Been following it a very little bit on and off since it was announced.

Yup; it's been on pre-order for a while. Now to paint my vintage SF figures...

Aren't Rouge Stars better known as Red Giants?

And yes, I've been eagerly awaiting this as well, with my Many 20  painted SF figs.

What are everyone's plans for it? Use the rules and setting as is, use just the rules with another (or your own made up) setting, or what?

it is interesting looking, I will likely pick it up if I see it locally.

I very much like small arms scifi, so I'll pick up the rulebook through a local shop most likely.  I'm thinking space police vs galactic scum type stuff.

I'm getting the rulebook, and I'll figure out what to do with it after I read it.

Yeah, not exactly sure what I will be using it for either but I think pretty much anything generic sci fi.

I have just binge watched both seasons of a netflix show called Dark Matter that gave me some good ideas for futuristic sci fi.

Depending on how the rules flow it may be an infinity replacement if time is super short.

I love Andrea's design work, but I'm not doing any sci-fi right now.  Avoiding it entirely (have some Shelf-o-shame things that can attest to that).

I would be interested to hear a review once someone gets it.

Pretty keen on this. I can see myself using Reaper minis like IMEF Marines, the Kulathi, Andromedans, and other assorted Chronoscope stuff. Plus I heard that it was going to be possible to build "space wizard with laser sword" characters, and I've got a ton of Star Wars prepaints from ten years ago.

Heh.  I wrote the "FUBAR Heroes" adaptation because I lacked the patience to wait for Rouge Stars.

I've got some prepaints, but I've also got a bag full of the metal minis that WotC did before switching to prepaints!

Maybe. I need to see how the game works. Just got into Frostgrave. Now if it's Sci-fi frostgrave then yes. LOL.
