN CHRONOPIA

Recommended Posts

You and share the same tastes in miniatures, it seems. I've got this one tucked away in a box somewhere awaiting his turn at the paint table. Yours looks very well done, nice work!

I think the backdrop is an old TSR AD&D cover with the people/stuff in the foreground removed...

I've got a Stygian army on my table right now. Great job!

Thank you.

Don't forget to show the army when you get it done.

I love to see how you tackle these guys.

No I've printed out some landscapes and neutral backgrounds from the internet.

I have laminated a box with alufoil.

Then put the background up, fold a little so the mini can stand on it.

Point daylight lamp at it.

Take pic. presto.. mini is in background, well sort off. :;):

Something out of Skyrim?

Nope. Target Games Chronopia.

That is the mini indeed.

Limey72 responded to the question wich backdrop I used in the second series.

That is a scene from SKyrim

I'm not sure what this is supposed to be; I got it as part of a figure lot on Ebay. Maybe an Otyugh? Maybe something C'thulu-ish? In any case I painted it for the Morihalda Challenge.

I took out the BBQ and some stuff I bought.

Used styrofoam for the base and a Styrofoam Ball ( half of it).

Applied some snow an grass flock, glued some trees and figurines in place and done.

The houses will light up at night and I added a string of Led lights.

Put it in the garden in front of our window/door. So in the evening we can see it from our room.

Just a silly idea, maybe you guys like it, because you know...most of you are silly too...

As November's Hangout Figure of the Month, we picked Medusa 77037/02833. Now, because of boobs, I can't share most of my pics of her.
However you can see them at my blog:
      Part 1

      Part 2

At this point I just need to touch up a few spots, flock the base, and she's done!

Here is one I did last week and I thought I would put it on here, I searched around at other attempts at it and decided to have a stab at it.  I don't know if I should have censored this because her top half is naked but I did see that it looks like the moderator removes the image if it is not okay.  Apologies if there is any offence.
I found this figure really hard to do as there was lots going on with bangles and arms plus I have no idea how to do scales.  I have next to no idea about highlighting as you can tell and I am just learning through trial and error so here goes.
( oh and the face got too much for me in the end as it this stage in my painting eyes are virtually impossible ! :) )
