Court of the Sultana by Effincool Miniatures

Recommended Posts

Two more stretch goals have been unlocked.

The Female Palace Musician-Drummer with drum and a Female Vizier have been added to the "Whole Court" pledge for free and have been added to the selections of add-ons available for everyone else to purchase, the Female Drumming Partner and alternate pose of Kas Khan the big cat have also been added to the list of add-ons.

The WIP picture of the drummer was quickly put together to give a rough idea of what it will look like etc, it needs work all over as its a very early WIP.

Just to give a little bump. We are closing in on the $11,000 stretch goal that adds a free mini to the full court level and opens up the air priestess add on.

Also 2 new pledge levels. 1 that gives all the add-ons included up to the $10,000 stretch and the other thast does the same and gives you addional add-on money ad a discounted rate $5/ mini instead of $7.

I went in at the full shebang level. I'm hoping more people kickstart NPCs and scenic bits.

You upped the whole shebang level. Upped my pledge accordingly.

$13,000 Goal achieved !!! Female Fire Breather/Dancer free for Whole Court and above, with a +7 add on price for those below or if you want extras(unlocking a Tri-Part Room Divider for $3 add on option).

Edit: I misunderstood the Sword swallower stretch goal so removing my error filled info about it... Sorry. ::):

The low projection for the finish is $17,000 ish with 12 more days to go... so we should have no problems reaching the last 2 goals. Which I have to say I really hope we get to as they are both great.

•$14,000 A Palace Gong with a +3 add on price (unlocking a Female Gong player for $7 add on option)

•$15,000 Female Crystal Ball Juggler/Dancer with a +7 add on price (unlocking a Female Snake Dancer/Charmer for $7 add on option)

So if I pledge for the whole court ... I get how many free minis (stretch-goals)? I really like what I'm seeing here ... but there are too many Kickstarters at the moment I like (and Rising Sun starts soon) ... and shipping to Europe plus customs ... I might pledge a bit and maybe increase my pledge later on (if we are allowed to do that).

So far the whole court gets the following for free.

UNLOCKED STRETCH GOALS:

  • Female Water Bearer
  • 1st Female Palace Guard
  • Female Drummer
  • Kodo Style Drum
  • Female Vizier
  • 1st Nude Male Slave
  • Female Cloth Dancer
  • Sultana's Attendant (foot washer)
  • Female Fire Breather/Dancer

So 9 free minis... (which the kickstarter price is around $7 each individually so $63 in free minis at the $65 whole court level so far.

And I messed up on the Sword swallower goal. Effin Cool provided a link to be shared. If we got 20 new backers through that link then the Whole court level would have gotten a free sword swallower mini. however "the new backers had to come specifically from sharing the link that I posted in the update. That was the only way to track if people are sharing the project. :-( So for that link has generated no new backers. :-(" So the Sword swallower seems unlikely at this moment. But we are still moving through the fund related stretch goals.

Just to clarify a little on Original Timmy's post. The add-ons are included in a couple pledge levels.

The Whole court plus includes all add ons up to what was unlocked at $10,000.

The Whole court plus 15,000 includes all add ons currently unlocked (up to $15,000).

There is also an extra level for both of those that include 10 extra minis of your choice at a discounted rate of $5/mini instead of $7/mini.

It looks like free stretch goals are done as the unlocks have more than doubled the value of the whole court level. So anymore would risk the Whole court level being a loss. There is talk about a palanquin for the Sultana being unlocked as an add-on at $20,000. It would be 4 Palanquin bearers and a Palanquin large enough to hold the Sultana's Throne. Though this is still in the planning stage and not confirmed yet.

Well, the kickstarter's funding ends tomorrow - wanted to do a quick bump in case anyone else wanted in on the fun.  There's a lot of interesting figures for a really good price now.

A DCC RPG boxed setting for Lankhmar, officially licensed by the estate of Fritz Leiber. Adventure with Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser!

