I saw this on Facebook. Secret Weapon said that the cart is functional. This is probably going to hurt my wallet...

Yes, but to be clear - the cart wheels don't move, it is merely designed to fit the track and sit upon it wherever you put it - the tracks are engineered to be uniform. So you can scoot the cart, but it won't roll at all, especially not in-game when you don't want it to.

Thanks!

They also said that it is built in multiples of 1"...which I assume will mean that it should end up being compatible with Dwarven Forge, Stones, and the other terrain out there already.

I wonder what pledge level costs will be like...

Long have longed for something like this. Don't even want to think about what it'll cost me, though.

Here's a quick shot of the Unpainted samples I have in my office next to some of my DF tiles.

A little birdie tells me that the Core Set box is going to be cheaper than a Bones Core Set Box.

You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you for the comparison shot.

My wallet is doomed.

But... what about the add-ons? It's not the Bones core sets that kill anyone's budget...

      Game: Village Attacks
      Publisher: Grimlord Games
      Previous experience: Endure the Stars
      Platform: Kickstarter

      Synopsis:
Village Attacks is a cooperative castle defence game where players take on the roles of the most infamous creatures of folklore and legend from around the world! Deep in a remote part of the world, you and your monstrous associates have taken up residence in an immense castle. But the local village has had enough of the evil that lies at its door and has decided to lay siege to the castle in an effort to exorcise your wicked taint from the world.
The villagers may be weak, but they are not alone! News of your malevolent presence has spread far and wide; hunters and heroes have come from all corners of the globe to vanquish you! I've backed two Zenit projects and both delivered in a timely fashion with a nice product.

This project is for adding armies for the 1582 Cagayan battles (Spanish and Pirates) to the Kensei miniatures game.  Note that Kensei has several fantasy elements so these might not be full historically accurate.

      Look! Shiny!
"Girl Genius is an ongoing story featuring adventure, romance, and Mad Science! It follows the adventures of Agatha Heterodyne, the last of a notorious family in which the spark of mad science runs strong. We call it a "Gaslamp Fantasy," by which we mean that it takes place in an old-fashioned, Vernian world of airships, monsters, and wild inventions.
Girl Genius is published as a webcomic and graphic novel series, and also as a series of prose novels. The graphic series is updated three times a week on our web site. When we have enough pages, roughly once a year, we run a Kickstarter campaign and publish a collection. The Girl Genius graphic novel series has won three Hugo Awards for Best Graphic Story!
Kings and Wizards is Book Four of the Second Journey of Agatha Heterodyne–and the seventeenth book in the overall series. If you're new to the Girl Genius comics, The Second Journey is a great place to jump in!"

... there, that should cover it. >.>
