I really love what you have done with him and truly think he is your best work to date. I am going to be honest though and tell you I hate that background and do not think it shows off the goblin or the the chicken of death to their full potential. It looks grainy to me and just isn't the right color for the bird thingie to stand out. Just my opinion and I hope I don't come across as snarky. Just letting you know I think you would do better in the competition with a different background.

That said, if you are sticking with that background, I will gladly tell you which pics I think are best. (I will do this when I get back from seeing Warcraft!)

Hmmm The Chicken is kinda grey, so is the Background, so Pochi might be on to something.

As of now.

YES! It was so good! Worth the wait and worth the extra couple bucks to see it in the "fancy" theater! (Previews for Star Trek and Suicide Squad look amazeballs!)

Yup background is the wrong tone.   I will hold my votes for the Darker background!

Home yet??

Okay, I stopped at Michael's on the way home and got some backdrops.

I did the same steps to each photo in the editor, and tried to keep the same 'shot' as well....

So what color is best?

Considering both the hobgoblin's colour, the death chicken's colour, and the overall exposure, I'm leaning towards the purple background. Black being a close second.

We just launched our campaign for awesome gargantuan dragons, they are 20 cm high, they will look huge compared to 32mm miniatures, the design of every dragon is also unique and different.

Corvus Corax Miniatures is a small hobby project created in 2013. Since then, three projects have successfully funded on Kickstarter and all have been fully delivered on time without any delays. The feedback from the backers have only been positive. Thanks to the support through Kickstarter, 17 miniatures have been made available.

The goal of this project is to raise funds for the production a total of four (4) miniatures for the Clansmen of Caer Loch. The miniatures will be cast in high quality, non-toxic resin. The scale of the miniatures is 35mm (measuring to the eyes in a standing, straight pose, although some characters may be slightly larger because they are supposed to be large characters).

You can also pick up the other Corvus Corax minis from previous projects as add ons

I've backed the previous projects and been very happy with the results

      Y'all.
      It's done.

I've probably sunk about 40 hours into this, and it's been so much fun to learn some new skills. But I am so, SO glad it's done. ;)
Enjoy! And let me know what you think! I'm seriously open to C&C.

      Thanks so much for looking!

This is Scale 75's Ares Operator 03. It's a 40mm resin future soldier and apparently part of a gaming system. The package had some cards in it, but since I don't play the game, they're a bit lost on me... Anyhoo...

The figure is four parts - head, upper torso/arms, lower torso/legs, and the rifle with molded on hands. Cleanup was taking care of the usual casting seams and the removal of bits and pieces of mold trash. I used the gray Stynelrez primer (brushed on out of the bottle) and Reaper MSP paints. I used a Dremel tool and ball/dovetail cutters to mark up/damage the armor and went with a splotchy green camo. While they have their place, I tend not to use bright colors on military figures because all they say to me is 'Here I am! Shoot me!'.

The figure is mounted on a sanded/stained wood craft block with Aves Apoxie Sculpt groundwork, kitty litter rocks and somebody's weeds. I added a dripping rusty pipe coming out of the ground and a large putty teddy bear.

      Qs and Cs welcomed.

      Glen
