I was looking for something else, when I saw the Goblins in the Bones III Kickstarter.  Those guys are pretty epic.  I have been working on a set of goblins and do have some Bones and Metal minis of the existing Goblins.  I vastly prefer the newer sculpts (the football head ones with all the sharp teeth) but for the display set I have in mind I'm wanting to get metal versions of all of them.

Will the Goblins in Bones III be made available as metal minis some time in the future?  And is there a general way to tell on other types of figures?  I can understand not having the Dragons translate across due to weight and size, but are there some things that make it into metal and some that don't?

Some models will make the transition, others will not. I am not aware right now of any specific plans to translate the models discussed in the above two posts to metal in the foreseeable future. My crystal ball extends only 90 days into the future, however.

We announce our upcoming releases on our website 30-90 days in advance, that is the best place to look for upcoming release information.

Correction; Devonna, I have been informed, is planned for metal in January.

I would like to add a "YAY" to more metal miniatures then Bones.  I would gladly spend the extra $$$ for them

Conversely, I'd be interested in a list of Bones that have NOT been converted to metal.  Complete-ist that I am . . .

Liking the look of some of those March releases.  Which will become my April purchases to get to the $40 Anniversary figure!

Here's my final batch of new painted figures.
Bones Giant Centipedes.  A staple encounter for low-level adventurers.
Still inspired by Reign of Winter.  Sadly, Mr. Red got into the snow of Mr. Blue's base!
      Enjoy.
      C&C Welcome.

Here are some classic vermin for your viewing pleasure.
Still going along with the Reign of Winter theme, I wanted one wintry option.
The red one shading/blending got really washed out in the picture.  The recesses are splattered crimson, so much darker than this looks.
      Boy, are these eyes tiny!

Also to go along with our Reign of Winter campaign.
This is the BONES Winter Wolf.
I had the most fun with the eyes.
Some of the pics came out a little dark, despite 3 lights.
It must be a camera thing...

Whipped this Ghost King up while I was taking a break from writing up an adventure.  Blue is my favorite color, and I decided to dive in head first with all of my different blue paints.  This is the first time I have tried adding high lights on the cloaks, and I think it made a huge difference.  Critiques and advice welcome as always, especially advice on high lights.  Thanks in advance!

I wanted to share this here for those of you not on the social media outlets.

My daughter's latest project was the Crazy Cat Lady that I got her for Christmas.  She painted the cats first which just amazed me because some of the detail she put on them was awesome.  Once she was done and I could not get her to touch up anything else she wanted to base.  I decided she would do it all except the super glue.  So away she went with craft glue and basing materials. She has a few more things I got her for Christmas and then birthday is in less than two weeks and I have a couple more minis for then too.  Should be a busy year if actually sit down and paint.
