Talon Games - CAV: STRIKE OPERATIONS Kickstarter II "The Battle for New Vesta"

Recommended Posts

Just a general FYI...

I believe we have contacted everyone at this point who were having issues with their fulfillment and are now processing those for missing rewards. As far as Canada, the shipment is currently in customs and I will update once I have more information.

Canada Customs is evil  incompetent  holding a grudge  playing with my minis understaffed.

But I already knew that.

I'm still trying to carve out time to do my inventory. Maybe tomorrow . . .

Once I've done that, I'll follow the previous instructions if I have any issues.

What a complete lack of surprise, it is quicker to ship to the EU and Australia than to get through Canada Customs.:upside:

Luckily I still have 4 or 5 (thousand) figs to paint before I run out....

From the KS comments page:

Just an FYI. The shipment to Canada has cleared customs and was picked up yesterday by the local shipper. My expectation is for them to start shipping by EoW.

This was three days ago. Hopefully they shipped by today, meaning most of us will receive them by the end of next week.

It seems the price of free shipping is great patience.

I believe that all Canadian orders have shipped, or at least will have by the end of today.

And yes, free shipping to anyone has gotten ridiculously expensive for KS projects, especially for those going outside the US. We tried our best to work with other shippers to cut down those costs but it does add extra time at every stage. For the next KS in August, free shipping will be gone (as was seen with Bones 4 as well).

Got my notification in Australia last night,  so should have them sometime this coming week (if lucky... Australian postal services have gone to the pits lately)

My figures arrived,  next step is to do inventory..  A brief look suggests most is ok,  but someone did mess up the paints,  2 x Adon sets rather than one of each.. Email won't be sent until I've checked everything

Anyone from Canada received their loot?

Been wondering that myself.

Especially considering we're about to start a long weekend.

I got a shipping confirmation email!

Well, an automated notification that a label was created. Meaning it's not shipped yet. And we're already Thursday right before a long weekend. Meaning... I'm not getting my minis for (yet) another week.

[Hooray for free shipping!]

I'm doing my best to get the shippers to finish up. I "believe" that everything they received has been shipped now. If you do not receive a shipping tracking email by Monday, then you will need to start the process as detailed in the last update so we can figure out why yours was dropped.

Monday is a holiday for most of Canada, so I suspect not much in the way of shipping will happen that day.

Is Jamming an ECM signal an active process that must be maintained like current Electronic Warfare counter Measures or is it more like an EMP that just turns off ECM?

      In practice:

If my Talon activates ECM to block Target-Locks, then my opponent successfully Jams my ECM with his warden, is my ECM gone until next turn or would it be back if I immediately destroy the warden that jammed my ECM on my next activation during that turn?

      About this project
      What is this thing??
Tabletop RPGs have many bits and pieces. And there isn't a good way to hold everything in one place that is good looking, convenient, and has an active role in the gameplay, right? WRONG!
      It's the Adventurer's Kit.
Question: So what does it do exactly?
Better Question: What does it NOT do?
The Adventurer's Kit comes with a:
Favorite dice section Space for more dice More space for dice (or anything you like to put there. Do what you want. I'm a gamer not a cop.) Place for pens and pencils Pencil sharpener  Modular miniature box (informational gif below) Phone charger Brackets for a phone or tablet Card section for spell cards or flash cards Large rolling tray Clipboard for your character sheet Brackets for the character sheet clipboard and/or book Space to transport books to your gaming location It allows for gaming in a unique location (forest, renaissance faire, etc.)   If you've ever lost dice or minis or crimped the corners of your otherwise pristine character sheet then you want to look at The Adventurer's Kit. This well organized case contains space for everything. Lets take a look at some examples of it's versatility.

As you know, rats are zoologically original from Sulawesi, a tropical island in Indonesia. We decided to re-design the famous rat army as a Sulawesi tribe.
      Background
The night was cool and moist. She was moving into the forest with seasoned experience, silently, predatory, and careful to not become prey. ..  ...That same day, a few hours before and in a very far place, two armies were deployed, each in front the other, ready for the imminent fight. Among these, two powerful wizards found in war a credible pretext to face. To show everyone who were the best among them; the strongest, the best. .. read more

Surprised this hasn't made it here yet.
Tre is at it again, this time with an Aenglish based warband.  Sitting at 10 figures for $55.  A full-figured female mage with her male apprentice, a female thief and 7 semi modular men-at-arms.  End date is 8 days away (KS just went live yesterday), and he has several stretch goals planned.  Just about funded now.

Sorry for no picture, my work computer doesn't like to cough up links.
