PolyHero Dice - Wizard Dice

Recommended Posts

I like the bone look of the parchment ones.  Compared to the other dice KSs I've seen lately it has good prices too.

Interesting. If only the potion die was a d8 rather than a d10 though. However it does deliver around my wife's birthday. Ponder Ponder.

I agree the prices don't seem too bad.

Anyone here back their previous Kickstarter and have any comments to share?

I just got my two sets of warrior dice a couple weeks ago. They are pretty robust, the colors are vibrant, have some heft, and come in a nice hard plastic case. They were a tad delayed. Iirc they were having some rolling issues they did not like with the initioal production run of the prototypes and tweaked it to roll better and to be more obvious what the rolled number is. I will probably never use them as They are better targeted to rpg's which I haven't played for 30 years....that being said, I will probably pledge fir a set of the wizard dice as they are pretty cool, the company did well on the last one, and....I am addicted to Kickstarter.

I have also just received my two warrior sets from the previous kickstarter.  They are well made and easy to read.  The d20 takes a little getting used to for rolling but once you figure out to give it a bit of a flip as you roll it works well enough.

My only complaint is that the d4 and d6 are pretty light compared to the rest of the dice.  They roll quite well, with the d4 in particular being an improvement on a standard one, but don't have much heft to them.

I do feel I got my money's worth with them and they do make for an interesting dice set.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I was wondering about the feel and quality of the material used and you both sound positive about it.

Although I did notice:

"We are using fancier, more expensive materials and ink for the dice, including pearlized, and potentially transparent materials."

So the new dice may have a different feel anyway.

Was looking forward to seeing some transparent dice but the next stretch goal of essentially colourless plastic doesn't do it for me.

      Hi all,

I feel a bit bad that this is my first post here on Reaper Forum advertising a kickstarter. I used to go by the Moniker Kaybee or Kaybee81 (can't remember) but as I'm known as beefcake on other fora I thought it best to go by the same name everywhere. Anyway here is a link to some STL files for purchase.

The Wizard's Tower contains stackable tower sections to create your own unique Wizard's Tower.
Files have been scaled for 28mm miniatures but, as with all 3d printable files, you have the ability to scale them up or down to suit your gaming needs.
The initial reward consists of 7 different modular tower pieces and a ladder. All of which have been created on Blender, run through a repair tool, to check for any non-manifold parts and other errors, and printed.

      [li]Tower roof[/li]
      [li]Single window tower section[/li]
      [li]Tower section with door[/li]
      [li]Tower bridge (2 bridge sections link together)[/li]
      [li]Double window tower section[/li]
      [li]Windowless tower section[/li]
      [li]Tower base[/li]
      [li]and a ladder[/li]

      [/li]
[/list] All for NZD $10 (roughly USD $6.80)

The tower pieces can be oriented in almost any direction to provide a different look each time you game.

Hmm, search function claims there's no hits on this forum for 'war', so I may be simply missing it, but I don't seem to see anyone mention this has relaunched:

Z War One - Damnation "episodic, comic book miniature board game"

Only difference as far as I can tell is more stretch goals. Might've made sense for them to try to have a third episode ready, but doesn't look like it so far.
