Love what you did with this. I've got two of them on standby and will be referencing this when I start painting.

That's great work! I would show you min but he wound up in a NSFW or forum position.

I love the bright colors and the base is awesome too.

Wow.  I was never even able to make my metal copy stay assembled, much less get it painted to any sort of standard...  Very nice work!

Thanks!

Yeah, I can appreciate that with the metal version. Fortunately, the Bones one is blissfully lightweight & after boiling up some "spider leg stew" to reset it's shape, it was a joy to assemble.

Suitably gruesome!

I'm not sure if there's a shoe big enough for this beastie! :poke:

This one has been sitting on my desk begging to be finished for awhile now.  After taking the pics I fiddled with the face and changed the color of the stained wood to a walnut which I like better.  I'll try to get a photo of that up at some point.  I had a wip on this with all my colors and process but the evil empire of photobucket ate the pictures.

I used some of the bright skin triad and for the shadow colors corporeal shade.  The basework is made from the firm sculpey (the gray type,) a stick and etched brass foliage.  The spider shield and barrel are from reaper's bones line.  The crystal I did with a few real ones and then just made the rest out of sculpey.  I had fun with the idea of someone emerging from shadow so painted the back with the shadow colors and then blended the front to back which gave me a very nice green I used also on the foliage.  I made that using a combo of chestnut brown, corporeal shade and linen white.

Enjoy!  C&C welcome and feel free to ask any questions!  I can try to dig up some of the old photos, but having lost my hard drive, it may take time to find the right SD card.

Also, I have clearly been playing too much Skyrim...

Another one for my LOST WORLD PROJECT.
      WIP here:

      CADIRITH, Demonic Spider.

I used a Web Stamp for the base  a gift from @knarthex, as was most of the flock on the base.
Added some venom with Vallejo Water Effects,
      Base is made of foam.

      Likes and Comments welcome.
Negative critique, talk to the Spider first.

Finally finished the Demon Lord of the Undead or rather I guess Orcus.   Started doing this when I received Bones II.  So that should give you all an idea how long it has been sitting there on the painting desk in my study.   Was going to do the whole thing in greens/blues.  But decided about 1/4 of the way into painting I would do it in a more traditional ruby/crimson skinned look.   Which then became a dark toned ruby/crimson scheme.  Such a great feeling to finish something that seems to have taken a eternity.  Talk about torment!

I've decided on the figures I'm using for this project now too, they changed since last time. I want to enter it into this year's Reapercon Diorama category (of course) and I want it to qualify for Bombshell Babes diorama, so I'm picking out 5 babes to battle the keeper (RBG) and his summoned demon (reaper glabrezu): 1) Celeste - Sorceress/wizard, 2) Khai the Huntress - ranger, going to weapon swap her to give her a bow, 3) Thorga Half Orc - Barbarian, Astrid Thunderhammer - Cleric, and Sister Vasha Fane - Paladin.

This piece will be 2 stories tall, it will have a lot of details and a lot of action, with a summoning circle that the Glabrezu is inside of at the time the heroines come rushing into the Keeper's Sanctum.

      The badelf adventuring party!

      Vs.....

The Keeper and his summoned Glabrezu