There are three basic pledge levels:
The PDF pledge level includes an electronic edition of the final boxed set. (Obviously there will be no box!) This level does not include any physical rewards, add-ons or stretch goals. The boxed set includes the core boxed set as described above. All electronic stretch goals (PDFs) will apply to this level. Some of the physical stretch goals will apply to this level, generally those that fit in the box. The final level includes the boxed set as well as the "print pack." All electronic stretch goals (PDFs) will apply to this level. All of the physical stretch goals will apply, as well. Those that do not fit in the box will be shipped in a separate "print pack." See below for more information on these stretch goals.
      Stretch Goals
DCC Lankhmar continues a long tradition in RPG gaming, and we want to do right by the estate of Fritz Leiber. The stretch goals associated with this Kickstarter will help create an even more amazing tribute to the world of Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser.
Stretch goals fall into three categories:
PDF stretch goals that all backers receive Print stretch goals that can fit into the boxed set, which will be included with any pledge that has the physical boxed set The "Print Pack," which is a printed collection of the stretch goals which don't fit in the boxed set Here is a rough outline of possible stretch goals, which may evolve as the Kickstarter continues.
At $40,000: Cleared! We will add a new Lankhmar adventure module (PDF for all backers; print copy in the Print Pack)
At $60,000: We will print the poster map larger (included in boxed set)
At $80,000: We will add a second Lankhmar adventure module (PDF for all backers; print copy in the Print Pack)
At $100,000: We will add a supplement called "A Dozen Lankhmar Locations," which will provide information, maps, and floorplans on setting adventures in a dozen famous Lankhmar locales (including the Silver Eel!) (PDF for all backers; print copy in the boxed set)
At $120,000: We will add a third Lankhmar adventure module (PDF for all backers; print copy in the Print Pack)
At $140,000: We will add a supplement called "Random NPCs in Lankhmar," which will provide tables and information for generating random NPCs that your PCs can encounter in Lankhmar (PDF for all backers; print copy in the Print Pack)
At $160,000: We will add a fourth Lankhmar adventure module (PDF for all backers; print copy in the Print Pack)
At $180,000: We will add a Lankhmar-themed three-panel Judges Screen (PDF for all backers; print copy in the boxed set)
At $200,000: We will add a fifth Lankhmar adventure module (PDF for all backers; print copy in the Print Pack)
At $220,000: We will add a cloth map in the boxed set (print copy in the boxed set)
At $240,000: We will add a sixth Lankhmar adventure module (PDF for all backers; print copy in the Print Pack)
At $250,000: We will add send Michael Curtis to Houston for a week to research the Fritz Leiber archives in the University of Houston. We anticipate this may result in a new product of some kind to be delivered to backers of this Kickstarter, but exactly what we'll discover in the archives - and what product may result from it - can't be determined until Michael sets foot in the archives!

      About this project
Code Zero is a 32mm miniatures skirmish game set in a futuristic alternate universe. Players take control of a small squad of troops, broken up into fireteams, competing with each other to achieve one or several objectives and complete their mission. These combat situations usually take place within a theater of war, on the borders along the core worlds of various factions. These dangerous worlds and systems which are on the outskirts of secured core sectors are known as Code Zero's. The owners of the territories tend to change hands monthly since many of them are inhabited by second class citizens, those trying to survive and make a living in harsh future.
Code Zero is designed to create a cinematic feel of gameplay, while reflecting the dynamic ebb and flow of the battle that can happen within any given engagement. We do this by utilizing an action/reaction system, allowing both players to interact in a method keeping everyone engrossed with the battle. Utilizing alternate activations along with a different method to resolve reactions this can create some unique situations
The first of our miniatures for this universe are digitally sculpted, 3d printed and cast in high quality resin.

This looks like it could be fun. Pre-painted minis with an odd choice for scale, 65 to 85mm. The early samples do look good though:
