February Resolutionary Painting Challenge

Recommended Posts

Please see the main post here for rules, questions and general chatter, while using this thread to keep a list of links to your show-offs or show-off related comments in a single post: A reminder to please adhere to miniatures posting guidelines as usual.

http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/66365-resolutionary-painting-challenge-2016-chatterquestions/

All the information you need should be here.

Your challenge is: 4

Bonus Challenge: Fingerpainting! Am I completely mad? Maybe. To elaborate: paint one mini without using ANY brush, or application device, only hands. And you may not enlist the help of a smaller person to do the painting for you ::P:

Hard Mode: Use your hands as your pallet as well.

A request to use "Fingerpaint" as a tag if you choose to do so.

A friendly reminder again to use "RPChallenge" in the tags for show-off to help them be found easier.

For those of us that attempt the bonus, I expect it to be a glorious train-wreck.

There IS a loophole in this, but I'm not saying what it is

There is more than one.  I have no less than 20 minis suitable for finger painting.  I might get it out of the way tomorrow, just because.  I'll even do a WIP for it.  I'll need Awesome Wife to take pictures though.  Shewon't let me touch her good camera with paint all over my hands.

Are there bonus points if I use my toes?  How about my elbow?  Or other body parts, like my >redacted<?

How would we tell if/prove a brush was not used?

There's no practical way to tell. Like much there's the honor system. Plus because it's fingerpainting, there should be a vast quality difference.

I had fun painting these Bones mushroom men (SKU 77345) to a tabletop standard.  Their faces are so derpy and cool!

A really quick and dirty set of scenery using mantics library mini crate.  All told I have maybe 2 hours into the set.  I think it came out pretty well.  I wanted to see what these looked like and the could double for additional scenery on my Saga game.

Air brushes brown primer, followed by a drybrush of woodland brown and then a bunch of colors for the actual books

Hope you like what you see...

First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Alessio Cisbani, and I'm an Italian miniature sculptor and painter.
With this project I want to create a series of metal miniatures inspired by the classic ones of the 90s that I collected and painted. These miniatures will fit with your favourite wargames and can be cool PC or NPC for your pen&paper roleplaying games.
The path this project will take is like the exploration of a dungeon: as our heroes delve deeper, they will face menacing creatures like Gargoyles or treacherous cultists and enchanters, but they may also find unexpected allies... Moreover Randolf the Ogre (see below) could find bits of armor, and weapons of his size!
My project is live and yet funded in few hours, I would be glad if you can take a look.

I Don't have much to go on with this dragon.  its another one that has been sitting half finished on my shelf forever.  the bottom has some script on the bottom that looks like FWS and an 8.  other than that I don't have any clue where it comes from.

but I finally dusted the mini off, freshened up the red (It was becoming a pink dragon) and decided to display it here.  hope everyone enjoys!
